If you are a health freak, try their turkey wrap. Full of turkey, minimal mayo and fresh lettuce and juicy tomatoes. Good for something to fill you up. ;P

Never been a member. I just go here for the food. Love the hotlinks/hotdog whatever they're called there and the pizza. Cheap lunch!
I'm a Costco child and will not make any amends to detract that statement. Yes, the umbilical cord has never been released from the wholesale bulk mentality that I know I was born with.
That being said, I do make occasional runs to this location because of the close proximity to the highway and abundant parking.
I've been here to pick up gallons of ice cream, paper plates, plastic forks and spoons, paper napkins, and the ubiquitous large sheets of frosted cakes up the ying yang (hey, birthdays are rampant!!) Easy layout of the store although I found manuevering my big butt around the baked items area a bit founding, but either way, good bulk materials and foodstuffs within reach and affordable.
My fave, is their chicken Caesar salad, a large mess of good romaine, parmesan cheese, and strips of grilled chicken, in a large plastic container, priced at $3.79. What a steal.
Be ready for the lunch crowd lines, though. They become a bit long with all the other working people hitting this place up.

The one thing that seems to be better than some of the other Costco is the produce. I will bring cherries, plums, apples to my friends who also shop at Costco. They will ask, "Where did you get this?" I tell them Costco in RC and they say their produce is never as good.
Who doesn't love Costco? I've been a card-carrying member for years, even when some of them were Price Clubs (remember those?).
I like to go to the Rancho Cordova Costco because it is near work and not nearly as crowded as the Cal Expo warehouse. This is the cheapest place for pizza, bar none, when the boss is treating the troops for a meeting. I will pre-order about 45 minutes beforehand on the phone (the Costco Food Court number is (916) 724-2248), tell them what time I need them ready, then shoot on over. The trick here is that you pay for the food at the cashier in the warehouse where it might be easier to find a short line around lunchtime. Then, armed with your receipt, you can circumvent the queue of hungry-mungries who are desperately waiting for their chance to order a $1.50 hot dog and soft drink combo. You go straight to the pick-up window and claim your stack of pies.
Pizzas are around 10 bucks each for the only size (large). I don't think there's any difference in price whether you get cheese, pepperoni, combo, or veggie combo. Costco keeps it simple!
