Naaah. This place is Denny's Lite or Denny's Plus, depending on whether you are talking about the calories or the flavor. It is 0.5 International Denny Units better than Denny's.
The ollalieberry (http://en.wikipedia.or...) crepes are decent. The apple-cinnamon waffle was smothered in cold applesauce and the chef's creamy sauce (no cows were disturbed during the production of this item). The waffle itself is crispy. Flavor ain't bad (gotta use 'ain't' in this review given the ambiance of the place).
Eggs are bland and bacon is crispy.
To summarize: nursing home decor, nursing home clientele, and Denny's Plus.
PS - Staff are nice.

This is another breakfast place that I truly enjoy. It's clean, the service is good and the food is above par: especially the breakfasts. Not to say the rest is bad, but I love breakfasts. Especially a good breakfast. And this place serves up an excellent breakfast at a very affordable price. I would suggest the family breakfast on a Sunday, but do expect crowds and a short wait. That should give you some idea of the quality of the food and service. A family of 4 with beverage and tip can get out of here under $40 without much sacrifice to the amount of food you'd want to satisfy your hunger. Service can be slow when they open at 6am, as it starts to get busy rather quickly with the "AM Regulars". The chicken fried steak is one of my favorites. But watch the menu, as it's on there twice and there is a price difference, and even your waitress will comment on that fact. One has 2 eggs and the other has 3 eggs, so be specific when you order. Very family oriented, but you will find an "older crowd" there most weekends, but it's not a problem. It's rather like "Cheers" in a family sort of way. Excellent coffee. Good portions, and wonderful people. It's my second favorite place for breakfast after Rosie's (see that review). Dig in and enjoy...

Wow no one came in here during 07? Too bad because their food is great. Whether you want to go sweet with a variety of waffles or savory with their different breakfast meals or even a combination of both, like Pacino the world is yours and that at a small price. I think some people get misled by places that seem to be frequented by seniors and take it as hey I'm too young to be seen in there but this place is something all ages can enjoy. Ok ok they do have a senior menu but I'm not kidding you when I say the food is great for waffle lovers and breakfast people alike. I'm personally not a waffle person but friends I have brought here have enjoyed them and the meals I get which usually include potatoes, eggs, and some type of sausage are definitely a step up from what you get at Denny's and at the same price if not cheaper. Don't fear the old people the food is good! Only downside on the weekend mornings especially Sunday there could be a wait but it's never too long. Service is great, food is served fast, and price is cheap don't let this stay a hidden gem!

Had a great breakfast here earlier. Its official, breakfast is the hardest meal to order for... way too many choices.
The waitress who served us, Michelle, was very friendly and made us feel at home. Everyone loved their breakfast. The "Tooti Frutie" was a waffle (which are all really good, thus the name of the place) where you can pick your fruit topping and its topped with whipped topping (better than regular whipped cream) and vanilla ICE CREAM. I must admit it was more like dessert than breakfast, it should be illegal. The caramel pecan waffle was equally as good, it had bananas on top. And I had biscuits and gravy, which was worth all the calories it consisted of.
Breakfast here is my new guilty pleasure.
Note: You will not stink coming out of this place like you do when you leave Pancake Circus or some Dennys, haha. Also, they close at 2:30pm on Sundays, I'm not sure what their hours are for other days.

I had the Olalla Waffles (huge waffle topped with blackberry and raspberry). Had to be one of the greatest breakfast spots I've been too. I had a bit of their potatoes too which was very well seasoned - it was soft and looked like it was boiled or baked and seared on a pan to give the outer part a bit of a crunch. I was debating whether to get what i actually got or the swedish pancakes or the pigs in a blanket. Next time I go, I'll have to try those next.
Great homely service and at a timely manner. Prices are moderate and parking is plenty.
