Charles the manager here is awesome.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the beds are ridiculously comfy, 3 showtime stations for those who need some skin flicks at 1 AM.
Ask nicely and you might be able to stay in the hottub after hours and watch out for the grill back there, some grub might be coming your way!
Great hotel for a good price right in the heart of rancho mirage, walking distance to a ton of good places to eat and drink.

This place looks nice from the outside. It's located next to The River which is a hustlin' and bustlin' new shopping center in Rancho Mirage. I couldn't believe how many cars were in the parking lot... it looked like Christmas in September for those guys. Anyways, the service level was good. Yuiko-san had us checked into out rooms in no time. It was also a nice bonus for my inlaws to be able to handle anything they needed in Japanese. As for the rooms themselves, they're average. As Aaron R. noted, the beds aren't too comfy. But for $89 a night, it was better than a Days Inn or any of those other cheapy chains. I doubt we'd stay here again once the Agua Caliente Casino finishes building their hotel. 2 stars for the room, and a bonus star for Yuiko's service.
