Neighborhood: MemorialThe only downside is the construction on I-10 which forces you to exit three exits early in order to access Costco.
The biggest reason I hit Costco is for their meat selection and wine prices, they often rival Spec's in value and there are usually some interesting wines to try. The meat is always fresh and priced just right.
I can never get out of here spending less than $200.
The membership is worth the price, just be warned that the only credit card they accept is Amex.

Typical Costco. Low prices, decent selection. Their produce is often either molding or rock-hard and unripe. But really, who buys produce from Costco anyway? This is the kind of place that you get electronics or suitcases or paper towels, but buying food from here can be kinda sketchy. After all, you get what you pay for and who wants to put cheap crap in their body? But there can be some good buys: chips, oatmeal, anything you know you'll eventually go through so it ends up being better to buy in bulk.

Great place.
They have the lowest prices on everything they carry. And everything they carry is of superior quality. Great samples, too.
Best place to buy your tires. Price and service is unbeatable. They will Rotate & Balance for free whenever you want. They also inflate your tires with Nitrogen, which is a huge Plus.
The food court is awesome. For $1.50 you can get a Hotdog/PolishSausage+Drink or a huge slice of delicious pizza. There's also other good things they serve, such as the berry thing as mentioned before. Tip: The food place takes cash only, so if all you have is plastic, pay for what you want when you check-out with your CC (AmEx) and bring the receipt there.
Don't come when they're closing up shop. They want you out of there when it's time to close up shop. If you come right at closing, right on the dot, you'll be TURNED AWAY. But that's your fault.
Get the Executive membership ($100) to get 2% back on your purchases. This adds up if you plan to buy pricey things.
The check-out lines can be kind of long at times.
Oh, and they have the LOWEST GAS PRICES ANYWHERE.
Also, when you add the 2%-Back into the equation, it's an additional 6c/gal lower. If, say, you fill up a 20gal tank every 2 weeks, you'll receive $125 back at year's end, which more than pays for your membership!
All-in-all, a well-run operation.

This beats Sam's Club hands down but you'll need the Costco membership card. Of course, it helps to live near Costco too since so far as of September 24, 2005, there's only 2 Costco's in the entire city and that sucks. If you're far away, then maybe the drive isn't worth it, especially considering the fact that it's right by Katy Freeway which is almost always congested.
Pros: nice greeters, good warranty plans, good quality products (some being upscale), good prices, good berry shake :-D
