This place is amazing!  I had my first experience here when I picked up some popcorn for my husband's Christmas gift. He's a popcorn fanatic! I've really never tasted popcorn so good, not even close. We're now addicted and I have a feeling we'll be spending way too much money here now.  (But it is worth the money!)

I tried several of the flavors available for sampling, but ultimately settled on a bag each of - salted toffee, s'mores, dill pickle, and veggie green corn.  My bag of salted toffee was actually still warm when they bagged it.  It was that fresh!  I tasted a bite and would have eaten the whole bag if it had not been a gift for somebody else! It was so crazy good fresh and still really good when we tasted it later.  The s'mores was super tasty and really has that s'mores feel to it, in popcorn form, complete with graham cracker pieces, chocolate drizzle, mini marshmallows, and sweet popcorn.  The dill pickle had a really good flavor at first, but then got too salty for my palate. Lastly, the veggie green corn was just as wonderful as everybody says.  I could snack on that all day every day.  It's now my life's mission to figure out exactly what is in that stuff so that I can put it on everything I eat!!

The only bad thing I can say about this place is the location isn't great.  Parking is sparse but the popcorn is TO DIE FOR!!!  It is so YUMMY!  This is popcorn like you've never tasted before.  It is utterly delicious!

There are some "regular" things and not so regular things on the menu.  You can have cheddar popcorn, jalapeno cheddar, chocolate covered popcorn and all sorts of YUMMY varieties.  You can taste before you buy.

Definitely worth trying out and returning over and over and over again.

I'm obsessed with popcorn. When popcorn is around, I am flat out Lucille Ball in that episode where she works in the chocolate factory. Because of this, I can confirm that Cornucopia is a place for friends!

Before I'd been to Cornucopia, I'd been restricted to just plain buttered popcorn and the Chester Cheeto's white cheese popcorn. Cornucopia taught me a lesson. I've since understood that popcorn is not limited.

I don't even think that I pronounce popcorn correctly anymore since I've been to Cornucopia. Make this your next gift.

This is a little hole in the wall shop tucked into a row of little shops.  I really like the idea of being able to try a product before you commit to buying.  Here, you have the opportunity to sample a large number of flavors.

Let's get to the point.  The bad....parking as with most places downtown is horrid.  The good-the popcorn, free samples, the service, the prices.  I was very pleased with this place and I'd love to go back!

Another gem that makes Austin Austin. This little great store is packed full of popcorn flavors that most people have never heard of or even thought of trying before. The great thing about this place is that they let you mix or I should say, stack different flavors on top of each other in bags.

This place is located near campus next to the McDonalds with the Longhorn outside. When you walk inside you will find a wall of different flavors that they have to offer. You can ask to sample any flavor and then take your pick. The nice thing about this place is that you can get them in all sorts of sizes or packages, even gift sets for people.

My favorite here was the pizza and dill pickle flavors. The chocolate ones are very sweet but also very messy. I am sure by now they have added lots more flavors to their list and will continue to add more as the time passes.

    Keep up the great work!

So if your looking for another cool place to check out in Austin, stop on by, say hello and ask to try a flavor of popcorn you didn't think was possible. Don't worry, you can thank me later that I told you about this place. ;-)

Every once in a while, someone will mail me a single popcorn kernel that didn't pop. I'll get out a fresh kernel, tape it to a piece of paper and mail it back to them.

Is there another space in Austin that you can walk into and be utterly saturated with delightful smells--the intoxicating smells that sway your entire plan for the day, the smells that permeate your clothes--without you regretting it later?

We sashayed in from a typically amazing lunch at Veggie Heaven (a few doors down) and were met with a carnival of popcorn. As a child of the 70s, you'd think I'd appreciate the whole Willy Wonka aesthetic. Pickle popcorn! Biscuits and gravy popcorn! Unicorn farts popcorn!

