Not sure if it's the location or what but blah. My pork was cold and had no flavor. I thought pork salad would be a staple that was always good--definitely wrong.

We walked in and the gentleman behind the counter asked what we were having so that he could make us FRESH tortillas.
I had questions about the different salsas and sauces and he was so friendly and knowledgeable about it all.
The lady behind the register was so happy, she was bubbly and enjoyable to be around.
The food is always delicious at Costa Vida and this location was no different. I got introduced to the manga salsa on this visit, and it was fantastic!
The staff made a beautiful culinary masterpiece that I enjoyed devouring.
The restaurant was clean and had a fun environment, the music was tasteful and at an appropriate level.
I will return to this location.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rick F.South Jordan, UT03Apr 15, 2024

I've been here a few times in the past couple of months and it's terrible.
The kitchen is completely disorganized and a giant cluster with slow slow service. My burrito was passed along several hands and sat on the counter while people shouted at each other. Long wait for cold mediocre food. Bad bad bad and sad of obvious no support from ownership. Not coming back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben B.Riverton, UT18168280Mar 11, 2023
We go to CostaVida at least twice a month. I often times will hit it another 3 to 5 times a month when working downtown. We enjoy the food. This location drives me crazy! I understand we are in a inflation crisis but they have pulled back so far on the amount of food they provide it is almost funny. A small salad now has less meat, beans, and rice than a kids meal. The employees are so meticulous about the amount they are providing. They even have measuring cups. I've challenged them a few times on it and they are doing just what they are told. I think we will finally go out of our way to a different location..

You guys c'mon if i could no star this I would. I used to come here for pretty often and even vote for costa over cafe rio... but this is probably the 6th time my order has been messed up. ALSO these burritos taste like crap. I mean that's got to be one of the soggiest burritos I've ever had. Might as well have been a doughy tortilla. It was so tasteless, soggy, and cold we tossed it out.

I was excited to get a free drink with my grilled chicken salad dinner tonight. When I got to the checkout I was told they couldn't give it to me because I ordered a LARGE salad. That logic doesn't make any sense to me. The teenager behind the counter should have offered to give me the sting any way

I'm not ever coming here again. You are charging full prices for half a meal. I ordered a pulled pork burrito and the thing literally has maybe 2oz of meat on it. You remind me of a cafe zupas and their spoon shake. You start with something acceptable and then you shake/put all of the ingredients back trying to conserve. I hope this location closes and a real restaurant opens up that is worth a damn. It's funny reading everyone else's reviews. It's the same constant complaint. You make cafe rio look really really good!

They started measuring the amount of meat the give you and gave a really small portion. Also the lady serving me grabs her headset with her gloves on and didn't switch gloves. Really poor service as well. Wouldn't recommend. It's a shame because Costa vida has been my favorite for a while and it's no longer very good

I ordered online and my food was ready in less than the 15 minutes they said it would be. My food was on a table for online orders with my name on it so I simply walked in, grabbed my food, and walked out. No need to even talk to anyone! I love the raspberry sauce on the raspberry chipotle chicken. Sweet and fruity and a little spicy. I also love that it's gluten and dairy free! Costa Vida is great about keeping gluten out of your food if you request it.
