My mom really likes this little tourist shop in Huntington Beach. The guy who runs it is really nice, and they have a fun assortment of beach-related stuff. I bought a postcard for C. and checked out their current stock of pirate gifts -- including a pirate rubber duck -- beach-themed signs, and shells. Some of the shells were imported from the Philippines. Couldn't they source their shells locally? Fun, but not awesome.