I never cared much for that Gene Wilder movie, and the Johnny Depp version was even more boring. But sign me up for a double dose of the unicorn farts popcorn, because this stuff is truly tasty. The gal working the counter was a wizard behind the curtain, ready to produce any insane flavor our hearts could divine. For real--we took away dill pickle popcorn, chocolate/cherry popcorn, and birthday cake popcorn, and all of it was fantastic.

The Go Local card scored us an additional kids-size bag, and even without it the price was great.

Cornucopia Popcorn Creations has tons of flavors, most of them there for you to sample in the store. I highly recommend them as a pit-stop on your way to a house party, even if the "house party" is just a night at home. Show up with a bag of this stuff and you will leave on the shoulders of all who enjoyed it.

I am frugal and I love the popcorn I make at home, so I don't typically frequent ready-made popcorn places.  But I tried some samples of Cornucopia's wares at an event not long ago, and loved it so much that I popped in (ahem) to take a gander yesterday.

Flavors of every imaginable variety lined the walls (Dill pickle! Madras curry! S'mores! Birthday cake!), and you could serve yourself samples to your heart's content. I sampled like mad, and finally settled on a bag of pesto and a bag of their veggie corn which, despite its rather unexpected dark green color, tastes AMAZING. I actually think it is my favorite of all, despite the many other delightful flavors vying for the #1 spot in my heart.

I agree with the other reviewers that the prices here are a bit on the spendy side - $2.25 for basically a sandwich bag full of corn.  However, they occasionally run coupon deals with Groupon, Scoutmob, etc., and you can also garner yourself some discounts with a GoLocal card, or by buying a tin from them, which entitles you to 50% off refills.

Service was very nice, although they probably could have used a second employee on a game day Saturday.  It was worth the wait, though; I left with enough fluffy, crunchy, flavorful goodness to keep me snack-happy for days.  Colonel Sanders, move over - there's a new kernel in town.

I am grateful to Cornucopia, in part,  for helping to make my niece's quincenera the hit that it was!

I was in charge of the desserts and I chose to set up a candy/popcorn buffet. It is really hard to find purple colored sweets!

Cornucopia was helpful from the first phone call. I told them what I wanted and they took over from there. All I had to do was state what shade of purple and what flavor I wanted for the popcorn. I chose a medium shade of purple in caramel corn.

They suggested the party bag which only set me back $40...a great deal!

I was ecstatic when I saw the bag of popcorn! It was the perfect shade of purple, the pefect consistency (it did not stick together), the perfect amount, and it was in a cool easy to carry bag.

I was even more ecstatic when I tasted the popcorn!! It was delicious! It was crisp, a little salty, and a lot sweet (but not syrupy sweet)...soooooo good!!

Everyone at the party loved it. The leftovers went home with party goers in plastic baggies. People were still raving about the popcorn the next week.

    It was GOOD!

    Thank you, Cornucopia!!

Pretty good popcorn but above average price. I've had a couple flavors but nothing worth the steep price they charge you for any size. The location for cornucopia is hella sketchy, but you should be fine in the light of day.

Nice to come get some popcorn here if you have some cash to burn.

I have to write a review because my sister is addicted to this stuff. Literally. She's living with me for a while, and I'm assuming it's because of this popcorn.

Now, I like it. I can get through a kid's bag and be sated for at least a month, though, because the best kind, which is always the chocolate-flavored, is a little too sweet for me by the end of the bag. The go local gets you a great deal, a free kid's bag with any purchase. Cornucopia really changes some people's lives though, maybe yours!

This place is so much fun!  They've been around for a few years and recently obtained numerous sampling dispensers so you dont have to keep asking the girl behind the counter to try any of their 40+ flavors.  They are always coming up with new ones.  My absolute favorite is loaded baked potato.  My daughter loves Smores.

It's a little pricey but can be worth it when you go on days when they give free kid-size bags.  Also, if you purchase a small tin for $15, you get refills for $7.50.  Makes a great gift!  Ya cant go wrong!

Being a picky popcorn person, I approached the samples with my admittedly cynical bias. However, after tasting the birthday cake, dill pickle, Mexican hot chocolate, etc. I couldn't leave with less than 3 bags of various flavors.

