It was right near the Hilton Garden Inn I was staying at in Marysville.  I read the other reviews and the pork ribs fell off the bone, the bbq chicken moist and the pulled pork was only okay.

My first time having the BBQ slaw (vinegar base) it was great.  The hush puppies were small and light.

The service was pretty good considering that I was one of the only two patrons / groups.

Alot of people like it, It's just not my style of barbecue.  If you like the barbecue slaw and runny vinegary sauce you will probably like this.  I prefer Shanes Rib Shack personally.  But this place is always busy.

This place is heaven! I fell in love the first time my fiance brought it home. The sauce is unbelievable! We love it so much we're having them cater our wedding!

Vinegar sauce and a "Lexington style" BBQ. Best hushpuppies I've had yet. Doesn't  beat Dreamland in Alabama but I'll come back! Large selection of sides that won't leave you hungry. Of note- the chopped pork is a fine chop. Be sure and try the ribs!

I stopped by on a recent trip to the Carolinas. I grew up on Texas brisket, but wanted to give Carolina style a try, since I'd heard a lot about it and was a little curious about the chopped pork and  vinegar sauce thing. I wasn't disappointed. The BBQ was exceptional and I "get it" now (not that it will replace my brisket, but still). The hushpuppies were also fantastic, and the sweet tea was very good. I tried my wife's BBQ chicken and it was nice and tender, but not in the same league as the pork. The slaw was soaked in BBQ and tasted good, though I do like my slaw a little chunkier. We had peach cobbler for dessert. It wasn't bad, but I do think the peaches probably came from a can.

Anyway, the critisms are pretty minor, and I would absolutely recommend this place. It's definitely in the same league as some of the better places I used to go to in Texas.

Prices seemed good to me, though being an out of towner I'm not a very good judge of the going rate in Greensboro, NC.

Amazing. My favorite BBQ place on earth. And, note to the Boston folks who try to do BBQ: this place only has ONE sauce.

They have huge pork biscuits in the morning. You will slap your mama they're so good.  I prefer the chopped pork sandwiches. And the sauce! THE SAUCE. The best damn sauce I've ever tasted. I ain't lying. When I come home from Boston, I take this stuff back with me. That's right--quarts of it, to go, and gallons of the sauce. I even buy the bread. That's right. Even Boston bread don't taste as good.

And the best sweet tea too. Huge, sugared down, refreshing. I'm crying now I miss it so much!

Came here for breakfast with some friends who recommended it. The biscuits are HUGE! Go for a Tenderloin egg & cheese, you won't be disappointed.

I was in High Point, NC for a week on business.  This place was recommended to me by a local and wow!  I'm originally from Dallas, Texas so I'm big on BBQ, but in the South we don't have BBQ coleslaw!  It was amazing here!  The hushpuppies were awesome too!  Very light and non-greasy.  I also had a BBQ sliced Pork sandwich, but I'm more of a beef brisket fan.  It wasn't bad though!

Fantastic!  Driving up I saw an amazing sign that said "authentic southern bbq."  This place oozes southern bbq at its best.  The sauce is vinegar based and works well with either the mild or the spicy additional sauce.  The best bet is the 7.25 special that includes pulled pork, hush puppies, slaw, fries, and a drink. The service was good but they are a busy place so don't expect a ton of attention.  Go there for the food and enjoy every bite!

For a wayward denizen of Los Angeles, stumbling upon a place like Country Barbecue is kind of like a carnivorous rapture.  To have a paper plate mounded with a delicious trifecta of meats slid in front of you for less than ten bucks is truly a giddy experience.  I opted for a combo plate consisting of the chopped pork (pork shoulder), spareribs, and, just for the heck of it, chicken.  The ribs had that great consistency where the bone just falls from the meat with a gentle twist, a quality surprisingly rare in BBQ joints on the West Coast.  The chopped pork was incredibly moist, a quality that belied it's countless hours of smoking and cooking.  The chicken was quite moist with a good taste of smoke, but I kind of wished I had tried another one of the pork or beef options instead.  The slaw and beans were good, with the beans carrying that extra taste of pork fat that just raises the bar.

And the hush puppies... my God what the hell are those things?  It's a good thing I don't have them around to eat regularly, as I think I would quickly have trouble walking unassisted and fitting into pants that are not converted king sized bedsheets.

There's just something about eating BBQ in the slightly humid North Carolina summer night, with the glare of bank fluorescents reflecting off the faux wood paneled linoleum tables as a still in high school waitress tops your styrofoam cup with a splash of sweet tea that is just gloriously awesome.  I'll look forward to returning someday and sampling more...
