My husband and I needed to stay in Pleasanton..so we researched Yelp for Motel recommendations, and we decided to give this Courtyard by Marriott's a try. We were NOT disappointed.
Our room was on the first floor...not only was it quiet but spotlessly clean. The room was very large and nicely furnished with two queen beds, beautiful bedding and plenty of fluffy pillows too. We also had a small refrigerator.
The motel is close to everything and we ate dinner at the restaurant next door 'Eddie Papa's which is a review in itself.
The Marriott's breakfast buffet and waitress service was excellent.
We highly recommend staying here.
This used to be a Holiday Inn. It's so much nicer now.
While the decor of the lobby is interesting, it's a bit impersonal.
The rooms are all new and very comfortable and roomy. We asked for a room with a king, and they accidentally put us in a room with two beds. We immediately went down and they fixed it FAST. No fuss, no attitude.
Room service was fast and friendly, too.
The pool area is spacious with very nice lounges and hot tub, and a privacy fence.
We'll definitely be back.

If you're staying here eat here too! Clean, rooms and the suites are huge. Stayed here for a festival and had a party in one of the 2/3 bdr suites. The next day got free tickets for a lavish breakfast with mimosa. Awww I want to go back! :(
This place is great for the price. BF went on http://Priceline.com and booked the room for $44.00 a night, the reg. price is like almost $80. Thats cheaper then Motel 6! The room is nice and the beds are all fluffy. AND the internet works in the room. Wired but thats cool, not like I'm walkin around with the laptop. The only bad thing is the location, you have to make a u-turn at a traffic signal that takes FOR-ever, you know one of those 12 way 12 lane signals. Thats the only way to access the driveway to the place. Down for the weekend and some warmer weather...70 degrees in Jan.!! This priceline thing works great, but you don't get to pick which exact hotel you will get, just the general area. The last Marriott we got didn't have internet in the room, I had to go to the lobby for wireless...so go to priceline if you want a great deal on the rates.

I stayed here to be closer to work for a week. While my room was a lot nicer than I had anticipated, it was on the third floor and the elevator was on the OTHER side of the building. Don't get me wrong... the stairs were perfectly fine.... except for when I was 'moving in' and 'moving out'.... if you know what I mean. I never had to bother the desk for anything other than my checking in. It was nice and quiet and conveniently located to pretty much anything I needed.
But I do have to mention the furnishings again. The linens were wonderful and the choices of colors were very pleasing to the eyes. It had a nice sized desk for your laptop and such. The vanity area was seperate from the shower and toilet and had the perfect amount of room. My balcony had a view of the parking lot and buildings behind.
I would stay here again if need be.

My family and I stayed here for one night. I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, the comfort of the beds and the overall service. It is conveniently located near the freeway but you are shielded from any noise.
Very nice Hotel. The rooms was like new and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The grounds and pool area are very well kept. Stayed two nights and have no complaints. Really enjoyed my stay.
