Neighborhood: CoronadoDowntown San Diego Skyline at it's finest.
People watching, have a picnic, take out of town guests or even family, take a date here. Ooo so pretty.
Park near the park area, near the bridge. But you'll have to walk past the Marriott but there's ample parking there and a playground for the kiddos. There's more parking that's actually part of the Ferry Landing area. But some is reserved for the restaurants and some is reserved for ferry riders. Other than that it's free! and if you park at the meters outside 25 cents is already a hour, unlike some places where 25 cents is only 15 minutes.
It's rather picturesque.
You can swim in the water but eh...I wouldn't.
There's a bunch of tourist shops maybe some overpriced retaurants, 1.25 for water at the coffee cart.
P.S. The pigeons are friendly and won't go away.

Talk about a nice place! The coronado ferry landing is seriously one of the most spectacular places in SD because of its city view and its restaurants. I highly recommend Il Fornaio if you are looking to splurge. Their brunch is delicious! If you are on a budget they have a new Thai cafe that is fast and really good. Spiro's Gyros is also one of my favorites. The gyro platter is quite good.
After dining, I suggest taking a walk by the bay. It will not only help the digestion but also refresh to the soul.
