The Courtyard Marriott hotel in Woburn MA is about 20 minutes northeast of Boston. The hotel is very clean and the staff were extremely courteous. The bed was comfy as was the couch, but the TV in the room is a normal cathode ray, not a flatscreen LCD like I'm used to. I guess I'm just pampered.
The restaurant downstairs has fairly typical breakfast buffet fare, but since they charge $12 for a all you can eat breakfast, I only ate downstairs once. the rest of the times, I drove to the local Dunkin' Donut or Mickey D's for a much cheaper breakfast.
Still, it is a great hotel for the business traveler. Internet was free and I didn't have any problems with it. The hotel is very close to several restaurants, gas stations and the 93 expressway.

I have stayed here many, many times and overall it's a good place to sleep. Like all Marriotts, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and there are lots of places in the room to sit and work. They claim to cater to business travellers, and they really do. I've had occasional problems with the internet access (which is free, but you may need to provide your own ethernet cord). The exercise center is pretty minimal - there are treadmills, stairclimbers, and bikes, but no elliptical, and a set of freeweights, and a small mat for stretching. There's a pool and hot tub, both the average size for hotels of this type.
The main problem with the place is the location. Basically, I find that it's slightly miserable to stay here without having a car. There isn't much that you can walk to for food, and the in-house restaurant has very little selection at a fairly high price. They claim to offer a free shuttle service, especially to the 3-miles-away Anderson Station, which is a transit hub, but they don't have a dedicated driver, and there's often a very long wait. I often end up taking a cab to Anderson Station, which quickly becomes as expensive as a car rental. I always stay here because I work with one of the businesses on Unicorn Park Drive, but I keep wondering if it makes any sense to do that, since I find that I want to have a car on hand regardless. If I'm going to pay for a car rental while in town, I may as well stay someplace farther away but cheaper.
