I won!!
Not on the card table....but the dining room table! To those Yelpers who insisted that the Kobe sliders were a must, THANK YOU! I am ever learning you guys KNOW what you're talking about. Typically I'd skip that section of the menu and go straight to real deal, but I took your advice. It was love at first bite. Those little things are amazing! The meat is delectable, the buns are so fresh and soft, and even the caramelized onions took these over the top (I'm not usually a fan of onions, except for the fried variety). We were sold right then and there!
For dinner I ordered the only thing I COULD order...once I see mac n cheese on a menu, it's all over. And this stuff is legit! Super creamy and cheesy and packed with flavor. Even my husband, who could take mac or leave it, was impressed. DELICIOUS. He, on the other hand, ordered the steak and eggs, and wasn't impressed. He still inhaled it, but wouldn't order it again.
Our plan for next time is to come for happy hour and load up on the sliders (and a couple other items that looked great). We don't gamble, but we'll be back for the food for sure!
The ambiance is OK, the service was fine, and the prices are decent. It can get loud, but no better way to drown that out than by sinking your teeth into the sliders and mac and cheese!! -

This was an OK place to watch a PPV fight, but the food is what I'm here to talk about, and it's just not that great. Worse than that, it's neighboring on bad.
The food here really just felt like a bit of an afterthought. The ingredients did not seem to be high quality, and the whole of the dishes felt lacking. And, to top things off, they did something almost unforgivable to me: they made me dislike a burger. I LOVE burgers, and I don't let myself eat them all that often, so they had better be good when I do. Sadly, this didn't even reach the point of average. Plus, the fries were cold when they hit the table. Bad form! -

My initial impression was very positive. The waiter did a nice job recommending a good beer - Hobgoblin Ale. Really nice and the waiter made sure I liked it. He had a nice personal touch.
The food didn't deliver as expect. I ordered the All-In Burger. The burger was good, but didn't match the menu.
On the menu is says: Bleu cheese, caramelized onions, baby arugula, horseradish cream
The reality was: Bleu cheese, RAW red onions, a piece of lettuce, horseradish cream
Okay... close but, what was on the menu was what I really wanted. Once served, I didn't see the waiter for 10 minutes (i.e., no opportunity to say "hey this isn't what was on the menu" and I was too hungry to wait). Once the waiter showed up, I asked for more water - probably because of all the raw onions in the burger and again didn't see him for what felt like 10 minutes. -

I am a new resident to Rancho Cordova and the experience at the Cordova Restaurant Casino was Great!!! The Service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Outstanding cowboy burger cooked exactly as I requested and the onion rings were also excellent. My wife had the Street Tacos and they were so good I had to order a couple for myself !!! We are from now on going to be considered the regulars because of the service and the food !! This will be our first choice when we go out !!

After the Yelp event on August 20, 2011, I decided to try a burger from the place seeing how it rates a solid 4 stars with over 70 reviews.
I went with their Jalapeno Burger and a garden salad, all to-go.
The order was up within a few moments, so I took my prize back to the room to sample the goods.
The burger was tasty, fresh, plump and loaded with two whole jalapeno's to boot.
Not a bad meal at all. And if I find myself in the area I would definitely stop in for a burger. -

I came to this place for the first time during the recent Yelp event and have been back ever since. The chicken wings here are very good with several sauces to choose from...the teriyaki was my favorite. The pulled pork sliders are also a winner. The drinks are strong and the staff is friendly.
As for the gaming, there are only table games here with low minimums. I mainly play Baccarat and was happy to find they offer the game no commission. There is also Blackjack and Three Card Poker. They also have several poker tables going. The dealers are fast and very professional. They also offer all UFC fights with no cover. Overall, a great alternative to the big Indian casinos to avoid smokers and loud slot machines. -

