As far as pub food goes this fits the bill.Lots of appitizers, salads, and sandwiches to choose from, all pretty good, one of my favorites is the"Red Auerbach" corn beef and pastrami piled high.with deli mustard, comes with fries or onion rings. Burgers are also pretty good
with plenty of combos to satisfy most anyone.

Better than average selection of beers, lots of TVs with all the games on

Good mix of young and older crowd.Servers and bar staff are all friendly and helpful.Great place to catch the game or quick dinner.

This has become a regular place for me to drop in for a burger and beer when the week gets too busy. It has so many TV screens showing probably every live game in US sports at any one time. Friday nights and Sunday afternoon seem to be the busiest. they have great, underline, GREAT burgers. I am a ground beef lover when it comes to all things burger and this place really does a good one! The El Tiante is my In hte words of Rachel Ray, YUMMO!!! Did I mention they have a shed load of beers on tap. You gotta check this place out.

I'm giving it 4 stars because the place does get overly crowded at times and can ruin the experience. Although, no matter how packed it has gotten, the food is still put out on time. I've never had any problems with service here in all of the 20+ times I've been.

I don't want to like this place. But I do anyway.

If Baker's Square (I'm not sure if they have these in Boston) was a bar, this would be it. Their surprisingly good food is a bit overpriced. On the bright side, they have a wide selection of beer, most of which are very reasonably priced. On a Friday night, spending less than $6 per beer is refreshing. I like that their is music on, but it's not so loud that you can't hear your friends talk. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way for the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, but since I live nearby it's definitely worth stopping in for a beer or late night snack.

Holy crap, they have new menus. Unfortunately, that's not enough to bring them to five stars. Keep it up, guys. Maybe when your buffalo wings are sectioned and are actually spicy will you get five stars.

Hours: Great. Only place in Brookline that seems to serve food until 1:30 am.

Fries: Wonderful. Oversized portions.

Beer: Fresh and yummy.

But only three stars because the chicken parmesan sandwich just wasn't all that. For nearly $10, I expected better. That said, I'd come back to scratch that late-night itch -- this time with a beer and some nachos on my table.

Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, you do a lot of things well.

You rock the sports bar/pub/neighborhood scene with the best of them. TV's a plenty and a plethora of seating, from bar stools and high tops to tables and even some comfy benches. Your beer selection, both tap and bottle, is everything I'd want/need when watching the game, eating a hamburger or just throwing back a few with a friend. Your onion rings? With Horseradish mayo? Killer.

But you know what could use a little work? Your buffalo chicken sandwich, the one you so fondly call "The OJ Simpson." Now I know this is pub food, so I am not looking for gourmet, but this was quite possibly one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. Chicken so thin you could almost see through it, with a hardly any buffalo sauce, topped with bacon (which was done right) and slapped between the biggest bread I've ever seen. Each piece was an inch and a half thick and completely drowned out any taste of chicken or buffalo.

Good thing for onion rings and Blue Moon!

Wow. Reading the reviews of this place makes a person think that Bostonians are a picky bunch. We stopped in for dinner while in town to look at colleges and it was great. The menu is ridiculously big which is fun. The Guinness was cold, perfectly poured and brought quickly. The people weren't necessarily friendly but I didn't go there to make friends so who cares? The burger was gigantic and my friend's caesar salad looked good.

What's there to complain about? I'd go back.

Coolidge Corner Clubhouse has this funny way of pointing out irony.

It involves the fact that the place is small and somewhat cramped, but they give you a menu that would be at home hanging on a wall in a dorm room rather than in the hands of a customer. This juxtaposition only makes the menu more overwhelming and the dining area feel smaller.

