I used GrubHub this afternoon to order here for my lunch.
Great menu selection, very low delivery minimum (most places around the Newbury St. and Mass Ave area have whopping delivery minimums from $10 to $20). They keep it humble at $8 with a moderate delivery fee from GrubHub.
I received my food a half hour early from a very happy and friendly guy. My clam chowder was (still is, I'm eating it as I type) AMAZING. Piping hot and delicious.
The chicken caesar wrap was very neatly made and delicious as well.
I like places that are friendly, prompt and have quality food. You guys just fulfilled above and beyond my expectations! Can't wait to try out other menu items as the cold winter months approach.
Guess I'll be getting lots of Chowder!
Thanks! -

Meep! Truly giving up on Boston delivery. I ordered a falafel platter and baklava. The baklava was alright, given that it was only $3.50. I still feel the need to mention it was pretty dry, though ^.^ The falafel was also dry... ack... as well as the pita the platter came with. I am going to stick with eating IN restaurants. Delivery just isn't for me. /elfin ;)

Strictly okay. One of the worst tabbouli wraps I have had. Okayish mozarella pesto sandwich.
The only upside is that they deliver even for $7 minimum on foodler. -

Got food delivered from Corner Cafe recently. It was decent. My greek salad was pretty good. The chicken was marinated well and it came with lots of feta! It was a huge portion too so had some for lunch the next day. We also got the hummus wrap which was good. Oddly though we ordered a side of hummus and pita and it was awful! It tasted as if the hummus had gone bad. It was a shame because it came in a huge container too (they were probably trying to get rid of it)!
So not a bad place for some quick take out/delivery - just don't order the hummus! -

Came by to pick up some dinner only to see the lady microwave pre-cooked chicken for my caesar salad...are you f'ing kidding me? Everything else in the place looked like it came from some cheap excuse for a market/bakery/etc.

HORRIBLE.
I ordered through foodler last night, will NEVER order from this place again.
It took an hour and fifteen minutes to deliver fewer than 8 blocks away.
They forgot the soda, but charged for it.
The "homemade lemonade" was literally very Strong crystal light. I am not sure what they imagine 'homemade' means, but I will tell you charging $2.00 after adding water to neon powder doesn't count.
The 'nachos' were stale, covered in canned tomatoes and one glop of American cheese. Soggy bc of the tomatoes (which are neither on the menu nor did I ask for them). They did not come with the advertised sour cream or the guac I asked for. So they were stale AND soggy (I know, special effort was put in there).
They forgot to give ketchup for the fries.
So, after many emails back and forth with foodler, the magnanimous manager of his crap shack offered a $5.00 refund. Meaning: I spent $16.00 for a sandwich and some crystal light. Essentially I PAID FOR the undelivered, the inedible and the otherwise mediocre. Awesome.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
***The food had an air of negligence that makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the actual restaurant. Gross to think about. -

I've tried this place 3 or 4 times now, and every time it takes OVER an HOUR to get delivery. The food was relatively cold and rather soggy by the time it got to us.
Last week, it took almost an hour and a half for us to get one panini, one sub, and a couple of drinks. We threw the menu in the trash. Not worth the wait. -

I called in advance to pick up a falafel dinner around 7pm on a Friday, they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later when I show up to get my food, the cafe is empty besides the one lady behind the counter chatting away on the phone. I tell her that I'm here to pick up my order, to which she says it'll be ready soon. She then proceeds to make my order right then, not uttering a single apology about her laziness or me having to wait another 10 minutes. I'm not sure if it's just the one employee who sucks, but I got a really terrible first impression on this place.
On top of that, I got sick from the falafel, which tasted like cardboard. -

Thank you, sweet delivery man who works the evening shift, for understanding that sometimes I am just too _____ (tired/lazy/unwilling to brave the snow/repulsed by the thought of cooking) that walking the 9 blocks to your little restaurant is simply out of the question.
I really appreciate that your wraps are generous and seriously reasonably priced. Most of all, however, I love that everytime you delivery that hummus-y goodness to my door, you say "Hi, Melissa! So good to see you again!" Sometimes the most important quality in a delivery man is being nonjudgmental. -

I found Corner Cafe through Foodler last weekend and gave them a shot. Prices are decent, delivery was fast, and the food was very fresh.
Baked chicken fingers: Strange. They tasted great but were so small and sad looking. They also came without any dipping sauce. I wouldn't order them again.
Buffalo chicken fingers: They had lost all of their crispyness by the time that were delivered so we ate soggy spicy mushy chicken. Not good.
Classic burrito: Extremely fresh and healthy just not much flavor.
Chicken salad sandwich on a sub roll: Actually pretty good. Just enough chicken salad - great spices - but it only came with one piece of lettuce and 2 pieces of tomato that got lost in the sandwich.
Combo burrito: He LOVED it. I didn't take a bite.
This is a solid place. Things won't be amazing, but they'll be good.Listed in: Chicken Salad

