My wife and I stayed here when there weren't rooms available at the Westwind Inn at Travis Air Force Base. Being familiar with Marriott brands, I found this Courtyard to be the best we stayed in. First off, the service is top notch. The young lady that works the night shift is enthusiastic and energetic. Originally, she checked us in a king sized room, but we wanted a room with two double beds since our son joined us on this trip. She immediately found a room with two beds, and we switched rooms like that. She even extended our late check out to 5PM without any additional charges (usually it's a half day rate). The room was spacious with many amenities. We had a very nice view of the courtyard and swimming pool. If it wasn't't for the windy weather, I would have taken advantage of the pool.
The room included a free breakfast buffet in which I ate with my son. It was actually pretty good for its limited size. You can get cooked to order eggs, omelets, and waffles. You can serve yourself to breakfast potatoes, sausages, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, and much more. The service was also top notch. The ladies were extremely polite and helpful.
The hotel is very close to the Vacaville Outlets, so you can enjoy shopping and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Even though, I'm not in the hotel industry anymore, I'm glad there's still people out there who demonstrates what real hospitality is. A great experience all around means that we'll be back!
I support Marriott's....but this one was lacking customer service! Being an Elite member you do expect certain things and they did NOT provide customer service at all here! The rooms were nice, (we were given a Suite) very clean, No bar, only Mon. thru Thurs..... pool area was very nice....Service was not good....