Sacramento, CA
I have been here a few times after work with several of my colleagues.
When my co-workers first suggested we try Cordova Casino, I was very hesitant. I live in Rancho and from first hand experience, I know Rancho doesn't have much to offer in terms of restaurants.
As I mentioned, I have been here a few times now...so obviously, I was proven wrong with my first assumption.
The restaurant isn't a dirty smoke-filled atmosphere as I had imagined and it wasn't filled with boozey creepos, as I had also assumed it would be.
The restaurant is nice...but, I'm not a big fan of the antler chandelier. I know, call me crazy....but I've never been too big on animal motif. I have only been in the dining area of the restaurant...but from what I've seen, it's nice. The dining area, however, seems a little small. I'm not sure if there is more to the restaurant.
The food is decent. Not the best food I have ever had, but it's do-able. I have had their mac and cheese and it was so-so...a little bit on the runny side. The fish and chips are yum...big serving.
I will continue going back after work with co-workers...but that's to the extent of it. -

This is more a review for the restaurant portion of the establishment as I have not done any gambling here. If I were a gambling man, however, I would give this place a shot simply due to the fact that I wouldn't be surrounded by leather-faced hagathas, embalmed with perfume that smells like flea spray, who are mindlessly feeding slot machines while chugging down cigarettes and inhaling watered down vodka-tonics.
I often come here after work to enjoy some appetizers and drinks with coworkers. We have reserved the back room on numerous occasions and were treated wonderfully by the staff. The food is great and the bartenders are always attentive and quick, which makes up for the horrible well liquor!
They have a pretty good happy hour as well. So if you work in the area, give it a shot. -
Review from Alex L.
Cordova has everything you'd want in a restaurant casino minus the seediness of most other gambling joints. There are no chain smokers wearing sweat pants and playing slots in 17 hour shifts, no frat boys high-fiving and thinking they are invincible at blackjack, and no seedy lounge acts. It's like the owners went to Vegas and some of the major Indian casinos in our area and extracted all the elements that work.
This brand new building is decorated on the inside like a rustic cabin, giving it a homey feel that makes you want to stay, relax and get comfortable. The staff is friendly and the patrons are respectable. The restaurant serves some absolutely delicious dishes. I recommend visiting during lunch on a weekday as they are rarely crowded and the service is prompt.
One element that I believe has made them successful is that the gaming is limited to card play. This may be a legal requirement, but it's a definite plus to not have to scream over the sound of lever-pulling and jackpots. It's simply a nice, quiet spot to try your luck and wet your appetite. -

This place is pretty great. Got calamari with some friends and then headed to the tables. $5 minimums less than a mile from my school=gamble my loan $$$
Not a bad place, unless you live in Rancho Cordova and have a gambling problem. -

I never knew this restaurant existed until a coworker mentioned it. Tried this place at lunch time and the place was not busy (i think we came in a 11am, which is sort of early for lunch). I had the hamburger with onion rings (about $11.00). The burger was good, and the bbq sauce they use for the burger was very good. The onion rings were crispy the way i liked it. If you're not hurting on money, and wants a gourmet burger, you should check this out.

I go here, the restaurant section, a lot for get togethers with coworkers or to watch UFC fights with groups of friends. I'm really a fan of the happy hour. You can't go wrong with the spicy green beans or sliders.
I do have to say the bartender Mon-Fri during breakfast or lunch is a cool dude. I forget his name off the top of my head but he takes good care of us when we go for lunch. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, especially during happy hour.Listed in: Happy Hours....

Well well well, what do we have here ladies and gentleman? Another fancy restaurant located inside a casino trying to do big things but comes up short? NO SIR, THIS PLACE IS FABULOUS.
From the bartenders, to the waitresses to the chefs, this place is GREAT nothing but 5 star service every time I come here. You kind of feel like you're in Vegas with all of the gamblers pacing around but as soon as you step to the left upon entering, be prepared to eat some amazing, quality food and best of all...at very reasonable prices! I mean c'mon victor where else can you go and get a 16oz. Ribeye with a huge baked potatoe and grilled asparagus for a 20 spot? Outback? NOT. Sizzler NO! Olive Garden? No way, did he really just say Olive Garden!
I am writing this review nearly 16 hours since I ate at the restaurant and I am still high on steak! It was that good..I even Facebooked a pic and right away...hella haters so that only means one thing! It was great!
I started out with a Bacardi cocktail with some fresh lime juice, lemon juice and a splash of grenadine topped off with the best RUM in the world, it was a perfect combination to wet the palate. Next up we had the Blue Cheese salad, very fresh and tasty. Followed that up with some warm whole wheat bread with a little butter like OhhhhhhMG.
Next came the entree within 15 minutes no less, and Wah Lah! Welcome to steak paradise. I will be coming back here to partake in the amazing food and service next time I am in the Sacramento area. 5 stars? yup they deserve it and so do you! Like momma said, Don't cheat yourself, Treat Yo'self! Never. Stop. Eating. -

