This review is a bit biased considering that my friend rents space here and every First Friday this is homebase. But I have to say that while most galleries seem to stick to paintings, this place always has a little bit of everything. From paintings to photography, sculptures, and weird things made of chicken wire that make you scratch your head, Core is the perfect place to start your tour de art. The work is diverse and the atmosphere is far from pretentious. It also has very nice bathroooms.
This gallery is centrally located along the Santa Fe strip, and the live music being featured for arts week this week is right around the corner. And I have to plug my pal, Brianna Martray, who has the first studio on the right as you walk in, because her work is the most colorful and thought provoking in the building.Listed in: First Friday ....Art and…

If you are going to the Art Walk on Santa Fe, make sure you hit Core, one of Denver's finest art galleries. This place always has some of the best artwork on display.
Right now, they're featuring the work of Rolf Helland, and it's worth the trip to this gallery just to see his stuff.