Review from Kiwi H.
The menu of this place has a HUGE range of salads and wraps to choose from. I mean, huge. If you're the kind of person who thinks that a salad is little more than a couple of tasteless wilting leaves that taste like 'blech', check this place out because there are so many options you're bound to find one that you like. Good sandwich options too, and I like that there's a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean influence on a lot of things.
Having said that, I feel like this is still pretty 'Americanised' Middle Eastern food. Ok, I haven't tried a zillion things on the menu, but for example although my chicken shawarma wrap was very enjoyable, I felt like it was a wrap not a shawarma. As a wrap/sandwich, it was very tasty, as a shawarma, it wasn't what I consider a shawarma. The meat had a great shawarma-like marinade and was very tender, but to me a shawarma consists of the heavily marinated delicious shawarma meat, pita (slightly crispy round the edges is nice), pickles and maybe fries along with tahina or garlic paste (or both, what the hell). Here, there was a good drizzle of tahina which I liked but along with the lettuce, tomato, onions etc. it just really felt like more of an Arabic-tinged wrap.
Anyway. I'm not here to judge their authenticity since they never claimed to be straight-up traditional, so whatever - if I'm looking for authentic Arabic/Middle Eastern food, I'll head to somewhere like Reef in Allston. If I just want a very tasty, genereously sized and overall very satistying wrap/sandwich/salad, I'd definitely come here again. Neatly packaged too, fills you up and it really hit the spot for what we wanted.
People are nice, but I agree with Brian if you get delivery it can be SLOW. I mean, REALLY slow. I mean, placing an order at 1:45pm and getting it at around 3:25pm. Still, if you aren't going to faint from hunger and can wait, you won't be upset when the food arrives since its good. I imagine they'd be faster if you ate in the cafe itself but ah well.
Lastly - I'm eager to try their smoothies next time - I love smoothies, and judging from their frozen yoghurt I get the feeling they'd be great. The frozen yoghurt is very much like the kind you can get at Amsterdam Cafe for example - tasty, light and satisfying with ground up/chopped up ingredients (like oreos and strawberries) mixed in, and portions are pretty big. It's not the kind of froyo you'd get at a place like Berryline or YoBerry, but it's still delicious and oh-so-satisfying. -

I LOVE this place. I always get a chicken wrap with mozzarella and pesto. MMM MMM MMM. Its always fresh and their produce is great too. Nothing tastes like ti was microwaved.. which is always a plus. They also have a great chicken salad. Anytime I am in the area, I stop off there and get a wrap.
The reviews about the delivery man are so true. He is the nicest delivery man I have ever had. I also dont think I have ever waited more than 30 minutes. -

If I were to write a review that was the size of the storefront here, it would go something like this: Decent falafel veggie wraps, and great soups. Everything is priced well, and they deliver, and they are wicked polite. There's really nothing not to like, although sometimes they only have 1 vegetarian soup option.

We used Corner Cafe for a meeting, and it sounded like our entire group was pleased with what they got. They have a large variety of options; I was especially pleased with the choices of salads and chicken wraps. And while I'm no expert on middle eastern food, the tabouli was tasty, fresh, and worthy of seconds.
I used http://campusfood.com for ordering, and happened to order one menu item not in season. The Corner Cafe was nice enough to call within seconds (literally) to let me know and arrange another choice. I would order from them again. -

I love this place! It's perfect for lunch because they deliver and relatively quickly at that. Their menu is huge and I have tried only a few things, but they were all delicious!
I love their egg sandwiches and their chicken salad sandwiches because they come on toasted bread (no more bread sticking to the roof of your mouth!) and the chicken and eggs are in large-ish chunks so you can really taste the yumminess instead of having pureed mush.
Their honey mustard steak tips are awesome, the meat is tender and delicious! I also like their smoothies especially the strawberry creamcicle. I'm sure the rest is very good but haven't tried it yet.
Oh and the delivery man is very nice and remembers my name but I haven't seen him around lately :-/ Where have you gone?
Overall- awesome! -

I'm a big time fan of customer service, so I was immediately sold on the place when my change came to $12.91 and I was given a solid $13....I hate having change rattling around in my pocket.
Anyway, you can't beat the food for the price. It's pretty simple stuff. I've tried a few of their sandwiches, and while it won't knock your socks off, it's still good food. I've heard that they make a mean smoothie. I've been looking for a good smoothie place around town, so I'll definitely be back.
Conclusion: This is good food at an inexpensive price and the owners/staff are nice, so I will continue to be a frequent patron. -