It's funny how my friends and I meant to go to Dave & Busters that night but ended up here since our shotgunner obviously didn't know how to navigate...
The place is a lot smaller than it looks from the outside. All four of us decided to sit and eat and drink some beer. The food took awhile before it came out and it was just okay... they were super greasy (especially the kalamari) and their burger tasted salty. Eh, I wasn't too impressed with the food... and they didn't have a lot of options since the kitchen was closing soon that night and their happy hour almost ended. Our server was really nice though!
Too bad this place is pretty far... their breakfast looks amazing! -

Over cooked ribs. Fries were good. Hot and crispy with the texture of bk. Lobster roll sliders were disappointing, especially for $16. They added too many lil' bits, so the subtle flavor of the lobster was lost. Chicken wings were very fatty with googly bits. Yuck. Calamari and fried green beans were the best. Ask beer prices before you order because hobgoblin was $8 but moose drool was $2.50. Happy hour wells were a good deal -$3. Also a yelp check in special for $2 domestic droughts.

The left side is dedicated to a restaurant. Nice place minus the open busser station.
The middle of the building is the bar area. They're pretty proud of their 99 beer choices. I had a glass of white wine and it wasn't very cold. ::sad face:: Long bar, lots of tables and TVs.
Both restaurant and bar are open from 6am-2am.
The right side is the gaming area. Open 24 hours.
We came for the Yelp Eats! special. To take part in the 50% off Yelp Eats!, you have to choose two things off the discounted menu. Even better, we came for Yelp Eats! during happy hour so we partook in 50% off food in conjunction with happy hour deals.
And they offered these happy hour deals to us in the dining room. ::happy face::
Happy Hour: all week from 4pm-7pm and 10pm-12am.
$3.95 for a few choice apps.
$2 domestic draft.
$3 wells.
$3 house chard and cab.
Dinner came with bread and butter balls. But, the butter balls weren't placed in plain sight so I thought we got bread and no butter for a while.. It was kinda tucked under the napkin that wrapped the bread.
We started with wings and I asked our server what the difference is between buffalo and hot buffalo.. like how much hotter are they? I was curious. Our server said they only had one kind of buffalo and I didn't feel like pointing out in the menu where it says buffalo, hot buffalo, etc. etc. for the choices of sauce.. She obviously didn't know.
Buffalo it was..
6 wings. Crispy. Lightly coated with sauce and a couple of celery and carrots. Not bad. For $3.95 during happy hour, it's good.
Dinner was decent. On the regular, it seemed overpriced. I tried the Yelp Eats! Steak Diane.. and I would recommend you try something else. It was okay but not even half-off-the-price good.
Dessert-- Our other Yelp Eats! choice-- Coppa Marscapone. This was fantastic. My favorite part of our time here.
We had good service. I like the long hours. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night .. but, I'm thinking for me-- it's ideal for breakfast and happy hour.Listed in: Happy Hour Reviewed

Service is still really slow and poor. Everytime we're in, they tell us that they are short staffed. We really want to keep coming here because it is so close to our house and the prices and food are pretty good, but the service really needs to be improved. I hope they will do something about this soon.