For as long as people enjoy popcorn at any capacity, this business will be providing the world with crunchy morsels of tasty joy!

We walking along Guadalupe getting back to our car, and I saw a sign that said something about gourmet popcorn. Without even saying a word to my hubby I turned and started walking immediately towards it. I'm a big fan of popcorn. If I see a kettle corn salesman... I'm powerless to resist. Here you can taste test seamingly endless varieties. We ended up with curry, green, thin mint, and jalapeño cheddar popcorns to bring home.

And they'll ship anywhere in the US. Cornucopia, I love you!

So I found this place on yelp and wanted to try it on our visit to Austin. I was not the easiest place to find. It is located in a ally almost and if you aren't really looking for it you will miss it like we did. But finding it is totally worth it!

You walk in and there are samples lining the walls of all the flavors they have at the moment. (I was dissapointed they didn't have the thin mint when I went, that I saw in the pictures) There were about 20 different flavors to choose from including Confetti, Chocolate Covered Cherry (we bought those two), Patriot, Zebra, Key Lime and a ton more!

I will definately go back here on my next trip to Austin!

I first stepped into Cornucopia and the place was a mess. There was popcorn all over the floor, and I had a weird eerie feeling about the place. But, nonetheless, we sampled some of the popcorn and stuck with the traditional caramel and sopapilla.  Both nicely crafted, but I don't know if I will return to Cornucopia.

No chance I'm going to try making birthday cake flavored popcorn.

Expensive for what it is but the commodity for such specialty popcorn justifies the higher price. Where can you get cheddar jalapeno or curry flavored popcorns!?!?

Located behind veggie heaven and kind of hidden. Its a nice little shop that has jars upon jars upon popcorn to let you try. Try every flavor because I just about did.

We went when UT class was not in session and I can't imagine how traffic is like when all the UT students are here. However definitely worth the drive for good popcorn flavors. What happened to just butter and salt?? Not at cornucopia!

Oh they also advertise half price popcorn when you buy a tin and bring it back to get it filled. Might have to try that sometime!

I was a very narrowed-minded popcorn person before I came to Austin. Either white cheddar, kettle, or butter. That's all.

Imagine my surprise when there were DOZENS of flavors! Red hots, confetti, birthday cake, thin mints, etc. My personal flavor is the dill pickle...mmm, so savory.

On downside, after sampling a whole bunch of flavors, the sweet flavors tend to taste almost alike (although they do taste like what the labels are). And the only sad part? I ate maybe 3-4 popcorn bites of Thin Mints before realizing I didn't want anymore. So maybe I was on a sugar high, but the sweet flavors tend to be more intense and should be eaten sparingly. But the savory ones? I could definitely eat by the handful.

Love, love, love Cornucopia!  I have both a 1 gallon and 2 gallon tin (which are only 1/2 price to refill) and I have to limit my trips to monthly b/c the popcorn disappears so fast.  I first discovered them when they catered our company's superbowl party.  It was the hit of the party and people were fighting over the dill pickle flavor at the end of the night to take home.  I love trying all the samples, but when it comes down to it, I'm a dill pickle, cheddar jalepeno, and birthday cake kind of gal.  They are always coming out with new flavors- my brother loves the new Dragon's breath since it's super spicy.   Always great for girls night and the perfect gift for all those popcorn lovers out there.

Cornucopia is my happy place. Seriously. The blast of sugary air you get when you first open the door is only the beginning of the blissful experience guaranteed by attentive staff and excellent product. Because you can sample *anything* you want before you buy, there's no money wasted on disappointment. The best part? Something for people with a sweet-tooth, like me, as well as salt addicts. Mixing the two in combos is a delicate, delicious art.

Businesses like this one need to stick around.  I don't usually even like popcorn, but I completely love this place.

The women who run the place are irrepressibly cheerful - always offering samples, always reminding me about their free popcorn specials, hardly offended at all when I made fun of them for offering a "vampire sparkle" flavor of popcorn when the Twilight movie came out.

Dill pickle is probably the best, but I'd personally also recommend cheddar jalapeno, Chicago mix, and S'mores.