The size of the menu does allow for it to house some impressive selections, however. One standout is the onion rings and the horseradish dip they come with. As Leighann said, 'killer.' That about sums them up.  Burgers are always a good choice here - I've found with pub food, sticking with the basics is a good way to end up satisfied. Thankfully, many of the menu items are basic, but with enough of a twist to satisfy the adventurous in your party. Some fall short - not in taste, but for odd qualities. For example, the Beer Battered Chicken sandwich is tasty, but it's almost too massive in some areas to be truly enjoyable. When you slam a chicken breast in between two pieces of bread, it's almost a chore to eat it.

I've never had bad service here, but I can't say it was exceptional, either. I didn't expect five-star service, though - the waitresses I've had are nothing to complain about, but you won't be doing cartwheels in their names either.

While it seems I may be coming down on the CCC, such is not the case. It's definitely a favored restaurant in the Coolidge Corner area. It's just minor gripes that knock it from a higher rating. As it stands, the CCC earns a very firm 4. It can teeter into the three range at times, but I'll be gracious.

HUGE portions, incredible amounts of options, small place. If you do the math, you know you are going to have to wait for a while for a table here.

First things first: the nachos. If you see a waitress walk by with a HUGE plate of nachos, the size of half her body, that's a half order. Even with 4 people, we've never attempting the full order. I don't think I've ever even SEEN the full order. It probably scares small children. Nachos here are an art: Fresh, fresh, FRESH (I can't stress this enough) Tortilla chips in a mound, covered with layers of chili, cheese, salsa, peppers (if you want them), and general deliciousness. The key to these nachos is the layers. Its not just all piled on top and you get to the bottom and all you have is chips. No, here every layer has the same ingredients. Fantastic.

Like I said, they have a HUGE amount of options here, and a huge menu. Any sandwich you get will be fine. Nothing too amazing.

The nachos bring them from 3 stars to 4 in my opinion.

Also, good beers on tap, lots of TVs, all showing different events (not just 8 tvs showing the same game like most bars).

My friend Michelle was in complete shock that I had not been here, considering I could live off of nachos and be perfectly happy. She said the nachos here were "life changing". After our visit this past weekend, I would have to agree - they are life changing. I am not a huge fan of chili either but wow these are great. The half portion was big enough for 3. The cheese was evenly distributed and melty.  The chili was so good and I'm not a big chili fan.  GUAC and sour cream on top and a nice little side of extra salsa for myself - perfecto! The beers were cold and the staff was really friendly. That makes this more of a 3.5 review.

As far as the rest of the gigantic menu goes, it's mostly sandwiches, roll-ups and burgers - all with clever sports-related names. I chose to go with a burger with peppers, onions, and provolone ("The Rocky...something"). There are lots of options for sides - I choose the curly fried, yummm. The burger was okay, I would probably try something different next time....and with nachos like they make here, there WILL be a next time.

Great beer selection, they must have at least 20 on tap.  Giant (possibly an understatement) food portions, and generally pretty damn tasty.  The nachos are ridiculously good too.  I've only ever ordered a half order ot them and their half order is far bigger than a full size order at most places.  They only lose a star because the food is a little pricer than some simillar places, but then again the portions probably aren't as big elsewhere.  Bring your appetite and your drinking shoes.

I've been a dedicated 14+ year customer of the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse and am simply mystified at some the recent experiences I've had with some of the managers when the owner isn't there...  Here is the latest one in the past few months:

I was there with a friend the other night for a late dinner. (Of which they changed their marinara sauce, and really need to change it back to what it was!)  There is usually a trivia question written up on a whiteboard whereas if you answer it you receive a free desert or something.  My friend and I see the question and immediately have an answer.  We tell our server and she goes and checks with the manager and comes back and tells us we're wrong.  We know we're right, there's no doubt about it.  When even proceeded to double check it online via my BlackBerry and it's 100% correct.  We tell them that their info is outdated and the stats book they're using is likely from the previous season (labeled 2009 but released in 2008), as this record was set in the last NFL season.  The waitress said the manager has made a decision and it is final and she politely apologized.  They were simply wrong.  But this wasn't where we had our problem...  While irritated they were telling us we were wrong, we weren't that bothered and were just going to let it go and continue having a good time.