Ok, I'll go 4 stars! Being a Nevadan for the last most of what I can remember of my life, I've been in and out of a LOT of casinos, so I knew what to expect walking in. AND I've had a lot of good beef meals all over the USA. The place is well separated, and from the dining room you don't even know there is a gambling hall. Attentive wait staff, calm surroundings, my prime rib was REALLY good, and a good value for the money. I didn't do any of the Yelp Eats stuff, I wanted to see what they actually offered as a restaurant and bar.
Bar staff, a bit overworked on a Friday night - but very friendly and attentive as they could be nonetheless, they work for that tip - so give it to them! Excellent selection of beers, including a few of my hard to find favorites (but a couple WAY overpriced...hint hint Rogue Brewery charges $3 for that same bottle!). Most of them seem about fair for a nice bar. The bar appeared fully stocked with every top shelf call you could imagine.
Good selection of wines - the girlfriend is a wine snob, and was satisfied with reasonable cost and selection.
And of course it was a happening place, with all kinds of eye candy. People Watching is in season. :)
Definitely not a family or kids place. This is an adult's place. It's close to my new house and I'll be back again. -

I was there last night for a networking event and can say that the little bites and tastes they bought out were fantastic!
I'm not a big casino fan (I'm from Europe and we play roulette more and have far fewer slot machines) but looking around the casino, there were card games being played, and no slots * which made my experience better (Who enjoys that noise and fit-inducing flashing lights anyway?) -

The food at the restaurant is pretty decent.
I would suggest the ribs. (: Yummy yum yum!
check the time before you go because the restaurant close at a different time then the casino.
For the casino, I would suggest the black jack. It's pretty easy to win especially when you bet on the bonus. -

Been hankering for a hunka meat, slider burgers in particular, since Tuesday night when I stumbled inebriated into Inks Eats and Drinks and heard the sad news I had stumbled in too late and they were closed for night. Boo.
Anyways, had sliders on the brain since then. So yesterday being my day off, I thought I'd go on the hunt looking for new slider adventures. I had missed the MiniBurger Truck... dang it! So yelp directed me to a very odd place to find tiny little burgers. Apparently, Cordova Restaurant Casino is the place to be for Kobe Sliders for $3.95... ahhh wahhhh??? Um okay.
Ran through the rain from the parking lot to their very large front doors feeling very doubtful. All misgivings were washed away with one bite of the Kobe Sliders (which incidentally are only served during Happy Hour). Followed by the gulps of Blue Moon sold at $2 a glass. Oh did I forget to mention the yummy Crispy Green Beans appetizer is the bomb too?
I tried the whole happy hour menu, all of it very yummy and priced just right!!!
What are you doing still reading this? Hurry up and go! They are too yummy to pass up. Go!
I'm actually contemplating if I should go again today! -

My husband and I came to this place for Yelp 50% off event. We never heard of this restaurant before. The menu looks pretty good so I wanted to try.
I called them before we left and asked for menu items and prices. They didn't tell me on the phone. When we arrived there we asked for a yelp event menu but still no price shown. They told me they will let me know when we sat down. Okay?! My hubby said it shouldn't be outragous so we sat down.
We ordered cocktail prawn as appertizer, lobster ravioli, grilled salmon and a dessert. Their service is very good and very accomodating. When they heard my hubby likes salmon, they decided to give salmon instead of halibit for fish of the day.
So we got our cocktail prawn. 6 prawns for $14! Are you kidding me? Thinking about 50% off, the price is not that crazy, but still, more than $1 for each prawn. They tasted very good though.
Then we got the entrees. My lobster ravioli only has 4! Since it's a discounted menu, there is no salad or soup coming with the entrees. My husband liked his salmon though. I didn't feel full after I ate my 4 ravioli so I asked more dinner bread, they are free.
In sum, they have pretty good food. We liked all the food we ordered. But I don't think the yelp 50% off event is really 50% off, maybe at most 25% off considering inflated price and reduced amount of food. -
Review from Jason U.
Antelope, CA
I brought the family here for Yelp Eats week. Almost everything we ordered was off the special (limited) menu so it may not be wholly representative of their regular menu.
The location/building in the Rancho Cordova business park is not seedy (that's good). The inside has nice furnishings and the restaurant, bar and casino are well separated. We heard a couple loud cheers from the casino side throughout dinner, but it was no louder than a birthday event at any restaurant. The furnishings, decor and dishes in the restaurant were excellent (with the exception of 1 wobbly table).
The food was great. With a party of 5, we covered almost everything on the Yelp menu. The appetizers were top notch (the shrimp cocktail was our favorite). The main dishes had excellent presentation, though my brother though portions were a little small (everyone else was fine with them). The steaks came as ordered, the fish wasn't dry and the pasta was just right. For dessert, the mouse was very good, but the coppa marscapone was top notch.
The price was definitely on the expensive side (not sure why yelp gives them 2 $), with dinner for 5 (with drinks) coming to just over $100. And that's with almost everything off the 1/2 price menu.
Everyone agreed it was a very nice place, very clean and that we would definitely come back again another night. -