One downside I suppose is probably the parking - it's not terribly pleasant getting in and out of their parking lot (especially if it's already full), but then again it's not like driving in general is really pleasant anyway.

    Cornucopia rules.  The end.

I know, it's just popcorn, but it's fuckin delicious popcorn that always manages to hit the spot when I'm having a craving for something sweet AND crunchy. Plus, popcorn is a whole grain so you can eat in relative peace.

The location on the drag is usually staffed by one person who is popping, mixing, and selling so there's a chance when you walk in that it may take a while to get served. No problem, just take your time and explore the shelf filled with jars of all kinds of colors and flavors. You'll get a little plastic cup for samples so your final decision can be well informed or leave you wishing you'd bought a bag of each (that's why I limit myself to only 3 to curb any chance of post-consumer dissonance, but this review isn't about my neuroses)

All the savory ones are good (esp the curry and green chile), but the ones that usually hit the spot for me are the peanut butter and chocolate and sopapilla. I swear with the cinnamon and crunch, it's just like the real thing.

I also have a loyalty to this place because they've never compromised their service or product; the bags are always filled to the rim and once at the Congress location, the clerk told my friend to get a different size bag because it was the same quantity for a cheaper price, which I thought was refreshingly honest of her. That being said, it IS pricey for popcorn. Regardless, I still kept coming back because you can't really find sopapilla-flavored popcorn anywhere else, and in the words of Larry David, this stuff is pret-ty pret-ty good.

My household suffers a long-standing habit of popping kernels on the stove then adding curry, oregano, cumin & whatever else peeps from the spice rack before consuming our beloved creation with gusto.

Imagine my enthusiasm at discovering the ready-made Cajun popcorn at Cornucopia.

Sure, we'll continue to make our own Frankernelsteins at home, but as an American, I sometimes prefer the combination of less work, more results.  & the selection available at Cornucopia overtly & abundantly provides.

For the birth of the popcorn-lover in your life, get the Birthday flavor in a birthday tin (if the birth-person's tastes prefer salty to sweet, no worries: you can fill it with whichever flavor you'd like).  Bring a tin back to the store, & they'll fill it for half-price. Talk about the gift which keeps on giving!

For the nature-loving popcorn-lover, consider the Green popcorn. Yes, its color is green.  Made with algae & all sorts of succulent body-friendly substances I can't pronounce, it's ravishingly delicious without the side dish of guilt.

&, yeah, you can try both of these & many more before making any choices.  Quite the trial for indecisive eaters, the moment you walk in you're offered a small plastic cup. You may dip this small plastic cup into any of the many jars of labeled popcorn flavors on a tall bookshelf, many times over.

Just to save you a few moments of incredulity: Yes, the Pizza presents the palate with pizza-comparability. Yes, the Loaded Baked Potato actually tastes meltingly good, minus the real meal's sensation of a trainwreck in your arteries. Yes, the rainbow-colored Confetti will make you feel like a child again.

If you're giving an out-of-towner the Austin tour, start at this end of the Drag. Walk through the movie that is Austin people-watching while smacking through a bag of popped Cornucopia corn.

Forget Austin; that popcorn deserves a Grammy.

i'm upping this to five stars because of cornucopia's awesome customer service! i went in a few days ago to pick up a gallon tin, and there was a customer before me who put in her order. for some reason it took longer than usual for her to get her goods, so i had been waiting there for quite some time before the lady helped me out. i place my order, and she comes back a couple of minutes later and says 'since you had to wait a pretty long time do you want a free kids size bag?' i was pleasantly surprised by her offer because i wasn't in too much of a hurry, and i wasn't complaining or anything. it's rare these days for an establishment to recognize slow service and to take the initiative to please the customer!

    Cornucopia!

I wanted to give you five stars, I really did. But while you are a symbol of abundance, I felt like I got a little bit skimped.

I had one of those daily deal coupons for $20 worth of popcorn. I bought a one-gallon tin for $15. When you buy one of these tins, you get 50% off when you come back to refill it. (And you want to come back. The popcorn is delicious!)

