Hands down a great experience. It's always frustrating an an inconvenience when your separated from your vehicle for an extended period of time due. Especially when you have to repair extensive damage. I will say that I was very satisfied with my experience here.
Not going into the details of my claim, they actually beat me to the punch and contacted me. I was asked when the best time for me to bring my vehicle in. Love that. It wasn't on their time or when they had a bay open, it was on my time. That set the tone. I told the customer rep I travel a lot and she was super accommodating and very friendly and engaging.
During the entire process I was receiving txt updates on the status of my vehicle. I couldn't ask for better service. At the end of it all, before I picked up my vehicle, I told the rep I might be a little late due to my commute from Seattle....she was like "no worries at all drive safe see you soon". Wait....what? Sincerity? Care? Compassion? Yep. Nailed it.
I pick up my vehicle, not only is the outside detailed, the inside was too. Y'all about full service. Such a smooth process.
Now, I wouldn't intentionally wreck my vehicle just to go back here, but if I did need work, best believe I know who to contact.

So the issue I have with Cornforth-Campbell is simple:
Why take in a still driveable car with a known GM-strike parts shortage going on? All this has accomplished is use up our rental car coverage while our car, now taken apart and no longer driveable, sits in your shop for weeks, unused. As "so called experts" in your industry, don't you think you should have known this and not stuck us in the situation we are in? Right now my accident injured wife cannot drive, without unbearable pain, the stick shift car that my son let us borrow because your poor projection and planning for this months known parts shortage bled our benefits to zero--all for an accident that was not her fault. You offer apologies, excuses, but not the customer service that we thought we could expect from your well established shop. My car was sent to CarStar due to an accident, to start off they told us they were so behind they would even be able to look at my car for a couple weeks.. understandable.. maybe they were just backed up or maybe.. they are backed up because they do not know how to order correct parts for vehicles? Moving on, they finally get the estimate over to my insurance company and start working on my vehicle, couple weeks go by they call me and say they are still waiting on the grill, another week goes by.. they are still waiting on the grill.. another week goes by they ARE STILL WAITING ON THE GRILL?!?!?? Finally it's been about 7 weeks that they have my car so I ask them WHY is the grill taking so long?? Nick tells me it's because they ordered the wrong grill.. not once not twice but THREE times!!! Confused on how this could happen I explain to him the grill fell off during the accident and was left in the trunk of the jeep... so please tell me how do you order the wrong one THREE times?!?! I get told it was never in the trunk but I stated back that it very much so was, he tries to question me and tell it was definitely not but he will check with his guys. After that phone call I was beyond frustrated, I complained to my insurance company and finally a week in a half later I got my car back. Also nick did call back to tell me that in fact the grill was in the car but still did not have an explanation on why it was ordered wrong THREE TIMES..... I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY! Worst experience I have ever had with a car repair shop!

What can I say? As far as repair shops go, this one was great. My husband totaled my car in December and Carstar worked quickly to get things rolling so we could either get it fixed or get moving on another vehicle. Sadly, the repairs were too costly so the car will be donated to charity for parts. But they were patient and kind while I tried to organize a tow truck to pick up the vehicle.

Our pickup needed a fender repair and paint. A small job that most would put off or not do at all!! Not this company. They were thorough, fast and it was perfect. Awesome employees, service and owners! I highly recommend them for your car needs!

Before I started the process of looking for a body shop, I was referred by a few people to Cornforth-Campbell. I wish our office had gone there first.
I contacted Cornforth-Campbell after taking our Sprinter van to another shop. The previous shop took well over a week to even give me an estimate and wanted a month to fix our van.
When our van arrived at Cornforth-Campbell, I was called when it arrived on site (Our company is based in Oregon), then received another call two hours later, along with an email of the estimate and photos. Their estimate came in at a significantly lower price. And their timeline was several weeks shorter as well.
Overall, I was impressed with many aspects of Cornforth-Campbell. They provided: Excellent communication, honest pricing, quality work, and they finished on time. When I came to pick up our Sprinter, they even had the parts on a rack for me to inspect.

Terrible Quality control. Management will lie to you and put your car on the road that is unsafe to drive. We gave up on ever getting our car finished by these scam artist.

(Kurt) The owner of these two locations downtown Puyallup. Why are you (KURT) running from your stated responsibilities? Several vehicles (14 customers) that have been ruined by your locations doing so called collision repairs. When repairs do not make safety requirements in Washington, we are extremely surprised that you (KURT) are allowed to stay in business. BEWARE!!

First, Cornforth-Campbell lacks the knowledge on repairing collision damage. They have ruined a simple repair and have ruined my vehicle. Cornforth-Campbell personally feels that it is ok to return a unsafe vehicle to injured customers. So called unprofessional (Owner) will not honor the companies stated warranty and will not repair the damage that Cornforth-Campbell has caused. Cornforth-Campbell has been turned into the state for fraudulent repairs and not honoring repair contracts. This seems as a daily occurrence for Cornforth-Campbell.
Second, it has been an outright litigating disaster dealing with this company and advise everyone to stay clear of this company. Cornforth-Campbell clearly does not value people and currently do not value returning safe, repaired vehicles.
Third, I have provided every possible way for Cornforth-Campbell to fix the damage to my vehicle with no success. Their actions are simply dishonest and is outright fraudulent. Instead of fixing my vehicle and making it safe to be on the road the owner (Kurt) insists for me to sue.
