I really enjoyed my stay at the Marriott in Dothan. I stayed there for a church conference and there customer service was outstanding. My computer needed repairs while we were at the hotel and we had to get a part sent to use and they called us when it was ready and didn't make us feel like we were bothering them. I loved this hotel. I would love to stay there again. This is probably one of the top Marriott ive stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of Marriott. They made us feel like we were at home. I loved the crowd there. It was a nice experience.

Typical Marriott, typical Courtyard. Don't see anything different from the 100's of Marriott's I stay in across the country. Overall a good experience. I am staying here while in Dothan for work this weekend.
It is a little hard to find and is in what the locals call the circle area. It is located behind a couple of fast food restaurants (taco bell, Atlanta bread company) and next to a Fairfield Inn.
Indoor pool and a small workout area. So not much for laying out in the sun. Beach is about an hour away in Panama City FL.

Relatively speaking, this place deserves two stars, but when compared to the rest of the world, they need some help.  Pillows are terrible, the bathrooms are lackluster and dark, but the rooms are fairly spacious for what you pay.  Every once in a while they'll have free apples in the front, though most of them are inedible.  The breakfast buffet was artery-cloggin' awful and cost nearly $10-12 a head.
