History
Established in 1980
Coupon Country was there at the beginning, in 1980, when the idea of a 'marriage mailing' was developed, whereby any number of businesses could combine in a single mailer to save on the high postage costs. Direct mail had always been regarded as the most effective, but costly 'straight line' targeted advertising, but most small businesses could not afford it until now.
Coupon Country was the first and remains the only coupon book mailer in the SF East Bay Area with free standing coupons in full color , key to attracting attention. People look for these mailers in their mail boxes and businessess readily see the results from redeemed coupons.