Rancho Cordova, CA
Beer selection is great. The crispy green beans appetizer we had was excellent and the side salad I had before my entree was delicious!
The food took FOREVER to come out, 45 minutes! My husband's burger was cold in the middle and didn't even come prepared the way it was supposed to be according to the menu. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium, which came out charred one side that was then hidden face down and completely brown on the inside, totally overcooked. The portions are quite generous for the price, but the food needed to be cooked correctly for me to value that.
Our server was very nice, checked in frequently to let us know our food was taking longer than expected, but did not refill our water the whole time we were there.
Don't recommend for dinner, but its an excellent happy hour place.
UPDATE:
We've been here several times now, and for drinks and appetizers (bar fare), this place can't be beaten. -
Review from DIANE S.
I didn't have high expectations of the Cordova Casino and thanks to the yelp eats promotion I was able to change my preconceived ideas. I expected some dank, nasty gambling hall with a diner. Instead, I walked into a modern, open space Restaurant with rustic touches. And the food was surprisingly yummy. We ordered the zucchini sticks and wings for apps. Finger licking good! I ordered a chicken salad (not on the Yelps Eats menu). It was just the right amount of food; fresh and not heavy. The menu has a lot to offer; its almost overwhelming. From down home eats (fried food) to light option such as grilled salmon. They have a pretty good happy hour deal and a decent beer selection. Oh and they also have antler horn chandeliers; love it! I am ashamed that I live so close and hadn't scouted out the place before now.

Let me start out by saying, when i was told about this place from a local resident they said "ohh yea. The Cordova Casino. Someone was stabbed there last week. oh wait, no. Someone was SHOT there last week. Right, that was it. shot."
After hearing that i think it was obvious what i was thinking....Shuffle up and deal!!
So when you walk in you go left for the restaurant and right for the "casino". To be fair, the restaurant part looked nice, but i didnt eat there. I turned right not knowing what to expect. Scratch that, it was exactly what i expected...
There were about 3 or 4 tables games (sorry for not having more specifics, this was a few months ago). I believe it was 3 card poker, Blackjack, and some chinese table game. There was also a $1/$2 NL Holdem table which was secluded from the rest. Long story short, i lost a few hundo in a short amount of time. The place wasnt as dumpy as i was picturing, but it certainly didnt have the credibility of a big name casino and something felt shady about the whole thing.
If you're in Sacramento and have a hankering for a quick gamble, then this works. But i would never recommend this place as a good casino. -

Came here for the "free" Executive French Toast offer. For the month of October on Fridays until 10:00 am, you could get one of these. Unfortunately what they failed to mention was that it was a sampler of the full size. It wasn't even in the fine print! So FAIL on that account.
The Cordova Casino occupies the space of the former Bridal Mart. I actually shopped here once! It was so sad when the owners died in a plane crash a few years ago. The space is totally transformed. There is definitely a "lodge-y" feel from the antler door handles to the antler chandelier. Hmm...maybe it's more a "I-like-to-hunt-game" feel.
The restaurant side is to the left and dark earthtones dominate. The key word is DARK. I did like the extra touches such as the weighty silverware with copper accents, cloth napkins and sparkling glassware.
Our server provided great service and didn't mind me bugging him about what makes this French toast so Executive. (Apparently it was named after a former chef who left, so now it is left with this confusing title.) The French toast, what little we had of it, was awesome. Dipped in custard, grilled and baked, it had crunch and a softer, gooier side. Served with maple syrup (the real stuff) and a side of either Canadian bacon, sausage or bacon, the dish itself is quite tasty.
On the other hand, the mini fruit side reminded me of something you would get on an airplane. Precut, pre-packaged in black plastic cup containers, even with my cold I could still detect an off taste. Our server even acknowledged this and promptly took off our beverages from the tab.
Restrooms aren't too flash. Everything is automatic so you don't have to touch anything, except the stall door. They even have a Dyson hand dryer for the environmentally-minded folks.
I ran into fellow Yelper Leah B. here! (Hi Leah!) That was a pleasant surprise.
Prices are pretty reasonable here, so maybe I'll try the REAL Executive French toast one day. -

