I agree with Jess, this place is a maze; dont park on the other side of the hotel thinking you can cross over, because you can't! A bunch of us stayed here for a baseball tourney over the Labor Day weekend. Love the beds and the pillows and they have a nice patio area with a grill and tables. Staff was quite friendly and accomodating. Would have received more stars if it had a continential breakfast and an outdoor pool.

This Marriott is a MAZE. I stayed here on business and all I wanted was to find the gym! After wandering around the entire first floor looking for it I went to the front desk and even THEY had to think about it. Then after using the gym I used the closest elevator to get back to the third floor and I was trapped in the smoking wing! So I had to take the elevator back down to the first floor, walk all the way back around to the appropriate elevator, and finally I made it back to my room! Man! The breakfast here was the same as at any other Marriott. Although the pineapple was definitely canned instead of fresh (I swear I'm not that picky, you can just tell!). Also, it was a bad experience trying to get to my meeting in the morning! Roads in CT aren't labeled because they assume you know where you are! I would say I am never going back to Wallingford but I fear it might not be true. At least I will find a different hotel (one that I can't get lost in).
