Very Clean and freindly staff. Close to 95 and between DC and Baltimore.
I would definately stay here again. The staff was most helpful. This is a credit to the Marriott chain. Keep up the good work.

This hotel looks nice from the outside and has been remodeled inside with modern furniture, but that is where it stops earning stars.

This isn't a hotel where you come in through the lobby and go to your room.  Some rooms are best accessed from the outside corners of the building.  Maybe it is a little snooty of me, but I like to go lobby and up to my room.  I think it is a nice touch.

And it is the little touches that get this hotel in trouble.

My room has a heating unit that is built into the wall.  When I first checked in, it was shut off and the cold air from outside was sneaking its way in.  Maryland in January is cold! And so was my room.

My room has an armoire - I think it is a pretty cool piece of furniture.  However, my 5 days worth of clothes fill it.  There isn't enough space for two peoples' stuff, if my wife were to have come.

The gym in the hotel stinks - not smells bad, like some small cramped hotel gyms do, but it has two treadmills (one of which is broken), a bike and a stairstepper in a tiny room.  Stretched out, that last sentence wouldn't have been able to squeeze into the room too.  I ran outside.  It wasn't too cold, but there were no sidewalks (not the hotel's fault).

Now, the little faults really stand out.  No hotel bar.  There is a mirror on the bathroom door, positioned that when I sit on the toilet, I'm staring at my self on the toilet.

Not my choice in hotels, although my company gets a pretty good rate here.

Update: As I'm setting my alarm to wake me up tomorrow, it reminded me: my wake up call was 10 minutes late!  Thank you Motorola for putting an alarm on my phone!

I stayed here about a year ago.  It is a standard Courtyard: decent rooms, free internet, and a pay breakfast buffet.  Great for the business traveler, but generally not a place for a leisure stay.

Not a bad hotel, but nothing special.  Staff was friendly and the room clean.  Nothing very fancy, but everything you need for a quick one night stay.  My one complaint was the air conditioning unit - it didn't work well and made the room very humid.  This is the second time I've had this issue with a Courtyard and I'm beginning to think they bought all their ACs from the same crappy manufacturer.