What happened next defies anything I've ever seen in restaurant customer service.  The manager, Amy, comes to our table and essentially picks a fight with us in what is perhaps the most obnoxious disturbing interaction I have ever had in my entire life in a restaurant.  Her attitude was beyond disgusting.  Between telling me she didn't care what the Internet said, then telling me "that's nice" when I showed her the proof, to telling me "well, I think you should take this up with Sports Illustrated, the publisher of the sports almanac." (Which I pulled up their CNN-branded site, showed her the correct statistic and that hers was the previous record, in which she laughed, smiled, and told me to have a good night.

This is the fight they put up over giving away a $5 desert?  Of which we didn't even care, it was the principal on how they were treating us.

Unreal.

Again, I'll possibly go back...  Great place, great food, bad managers (except when the owner is there).  But I'm not sure some of my friends will.  Good job CCC management, way to lose customers over bad attitudes.

This place is right around the corner from my house, but we always wind up going to Our House instead of the Clubhouse. To me, it's always been more of a restaurant than a bar. You can't move around or really socialize here. It's cramped and waitresses are always trying to get past you unless you're bellied up to the bar.

The food is serviceable, but not as flavorful as all the legendary sports names on the 2 foot, 6 page menu would lead you to believe. It's just OK, and not cheap enough for that. The beers are steep too and there's no cheap option for people like me who don't mind slumming it.

It's crazy that this is about the only bar in coolidge corner besides the tiny Corrib Pud several blocks down the road. i guess the locals don't want last callers being as loud as we are when we close this place down. Maybe we're just compensating for the lack of excitement at this ho-hum bar. Good for lunch I guess.

I meet some friends here for a soccer game. I'm given the menu and am automatically taken to the pizza hut commercials with the giant menus. I have never seen one place offer SO many choices. It's a little overwhelming, but cool at the same time.  The bar is nice, pretty big, I was there during the afternoon so it wasn't cramped. The drinks were meh. nothing bad, but nothing i'd want to go back for. The food was good, typical bar food. Tho the chicken and rice soup was great. The tv's are a little small, but you have multiple choices and they're so close to your seats, it's not terrible.
The prices are a little steep for what you're getting, but tit's a chill place. I'd go to meet some friends again.

Despite some other reviews -  I have to defend CCC's OJ Simpson

First of all - kudos on the name. A bit ballsy to name your sandwich after on the the most infamous characters over the past couple decades, but if you're going to go for gold - you gotta nail it...which they do.

No, they don't give your 16 chicken breasts in one sandwich, but if you ask me, food isn't about the size - it's more about the quality.  I thought the buffalo sauce had a perfect kick to it which left a lasting taste and a little heat that your looking for when ordering Buffalo.

If you want Quality Buffalo - hit up CCC
If you want volume Buffalo - Call Dominoes and order a dozen kickers

Let me start off by saying I have never eaten here so this review is just for the bar services/offerings...

I was a regular at CCC when I lived in Coolidge Corner.  It's basically the only decent bar in Coolidge Corner and it definitely exceeded my expectations.  They have a TON of reasonably priced beer on tap and a group of really friendly group of customers and servers/bartenders.  I always had a great time here, despite the fact that it is usually packed (even on weeknights), and definitely miss living right down the block.

I never fully appreciated just how many beers the CCC has on tap. I had told Joe that they had a few, but had forgotten is was more like 15 or 20! AND they had my beloved Sam Adams Cherry Wheat on tap! And Joe had a very yummy Harpoon Maple Wheat as well that was delicious! And the beer is only $5.50!

Sandwiches were a lot better this time around, and I was very full by the time I finished! Good thing both Joe and I didn't have the curly fries, because they literally give you almost a plate full!