But $15 for three flavors and one gallon is pretty pricy. However, after trying free samples in the store (Yum! Big plus! I would have never ordered a flavor like "Dill Pickle" without a sample!) I decided this probably isn't going to be my last trip here. I filled up the tin and then ordered another two kids sized bags ($2.25 each). I was so excited by so many of the delicious flavors, that I just had to order another one.

My excitement/buying spree/thriftiness/desire to spend money/ADD got the best of me when I caught my eye on their "Go Local Card" deal.

This deal includes a free kids-sized bag of popcorn with any purchase. PERFECT! That last extra bag would pay for itself. My excitement grew even more when I saw that they had punch cards: "Buy 8 popcorn bags & get a free medium bag of any flavor!"

My spendthrift spirit could take no more! Done and done. I'll have one of those too!

Maybe this order got to be a little overwhelming, maybe I should have double checked everything, I don't know-- But when I got home I realized I had a bag of popcorn missing. Ahhhh! My Veggie Green Corn! (Darn! That one was pretty tasty!) That's okay, I would have gotten it free with my Go Local card anyway. I must be at least halfway to another free bag with my punch card. After all, I did buy five bags. *Looks down* One punch?! What?! No way! *Boyfriend opens the tin* "Looks like they really skimped you on the salt and vinegar."

    ...

    ...

Come on, Cornucopia. Our relationship started off so well. I was getting free things, you were... giving them to me. Your lucky save is this: Your popcorn really is delicious. And your cashier was really nice. She may have f***ed up my order, but she was so nice I didn't notice. Dammit.

BOTTOM LINE: Expensive prices, but with discounts like punch cards and 50% off tin refills, the prices become reasonable for gourmet popcorn. The service is nice, but a little slow and not entirely helpful. The popcorn is delicious. Try some free samples before you order!

FAVORITES: Salt & Vinegar and Smores.

Nadia, the owner, is like a flavor savant.  Birthday cake popcorn tastes like birthday cake.  Chocolate covered cherry tastes like a chocolate covered cherry.  And I don't even like sweets normally.  Cheddar jalapeño is my favorite.

I really loved the laid back vibe! Samples are right by the counter, giving you the chance to choose a flavor you like and figure out what mixes you might enjoy. I took home some vegan green corn mixed with the cajun corn, dill pickle corn (tastes a little more cheesy than pickly, but dill nonetheless), and cinnamon toast corn--all almost gone and I just got them Sunday. Still wishing I'd gotten some of the Madras curry corn too... I love making flavored corn at home, but this is way better than mine!

Will definitely be back on my next visit to Austin!

    Pros:

Had many over a year ago! I now have nothing good to say at all. Proceed to cons.

    Cons:

Constantly inconsistent in service and in the quality of popcorn. Sometimes the popcorn is completely coated  and sometimes barely at all. Many times I get popcorn in the mail and some bags have a ton of unpopped kernels and for what it costs, that's not acceptable.

Parking lot nightmare. Crammed behind Veggie Heaven on one of the busiest streets in Austin where homeless kids seem to set up camp and harass people for change.

Not all flavors available at any given time. If they have watermelon on the menu, they should have it when I go to the store.

Most of the time when I get my order (I order up to 4 times a month) It's not what I ordered and when I call to dispute, all I get is attitude and excuses. If you can't handle complaints and/or a busy business then either hire more help or get out of business.

The prices were too high, but since I had a Groupon for 50% off, the prices were more tolerable. I'll need to investigate the refilling of tins for 50% off, that might be worth it.

They have tasters for all available flavors, so you can literally try them ALL before you buy. Very nice. We ended up with 4 baggies of corn for $20, 2 savory, 2 sweet. One thing is the savory blends went stale very quickly, so I suggest eating them quickly. The candied blends seem fine. I don't know if it's something to do with how they are flavored or the age of the corn when we went into the store. Future visits will have to settle that debate.

