Good lodging at an affordable price. The hotel is close to downtown and the U.S. Marine Corps, making in it a popular choice for families coming for the cadets graduation.

Pros:
-If you have a car the location is perfect. You're close to at all major roads leading to Hunting Island, Port Royal, or Edisto Island, yet within minutes from historic Beaufort and Waterfront Park shopping.

-Continental breakfast was not that bad (other places give you yucky coffee and last week doughnuts). It had cereals, bagels, muffins, waffles, fresh fruits and yogurt and a passable coffee.
Added bonus (my 4 years old favorite that I used it as "be a good girl" bribe) free oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. Every morning, before starting on a new adventure, she'll eat her cookie and I'll read the complimentary USA Today in the dinning room.

-Clean rooms, free high speed Internet, relatively quiet.

Cons:
-The indoor pool was closed during our stay (May)
- Don't hold your breath about the room...you get the basics, the bed is so-so, pretty small. However you'll always get my vote when the place is clean.
