Summary based on several business stays:
--free parking
--free *wired* Internet
--$10 buffet breakfast (there are nearby alternatives; no comp breakfast for *any* Marriott loyalty program level)
--Friendly, helpful staff
--Aircon/heat unit somewhat noisy
--Lighting ok in rooms. Kinda dim on corridors.
--Hallways smell, though it's not terrible
--no video surveillance of adjoining parking lot to the north. Some jerk did a hit and run on my car parked in the lot and got away clean. Front desk staff was helpful in dealing with the aftermath.

Was in LA for business and stayed at Courtyard by Marriott. Centrally located with easy access to the Freeway, this hotel was very convenient for my business needs. They have plenty of parking and restaurants within walking distance. Checking in was a breeze as they had all my information all set to go.
The hotel is similar to other Courtyards I've stayed at, nice floor design and a clean hotel. I got my room and while it was clean, it's a bit dated compared to other courtyards. The TV was the old CRT version and WiFi wasn't available though they do have your typical LAN available with cable. The room was clean with a decent size queen hotel, desk, and a nice size sofa and lounge chair.
The bathroom is 2 separate rooms with the sink being on the outside and the bathroom and toilet in another room. Had coffee maker and a mini fridge too. I only had a chance to walk by their gym, and it was very small but would do in a pinch. The lounge are is nice and they serve breakfast here in the morning for about $10.
Overall, it was good. Yes I would stay here again, but I'm not doing back flips either. Cost was about $120 and it was a decent enough stay. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Overall a decent 3 Star rating for this Courtyard.
I would probably give this place only 2 stars but a few of the helpful staff and the breakfast earns an extra star. Its only a few exits away from Disneyland and from the Honda Center, which is why I chose it. (UFC and Disneyland weekend)
Upon arrival we were given a room that smelled like someone just smoked a doobie in it. Since Marriott advertises itself as a smoke-free property, and smoking in your room will get you a $250 charge, we asked for another room. They gave us a handicap enabled room, which the bathrooms smelled like someone took 5 bong hits and hit the pizzo in. So again we asked to be moved, she offered us a suite, then realized it was not ready, so she had the room we were going to move to, checked cleaned and had me take a look before moving. Seemed OK, except for the big ass cricket in the bathroom... I said F it and flushed the cricket and took the room.
The next day we went to Disneyland and found they do not have a shuttle, but they do sell tickets at a discounted rate.
***I may have been double charged for this room and pending the investigation, after specific instructions I will update the score*****
Look out for the fat guy that works the desk that looks like he's wearing an extra medium suit, he knows nothing about whats going on.

I stayed here for two-nights. Despite the weird side entrance where the stairs were at one door, but the elevator was at the other door and trying to lug all your stuff finding where the elevator was, well... good thing an employee was walking around.
Check-in/out was a breeze, parking was plentiful, got a upper floor w/ balcony, nothing really wrong with the room, although the bathroom door latch sticks but easily fixable.
Mini fridge in-room.
Near to Knotts, but didn't go.
Off the 91 and one exit from 5. About 20min from Irvine.
I'll book this place again.
