The room was clean enough and all, but I was completely bummed out not to have hot water. It got warm-ish, but not much more. That stinks when all you want is a hot shower on a cold day!

Any Marriott hotel you visit may be just the same as the one you visited elsewhere.
Essentially, when it comes down to it, the service is what sets apart nearly every hotel. I was checked in around 4am to a desk attendant that did not look pleased to be working there. After being given the wrong key, she was not apologetic in the least and came off as I was bothering her nap more than anything else.
When i woke up from my nap, I had made my bed and tidied up for my forthcoming trip. The showers heated up quickly. There is not enough room to make a cheap sauna, though if you open up the shower door and sit on the toilet, you'll be toasty in about five minutes or so.
Housekeeping was standard- you use a brand new bar of soap on Saturday, you come back Saturday evening and you get a new one.