An associate invited suggested meeting at Cordova Restaurant Casino. This establishment is near my office yet I did not realize this new business had opened in Rancho Cordova.
What a great surprise. It is a very nice property and the service was excellent. The food was top notch and reasonably priced.
We did not venture to the Casino section of the house but do not shy away from this place for an excellent lunch of dinner because of the word Casino. There is an upscale card house here too, but you do not need to be a player to come here for great food and service.
I will be back. And I might explore the Casino side of the house at some point but even if I do not, I know of a new place in Rancho Cordova for first class dinning.
Give it a try! -

Had Valentines dinner at the Cordova Casino.
Pros:
The food was pretty good.
We split the 14 ounce steak with bernaise sauce and it was wonderful with fresh veggies and a half bottle of champagne.
The Service was Great.
The Cons:
The scalloped potatos were not cooked at all. The brought us some of thier wonderful mashed potatos.
We found out they stopped Karaoke on Saturdays... Boo.
Advertise that you have it next time and it will be more sucessful!
I would have given 5 stars if it werent for the "cons"1 Previous Review: Show all »

I really like this place a lot! Heard about the big portioned, reasonably priced food from friends.... so I stopped by after a drunken Friday night to get a late night meal. I got the soup and All in Burger.
The soup was hearty and tasty.... the Fries that came with the burger were super good fries and the burger was excellent! I didn't like the horse radish though, I'll order it without next time, but the burger was big and the meat fresh and cooked to my specifications. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely return again when I am less drunk.... hopefully the alch I consumed didn't make the meal seem that much better than it actually was.... but Im pretty confident that wasn't the case.
Overall, great place to eat.... especially for a late night meal. -

This is now the closest restaurant to my work, so my coworkers and I go there a lot for breakfast, lunch and after work drinks. The lunch menu is OK but the general consensus from my office is that breakfast is where it's at. They serve breakfast 24 hours a day and like all casinos, supplement their food costs with the casino profits.
For $4.95 they offer the Full House: 2 eggs, bacon, sausage or a sausage patty, toast, hashed browns or fruit and 2 pancakes. It's a big breakfast for a small price. It is also really damn good. The meat is high quality and delicious. The eggs have been cooked perfectly every time. The service is good (coffee cup is always full). If you work or live in the area, I would recommend Cordova Casino for a big group or Sunday breakfast. -

Now that we moved I had to re post another great experience at The Cordova Casino
we sat by the Big fireplace in the bar and had a couple of drinks. The beer list has over a 100 beers and the list is awesome beers from all over the world.
We sat down and were treated to another delightful dinner in the lodgy dining room The service was good and the food was great. I had a pork chop special with some amazing ravioli and my wife had prime rib. It was delicious.
We asked who the chef was and she said they had a new manager who was great and improving things. I got to meet this person.... The best part was our entire dinner was like $50
I would totally recommend this place.1 Previous Review: Show all »

A friend told me about this place so I decided to check it out after visiting someone near Granite Bay. I went straight for the bar since I wasn't going to eat anything. It was happy hour when I arrived so I could've gotten a cheap $2 domestic draft but they have a hundred different beers! So, I decided to try something new. I settled on the Weihenstephan Hefeweizen from Germany. It was nice light, fruity, refreshing beer and reasonably priced at $5.50.
I stopped at one beer since I had a ways to drive. However, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area -- they've got lots of other beers that I'd like to try. -

