Writing this on-location.
Exactly what you would expect from a Courtyard. No more, no less. The staff is very pleasant and efficient...this includes the front desk as well as housekeeping. The rooms are very clean and modern...everything I need while on business. I have free wi-fi, provided by the hotel, and it works flawlessly.
The location is convenient to the freeway and other points of interest in the area. UC Davis and Sac State are only a few minutes away.
Free coffee, tea (and me...just kidding!) and delicious cookies--taste fresh-baked--in the lobby; you'll find a nicely appointed business lounge which includes a long table with computers and printer serving as the "business center" and a separate area off to the side for sitting and relaxing in comfy chairs with a flat screen tv glowing in the background. The central area of the lobby is a cafe that serves food from (I believe) 6:30am until about 10.
The fitness center is a relatively small room with only cardio equipment (a couple treadmills, a couple ellipticals, and a bike). It was clean, had a working tv, and the machines are in good condition, so no complaints there. Would be nice if they had some weights or resistance machines.
The pool area outside is really inviting. Sort of a relaxing oasis with palm trees, plenty of clean towels and lounge chairs.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I have another meeting in the area.