Definitely enjoyed my time here way better than the first! And even though it was a packed house, we still got a table 10 minutes after we had arrived. Excellent

Nothing too great.  It's your traditional American restaurant with your traditional American menu.  I've been there for both lunch and breakfast.  I had a burger for lunch and it was okay.  The breakfast was decent as well.  If you're hungry, and just want something to eat for a decent price, this is your spot.  The plus to this place is that the portions are huge.  I don't think I've ever finished a full meal here.

I come here for their nachos. The nachos are the second best in the city, behind Sunset Bar and Grill. A half order is more than enough for two people, so do NOT get a full order. I was offended when the waitress assumed I wanted a half order. Did she not think I could eat them all? Pfffffff. However, good thing she knew better than I.

While their menu is absolutely ginormous, I've never been too impressed with anything else I've ordered. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's pretty hard to mess up any type of greesy bar food. Outside of the nachos, I prefer the 'bar food' at the Harp, Kinsale, The Hill, Boston Beer Works,  The Fours, and Sunset Bar and Grill.

They have a huge drink menu including martinis, mixed drinks, and other concoctions. I think their attempt at the drinks is better than the outcome, but they taste good and will do the trick.

This place is tiny, so come early before any popular game for a chance to snag a seat.

JP Licks for dessert afterwards!

Had a mediocre time here when I was looking for a bite to eat in Coolidge Corner a while back. Maybe it was the atmosphere of the sports trivia guy trying to lead some kind of unofficial-seeming one-man trivia night that was relatively annoying  -- though I must admit he was very smart and knew his trivia, the quarters were just too cramped for it NOT to be annoying, and no one was really into it.

The food was the worst part. Clam chowder was watery and salty, exactly as another reviewer noted. General bar food was nothing special. Waitresses had the odd demeanor of being annoyed with us for being in their restaurant, which isn't a great way to act toward customers. All in all a weird, disappointing experience.

On the plus side, it looked like they had a ton of beers on tap, lots of televisions, and the nachos that went by looked pretty amazing. So, I had a bad experience with this place as a restaurant, but maybe it does better at being a sports bar. If that's your kind of place, maybe check it out, but I wouldn't expect much more.

It was like I died and went to sports heaven.  Murals, pictures, TV's with multiple football games, sandwiches and burgers named after sports heroes...

Then I realized that, with the exception of the Sox, I'm not even a sports fan.

That being said, the service was awesome.  Very attentive waitress... It's a small place, and it was packed... and she still managed to take care of us promptly and with a smile.

The food.

Pretty awesome.  Not orgasmic... but awesome.  I had the Jason Veritek, and it was piled high with delicious fresh corned beef.  The fries are plentiful with the sandwiches... so abundant in fact, that they give you an extra plate.  But, the fries aren't that special.  Yes, they are curly, but they're exactly standard curly fries.  Nothing to boast.

If you're stuck in Coolidge Corner, it's a cool place to patronize.

If you're able to venture outside the bubble -- do it.

I used to suffer panic attacks coming into the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse.  The place is jam-effing-packed, especially (and obviously) when a sports game is on one of its eight billion HDTVs.  There's so much TV you swallow and breathe TV.  So if you're not into TV, you're not into the CCC.

The waitstaff is good.  I was able to manipulate the hostess into giving my incomplete party of five the biggest table in the joint, despite only 4 out of 5 of us being there and the big sign that says "We will not seat incomplete parties."  Just ooze charm and do what you want.

The menu is too big for words and frankly, some of the choices sound exactly the same save minor tweaks.  The food comes promptly and tastes good.

Out of state licenses need to be checked for 18 minutes at the bar, just so you know.  Oh, and sitting at the bar isn't recommended.  There are so many taps (a good thing) that the bartender, usually a short female, cannot see your eager not-drunk-yet-but-getting-there face to take your order.  It helps to be tall.  I am not tall.

Huge portions of food. I've been here twice now and I'm pretty sure I got the same sandwich both times (the Manny Ramirez BBQ chicken). The biggest piece of chicken I've seen on a sandwich and the plates are overflowing with delicious curly fries (plain curleys, not seasoned). The menu is pretty overwhelming though. There has got to be about 75 different sandwiches and burgers to choose from and I swear some of them have to be repeated.

