Service is excellent.
Great menu with many options.
Prices are fantastic especially given the amount of food you get.
I agree with the posts stating that the food needs salt. Definitely added salt to my gravy. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it wasn't great. I'd give it a 3 out of 5. The hash browns and eggs were great.
I would go again and try something different.
Love the cabin feel atmosphere.

Great service, good food and comfortable atmosphere. Recommend getting there early for lunch, tends to get packed by 11:30-12. Breakfast same, get there early.

Mike R.Los Angeles, CA29071244Mar 30, 2024we ate at cope's for breakfast again last weekend. the food is so good i can't stop eating. one thing i want to mention is how the sausage patties are so delicious and crispy!! you also get a pancake instead of toast. how can you pass that up? we try to eat there everytime we drive through bakersfield.

Best breakfast in Bakersfield hands down. My children beg to go here every time we try and go out for breakfast.

Chicken breast loaded with ham, bacon, onion rings, bbq sauce & melted cheese on grilled sourdough. The pastrami sandwich is alway delicious! No matter what you order from Knotty Pine it's always fantastic. Friendliest waitresses as well.
