Very comfy, clean, and convenient! Tons of parking, spacious rooms, and a very nice staff.
The fitness center here is also awesome. HD TVs, two treadmills, towel service, and water filter.
All told, very nice. Would return any time.
Ah, my first experience of Richmond was at this very Marriott.
It's very nice place. I totally enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the sweltering August weather. The room was smallish, but very clean and with a comfy bed. There was free internet, but no wi-fi. You have to connect by cable which is a pain. However, there are also two computers up-front with printers free of charge.
The rooms have been remodeled and they're clean, but the hotel as a whole feels a little run down. The lobby, hallways and elevator are dated and worn. Based on the public spaces, I was surprised at the room, although the bed has seen better days.
The front desk staff was efficient and helpful.
It's a steal for the $94 I paid, and for that price I'd come back. I was there for business, but it's not a place I'd pick for pleasure.
what the hell. how can you not have roomservice? oh, whats that? no kitchen!??! shit. where am i supposed to eat at 11pm at night? NOTHING IN VIRGINIA IS OPEN EXCEPT THE STRIP CLUB AND I REALLY DONT FEEL LIKE HOT WINGS!!
rooms are nice and clean but as you can see above, this place offers no roomservice and a minimal "mini mart" at the front desk in the lobby. definitely not a good idea to come here hungry. also, make sure you have a car when you stay at this hotel as walking to the nearest food is literally an uphill battle. sigh, why did i let the company book my room?
