This is my favorite ski area in Colorado, hands down - and that is saying a lot.

What makes Copper excel is several things:

1: Fast lifts
2: Not overly expensive tickets
3: A huge array of terrain, which is generally grouped together from left to right on the mountain. So if you are a newb, well they got your green-back, offering mildly sloping terrain and catwalks on the leftern slope. If you are moderate to advanced, your slopes are to the right of the mountain. If you are a ski-junkie, they also got your bowls and chutes in the back.
4: Copper isn't too far away from your major city centers, whether it be Denver or the Beach.

I've never got bored at Copper and I've never gotten frost-bite either (damn you Cooper!). Copper also has a bunch of deals on lift tickets with other areas close by and their season pass isn't horribly over-priced either.

If you are out of state and looking for a ski get-away - forget Vail and Aspen - come here.

Fun spot. Went with a group of friends and we all had a blast. Staying in the village means your close to the lifts, which was a plus.

On average I felt that some of the blacks were really closer to blue.

I will most certainly go back.
