Standard courtyard stuff.  Fast check-in and check-out.  If you want to stay near LAX, this is a good choice because of free parking.  It also provides free shuttle to the airport which may come in handy.

Two complaints about the maid service: on arrival, the ice bucket did not have a plastic liner.  On the 2nd day, they did nor provide new shampoo and conditioner.  I called the front desk to complain and they promptly bought  a bunch to our room.

p.s., courtyard never offers "free" breakfast, don't be fooled by the appearance to the contrary.  LOL.

This is your standard Courtyard Marriott and a decent room at a reasonable price.  I've stayed here twice, each time for several nights.  I can't say there was anything bad about the experience.

The room is clean and basically like every other Courtyard.  There's the bed with a nightstand on each side, a sofabed, a large desk with a TV at one end, desk/work area at the other, and a mini fridge in one of the cabinets.  They also have the standard iron and ironing board and the iron actually produces reasonable steam to get the wrinkles out.  The bathroom is quite spacious too.

They do include free Internet but it's wired not wireless, so if you want to sit on your bed and surf be sure to bring an extra long cable.  The speed is decent - about 60 KB/s downstream - or 10x dial-up.  Don't expect to crank anymore than that.

They also have a $10 breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruit, etc.  It's not amazing but it's serviceable and a handy time-saver if the morning.

One of my business trips got cut a day short.  I didn't know until 5 PM of the last night I was supposed to stay.  I called back later and asked if there was anyway they could wave the charges for the night.  That's against their policy but the manager was willing to give me a $50 credit anyways.  I thought that was a pretty nice move.

Don't think of the standard Courtyard when going here.  It is a building that is 8(?) stories high, and has a pretty large lobby.  I suppose that it was taken over by Marriott to be like this, but not why I book Courtyards.

Not bad, but ...

Just an ok Courtyard near LAX with nothing walking distance. Pros are a Ralph's and a gym about half block away.

Nice hotel, standard Courtyard look and feel. Updated rooms. Mini fridge. AC still loud, like other Courtyards. Sink is separate from toilet/shower, another standard Courtyard setup. The room door did have a high tension and slapped my arm a few times, bruising my finger on one occassion.

$88/nite for either a King or double-queen through Marriot's site.

Free parking, although there are signs that says Park at own risk.

Hotel is next to Mattel, no free toys for us tho.

Hotel is near Hwy 1, near Ralphs and other shops/stores, near LAX , etc.

Takes about 30min on Hwy 1 up to Malibu on a weekday morning, I'm sure 405N would have been horrible had we gone that way.

I'll stay here again.

This place was really hard to find.  I accidentally went to the one on Century Blvd first.  I got upgraded because the guy at the desk felt bad that I got lost and came in so late.  Thankfully they have free parking so I didn't have to mess with the hassle.  They also have some decent food so you don't have to go out if it's late at night.. I got a soup at hand and salad.

Even though the room was upgraded.. I wasn't really like wow.  I can't believe it cost $200.  The bed wasn't really luxurious and the room wasn't too updated.  Not impressed with the toiletries either.  They also told me there was a breakfast which I thought was free but beward it costs $9!!  And it's not even that good!!!  Beware.

I thought the room was average...nothing special, but not bad for $100 a night. I do have to say that in the book it says "join us for breakfast" until whatever time. I went down with 3 other people. There was no sign of price or anything, so we assumed it was a complimentary buffet. Once we saw the microwaved potatoes and microwaved bacon (warm pork jerky), we DEFINITELY thought it was free. That is until they slapped us with a $51 check. What the hell?? I just wanted to get up and walk out, but I had my son with me and my boyfriend had his brother. Didn't want to do something like that with children around. I have however contacted the hotel for a refund. I could have had a better AND CHEAPER meal...at Denny's.