We had pesto, loaded baked potato, pumpkin pie and eggnog (yay for seasonal flavors!). After getting them home, I'm most fond of the loaded baked potato and the pumpkin pie.

I'm a popcorn freak, so I hope I'll have another chance to try some more of their good corn.

I don't want this to seem like a passive aggressive review, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. (Or does that actually make it a passive aggressive review - I'm not sure!)

The lady at the front was very sweet and encouraged my friend and me to try as many flavors as we wanted.  I picked the Dill Pickle and the Cheddar/Jalapeno.  They were running low on the Dill Pickle and popped a fresh batch for us.  Everyone is right...the Dill Pickle is phenomenal.  My one gripe is that the Cheddar/Jalapeno was definitely stale.  My husband tried both when I got home and agreed that the C/J was past it's prime. I'll most likely throw it out, because the calories aren't worth it for chewy popcorn.

If I go again, I am going to ask if all my popcorn can be fresh-popped or at minimum guaranteed fresh?  The price is worth it, if that's the case.

Back in the early 90s, Act II Popcorn used to make flavored microwavable popcorn. I vividly remember the smell of hot, sour cream flavored popcorn in the mornings (yes, that's right). I'd pop a bag of popcorn and plop down in front of the television to watch Wimbledon.

Yesterday, as I was walking past Cornucopia, I was suddenly struck by the memory of salty sour cream popcorn. How kismet.

There were so many flavors of popcorn, but I could not be swayed from SOUR CREAM AND CHIVE POPCORN. I got a baggie of sour cream popcorn and a baggie of caramel popcorn, and then headed on home.

At home, I put on my stretchy pants, filled up a glass of iced tea, and sat down in front of the television to enjoy the goods. The caramel popcorn was okay; it was not overly sweet, but it tasted like it was on a downward spiral to being not so fresh.

The sour cream popcorn, which I had seriously looked forward to, was a huge let down. It definitely did not taste fresh, was slightly bland, and was super chewy. You know the point where popcorn goes bad and starts sticking to your teeth? Yep. Chewy popcorn is the worst, well, next to the smell of burnt popcorn.

Anyway, I liked the concept, and I'm sure if the popcorn were fresh, it would have been a much tastier experience.

I really should only need to tell you about the look my friend shot me when  he realised i had eaten the entire bag of popcorn we had just picked up earlier in the day.

The store is simple but fun - you can sample all the available flavours, and the selection is incredible.

From peanut butter choc, to dill pickle, Cornucopia's product is a delicious and crave-satisfying snack.

I went the Chicago mix - a blend of cheese and caramel corn. Salty and sweet for the win!

I'm definitely a huge fan of Cornucopia. The fact that I can taste test as many flavors as I want is definitely a perk (I'm a sucker for free samples)
My ONLY regret about the entire visit....the Texas Chili popcorn. Don't get me wrong, I love Texas, and I love chili, but I'm not so much a fan of the popping corn homage. I don't wanna be too harsh, but it tasted a little too similar to the smell of body odor in my opinion - sorry to all the diehard fans out there.
Other than that, two thumbs way up! Fun, delicious, and super creative!

My company received a holiday gift of popcorn from here. A coworker stopped in to check the place out and showed up to work with twenty flavors, even though we still had our huge tin.

When asked why so many flavors, she said "Because they were nice."

I kept the tin because they refill them at half-price. So this week, there was a special day at work. I agreed to pick up snacks. It was a terrible day and I got to Cornucopia running late, happy that their parking is easy. Then I realized that I didn't have the tin.

"Because they were nice." I totally get that now.

The woman waited patiently while I decided what to do, politely excusing herself to tend to the popcorn for a moment. I decided to just get the six flavor pack and rattled off the three favorites she-of-twenty-flavors had suggested. The woman got the running-late thing and suggested some complementing flavors. She told me it would take her five minutes to put together. (A time estimate! So considerate to those running late!)  I paid with a company card and tried a few flavors while I waited. I decided to bring some to my dinner companion and when I went to pay for those, there was an extra bag. Since I had downsized my order, she didn't want us to run out.  Aww, nice.