First of all, the menu for this place is huge. It was excruciating picking out dinner because, frankly, I wanted about 15 items.
I settled on the Beef Shawarma wrap. It was colossal. I could barely finish it, but I did. (Yay! I'm a champ!) The sauce and hummus were tasty and not overwhelming. The beef was well-done which bodes well for me, but if you like rarer meat you may need to specify. -

I really love the little corner cafe. True, I may be biased because it's conveniently located right across the street from me, but it has a lot to offer for such a little venue.
Amazing smoothies. Mango madness is my favorite, probably the best smoothie I've ever had. Just be aware that their smoothie are probably more reminiscent of milkshakes, due to the use of both frozen yogurt and milk. But still, wonderful.
Huge menu selection, I can't imagine how they fit everything in that tiny kitchen. They offer basic breakfast options, tons of vegetarian options, roll ups, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, frozen yogurt, desserts, etc. Really, everyone can find SOMETHING that they will enjoy. I've always had good luck with any of the roll-ups with hummus, as well as their bagel selections in the morning.
The one downside to the place is the size, theres probably only 3 or 4 tables, so its more of a take-out place. But that has never bothered me, seeing as though I live so close.
The owner and staff are all very pleasant and service is fast. I would give this place a 4.75 if I could, but yelp doesn't allow it. Damn. Love the corner cafe! -

I was kind of surprised when I walked in during lunchtime, ordered a chicken wrap, and the woman working there pulled some chicken out of the refrigerator and popped it in the microwave. That said, it was pretty tasty... but I would like to get my food freshly prepared.
Not open Sunday, which is kind of disappointing because that's always when I seem to be hungry and wandering by. -
Review from Tiff D.
based on yelp reviews, I try the place.
5PM on a weekday...driving there was tough enough. I walk in and am pessimistic (but whats new). Tiny place, no decor, tons of stuff crammed in every crevice. The large menu board does not have a description, only names of the items good thing I had already studied the menu online. I was impressed by their selection of items to choose from. Their sandwhiches were quite unique and peeked my interest. Having fell in love with one for the first time a few months ago, I opted for the falafel wrap.
A young lady behind the counter who couldnt really speak english muttered something which I assumed was "can I help you?" so I ordered...falafel wrap please.
She slowly makes the wrap behind the counter. Up to the cash register, she hands me my lemonade..."$8.20 please". $8 for a wrap and a drink?? ok...Im sure its good. I leave the place with a small brown paper bag and a lemonade.
Sipping the lemonade on the way out...hum..."its ok". Not very fresh. Taste like Kool-Aid or something with a bit of a plastic flavor? :-/
Settled in, I open my wrap. Very large. Pita wrap. Buldging at the seems. All good signs.
Bite..
One word, HORRIBLE...Few more words...dry, bitter, bland, disgusting.
Maybe my first was the best?? Maybe what I had can not be compaired...But this, was far from good this was horrible. Dry, croase falafel balls with romaine lettuce, large chopped tomatoes, turnip pickles and what they claim is Tahini sauce.
Sorry yelpers, I am not impressed. I will give it another ry because they may have other items that are delicious. But I will stick with Big Fresh (Framingham, MA) for my falafel. Falafel, hummus, shredded lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tahini, & homemade piccalilli. YUM. -
Review from Meghan M.
Fantastic, huge Middle-Eastern themed wraps. They are always extremely generous with the feta, hummus and fresh vegetables which is big in my book. I've also had a very simple egg, cheese and tomato sandwich here which also was darn good (trust me...you CAN screw that up). They deliver quickly and for free and are really quite inexpensive. Thumbs up CC!

I have been here a few times. Their smoothies are just okay...their food is ....uhhhhh....just okay......and their customer service is ....uh...just okay. Even though it is just okay they are pretty pricey for what you get. I guess that is why even when I am in that area I just don't go there..

Super nice people run this place so that probably bumped them up a star on my rating BUT, that being said, good service and a pleasant attitude can kind of make or break an otherwise 'meh' food establishment . Good paninis and wraps, delicious homemade hummus, and their breakfast sandwiches aren't too bad in a pinch. There is limited outdoor seating which is nice in the summer too.

The food is absolutely amazing. It's all very healthy and great quality.
I ordered on http://grubhub.com and the promised time was an hour after I ordered and it took about an hour and 20 minutes. Not sure who is to blame, but the smoothie was worth the wait! -
