It is what it is. This hotel is geared for the budget traveler, and less so for the corporate type.
There's no refrigerator in the room (not in ours anyway), and the hotel is located in the hood. Not dangerous or anything, but it's certainly not an affluent area.
The A/C fans in the room is noisy, but if you want your room cooled down, you have to have it on.
Not a fancy place, but the cost isn't crazy either.
As far as hotels go, it was clean, about what you expect from Marriott. Water out the facet was sorta nasty...milky colored..ick, but I ain't ball'n to be brushing my teeth with Fiji water so I sucked it up..literally..and just rinsed as little as possible. Bed was pretty beat to hell, by the 3rd night my back was sore from sinking in the mattress. They have a bar downstairs where you can order food and drink, but the restaurant portion is only open in the morning. Bartender was pretty cool and friendly. Up the street is the University Village and down the street is the hood.
OK, so I've spent more than a few nights in Courtyards. This one had little beyond the basics. A couple of drunks in the bar, far too little convenient parking (on a Thursday night), and a toilet that clogged up without great justification.
The bed was nice, the wired internet access was free (for one day) and easy to use, and the staff friendly. Maybe it's just being on the road, but the place was nothing special.