After Joaquin G.'s fabulous review of the steak at CC, I just had to try it for myself to see if this guy knew what he was talkin' bout. Umm, yes, I'll agree to a certain extent that it was a good meal for $19.99, but definitely not fabulous (sorry Joaquin, maybe it was just MY steak). My carnivorous boyfriend and I both had the 16oz ribeye medium-well, with a big baked potato, asparagus, and salad. I also added "grilled prawns" for $10. That was a mistake. I hate when the menu says "prawns" and they serve you little-ass shrimps! There is a difference. And the 6 lil shrimpies (can u imagine $1.66 for each??) weren't even seaoned well. Don't do it.
It was a nice salad of mixed greens, which I should've gotten a vinigarette dressing, but I was expecting iceberg lettuce, so I ordered it with blue cheese. I won't do that again. No bread was offered (do I look like I'm on a low-carb diet? Don't answer that! Just offer me some bread.). Entree came out in a timely manner, and boy, that was a good lookin' piece of meat on my plate. Nice grill marks, good coloring...my mouth was starting to water. Nice Morton's-sized potato too but it was served with a tiny cup of sour cream, no chives, and 2 tiny frozen balls of butter. The asparagus was good, although slightly overcooked. So, my first bite of the steak was a little disappointing. It wasn't tender and I added salt and A-1 sauce to it. I don't EVER put steak sauce or bbq sauce or hot sauce or salt/pepper on my steaks. If it's a quality piece of meat, seasoned and grilled right, I shouldn't need to add anything to it.
But why did I love my boyfriend's steak? Didn't we have the same steak? He was impressed with it. Well, just because I wasn't as impressed with my steak as the men were, I would still rather eat here than at Outback or wherever, especially for the price. And I used my leftover meat in my stir fry the next day, and it was BOMB! -
Review from Ricky N.
Just had a late lunch/early dinner here and again, it was great.
Blaine and Zack have to be my favorite bartenders. They're always welcoming, they remember my usual and they're great at recommending menu items. They're always quick to it and they make your experience even better.
I had the French Dip Sandwich with a side of Sweet Potato Fries and it was fantastic. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned and went well with the Au Jou they served up with it. I loved the mushrooms and cheddar cheese which was nicely melted as well. The Sweet Potato Fries had a great crisp and flavor to them.
CAN IT GET ANY BETTER??
Cordova Restaurant Casino has got to Rancho Cordova's hidden gem. If more people knew about this place, it'd be packed out the door everynight. Maybe it's a good thing... cause I like to just walk in and not have to wait to be seated :)Listed in: Best of Rancho Cordova, HAPPY HOUR time to get HAPPY

Review from Wes S.
Rancho Cordova, CA
Wow, I am a really not smart. I am even slightly ashamed of myself. I left a review and an update for the wrong casino. I wrote a review for Rancho Club and really wanted it for this place. So I will copy and paste it into a big one for this place. These are the moments when I remember I am an idiot.
Part #1 - One of my new favorite things to do is come here on a Saturday morning when I have nothing else going on and play in the morning tournament. It only costs $30, starts at 10:30 and you get free breakfast. They changed the breakfast a little bit, but it is still good. Now it is Eggs, hashbrowns, meat of your choice(sausage, bacon, ham) and toast. PLUS all you can drink coffee. They get around 30 players. It is good times.
Part #2 - Went here last Saturday night which was accidentally the UFC fight night. The bar was packed in a good way because when I go the place is normally empty. All the TV's through the bar, casino and dining area was set to the fights. Which is awesome. And get this, no cover charge. I dont know any other places that do that. Afterwards they had someone on a microphone and perhaps some music. Honestly though the night is kind of a blur.
I enjoy this place. Both for gambling, drinking and eating. Helps that it is close to home too. The workers are SUPER friendly and the whole place has a good atmosphere.
Second Part:
I rolled in here late last week. Right when I walked in I was very impressed with the look of the place. Lots of wood kinda like a fancy cabin with some other touches of the outdoors. The bar is actually pretty big with a nice fireplace in the center. Drinks are probably slightly pricey but nothing to really complain about. Just barely checked out the restaurant but will eat there soon. I played no limit hold em for a while with not much luck and then got lucky and won my money back at the blackjack table. At around 2:30am or so they brought out free sandwiches which is pretty cool. Keeps my Taco Bell cravings down. Anyway, super great to have a nice, small casino near my house. Will be going back often. Actually I want to go there and try the food.
