This is an average theater. You don't go to it see the architecture, to eat, to meet, etc.. You only come to this theater to watch a movie and leave. That is fine, but when there is only one function attributed to such a building, it will only ever fall into, at greatest, the average category.

The people that work here are pleasant and a bit ditzy. I had the guy behind the concessions counter ring up my soda and popcorn and then attempt to give me the $9.50 that I owed him for the movie food. Luckily for him, I was honest and handed him the money that was owed. The popcorn is nothing special and the coke was not up to specs, but was better than many.

I will return to this theater when they are playing movies that I cannot find at a more aesthetically and functionally appealing theater.

RANDOM ABSURDITY: Apparently the guys that patronize this theater have no need for modesty. As I was at the urinal after watching my movie, the gentleman to my left felt it necessary to fully release himself from all constraints while at his urinal. I have never seen a grown man just pull his pants down like that...it is usually saved for 3-5 year olds that don't know any better.

Anachronistic, easy, wrong. Feels like you're going to see an Ally Sheedy movie, which of course you're not. Kind of have to say I love the overly spacious parking lot and the old time-y waiting- on- lines for tickets. Lobby smells like butter. Theaters smell like mildow - that particular Florida mildew smell that is curiously pleasing. I think in the 80's they decided to carpet the walls.

Who you'll see: Lots of old folk clutching thier singles, daring the young whippernsnappers behind the counter to deny them their senior citizen discount. Oh, Soylent Green, where are you when we need you?