The story doesn't end with co-workers standing around snacking and talking. Fed people at work are always happy. I forgot the receipt and that's a no-no with company money. But because I realized this niceness thing is a thing with them, one email and I had a duplicate receipt within the hour.

Forty fun flavors? I'll come back for that.

But the niceness? That's what'll make me remember them when I'm thinking presents and guests and special occasions. That's what made me finally write a Yelp review.

I got an e-mail from one of the owners of this place explaining that they raised prices by 15 percent because of the rising cost of corn and the fact that the previous owners went out of business because costs were too high. Seems logical, if unfortunate.

I really appreciated the e-mail (the tone was nice, as were the people in the shop!), but I can't say that it will make me any more likely to go there in the future.

It made me realize that a popcorn storefront just isn't likely to be a viable business model. If you have to charge that much for it to work, then you're pricing your market out of your product, it'd seem.

I do wish these girls the best of luck, and hopefully they'll find a niche among people with more money than me who appreciate positive attitudes and a cute shop, but I fear that they may have bought into a business that wasn't meant to be.

    Still, it sure is tasty!

I am a grazer and this place is wonderful for those who like to get full off free food.

Of course, unlike the Central Markets/Whole Foods/HEBs of the world, I felt guilty just munching and leaving.  I did purchase the green popcorn, which is their vegan corn, and a kids size bag of the peanut butter chocolate.  Delicious...

The girl was friendly and patient as I munched my way through their assortment of flavors.  Seriously, try the green popcorn.

Cinnamon. Roll. Popcorn. Three word changed my life yesterday. The kids size bag was just the appetizer for the large bag I inhaled fifteen minutes later.

They have some pretty unique flavors and it doesn't matter if you get season, candied, or chocolate covered because you're more than likely going to be happy with your choice. I would have given them 5 stars but the I knocked one down for because it can be a little pricey, especially for the chocolate covered.

our visit here was a complete impromptu stop. we figured since the stupid parking meter required that we put in no less than a quarter for a 1 minute stop for milk tea, we were going to make the most of that quarter! why not venture over to this popcorn place i've heard about, seen around, and is still around?

we stood there dazed for a minute but once we snapped out of it, we got to work. we tried a good number of the flavors... a whole bookcase of different flavored popcorn!! i've heard a lot about the dill flavor, but i'm allergic to dill, so i had to pass on that. we ended up going with s'mores, white cheddar, and dill to share. i don't think i would've enjoyed this experience as much if there was someone standing over my shoulder pressuring me to either hurry or purchase. i loved that the owner didn't do this. she didn't hover. she didn't intimidate. she let us be kids in a popcorn shop, happy and comfortable. the "kid's bag" makes it easy to take home multiple flavors if you're a commitaphobe. i, raise my hand to that.

and i also find the lime green colored walls rather appealing...

UPDATE: Here's the email I got from a co-owner. I do appreciate that she says they use natural ingredients. I'm just wary of dayglo colors, I guess:

Hi Alex, this is Nikki, I'm one of the owners at Cornucopia. We really try to listen to our yelp reviews to make changes for our business. I just wanted to let you know that there are no "chemicals" in our popcorn. We use all natural dyes and flavorings in the colored popcorn. Also, I understand if you dislike the fruity colored popcorn flavors, but I urge you to try our seasoned flavors, like texas chili and pesto. They are made with a base of cheese and then we add the seasonings & herbs & spices on top. My best friend and I make all the popcorn and we would be happy to pop a fresh batch of hot buttered popcorn for you when you come in, it's actually half as much as our "flavored" popcorn is. It's just not on the menu. Thanks for your time! Nikki

My review: Room Temperature Popcorn? Call me confused, but chemical-coated popped corn didn't do it for me. I like my popcorn hot.

The gals were nice enough, but I just can't get over the concept of eating artificial colors and flavors and calling it anything more healthy or interesting than the latest rice krispy treats in a vending machine. And super overpriced, for what seems like an unusual market. How could this be more than snocones? Same chemicals, right?