Simplify the menu and they'll get that 4th star.

I really love this place for some good bar grub. Their selection on tap is always a treat and its nice to have such good french fries so close. I love their burgers and their sandwiches are really great. I'm a big fan of the raw veggie wrap. Granted, I could prob make that at home and it'd be just as good.

The problem I have with this place is the waitstaff. I'm sure working in a sports bar in Coolidge Corner sucks, let's all be honest. But, I've run into one too many waitresses who are not happy to be at work, serving me or smiling in any way. It's even hit the point that when the bf and I go there and find a waitress who is nice we'll write her a note letting her know that we appreciated her friendly style.

You can always overhear some crazy conversations here and the crew at the bar is constantly commenting on whatever's on the tube.

I'm not too keen on the prices though. EVERYTHING is $10. For a burger and fries? Gimme $9. Please!

My grudge with this place is that though they have a great tap selection, the beer that comes out is absolutely Disgusting. I don't know if it is because the glasses are never cleaned properly or because the lines on the taps haven't been cleaned since they were installed... but every time i have ordered one, it is flatter than can be and it tastes like a mix of the last 3 beers on that tap.

I actually sat at the bar last time i was there, and every beer came out flat... i couldn't believe it! While they do have a bottle selection (what i now choose from if I do go there), it is limited, and of the domestics, bud heavy is about it.

I am giving CCC 2 stars because i have never experienced bad service there (unlike some other reviewers) and their food is great (the menu is ridiculously huge, both is size and number of options).

As the only bar in my neighborhood, I would be so appreciative if they could remedy the tap beer issue - because i would live there otherwise.

I have a love hate relationship with this place.

Things I love:

-Their NACHOS. They are HUGE (even the 1/2 size is enormous) and sooo good. Once, my friends and I made a bet with the guys in the apt. above me that we couldn't eat an entire full order. 5 of us girls went and did it. It was not easy and I don't think I ate nachos for at least 6 months after that.

-The menu is extremely extensive and the prices are really good.

-I live close by and it's a great little casual place to go to at the last minute.

Things I hate:

-I don't think I've ever had a friendly server or bartender at CCC.

-It always seems dirty and they don't clean the tables well in between parties. It's also really small inside.

-It always seems like a lot of "townies" are hanging out at the bar and I always get hit on by much older men here.

-The menu is huge, in size. It's so long, it's hard to hold (awkward date spot). Also, all the sandwiches are named after sports stars, so you actually have to read each item's description in order to figure out what it is (I don't know why these things bother me).

So, I'm sure I'll go back because it's close and convenient, but often when posed with the choice, my friends and I just go to JP Licks instead.

This place thoroughly confuses me.

I'm a sports fiend, so I enjoy going to sports bars, and I especially love going to more upscale sports bars and having a fabulous meal while having my choice of games to watch on nice big-screen tvs.  Enter the CCC.  They have a nice-sized space and they actually do put on games other than ones played by Boston teams:  you just have to ask them.  (Nicely.)

I like their huge menu and their even huger portions (though I do think they serve each menu item as if every customer was of David Ortiz's size... I know that we live in a More is Marvelous sort of world these days, but I don't need a sandwich as large as my plate with another plate of fries on the "side"... )

But sadly, where CCC falls short is for brunch.  I love the choices on the brunch menu, but everything I've tried tastes kind of bland.   I happen to be very picky about what people call "home fries" and I am sorry to say that CCC does not know how to prepare "home fries".  Putting some potatoes on a plate and seasoning them with paprika and parsley does not make them home fries.  So please just take that off of the menu and write "side of potatoes."

I've always been apathetic about the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse.  It always felt like a run-of-the-mill sports bar: cheesy football murals, lots of TVs, sports bar food, lots of beer.

But there are a few things about the CCC that tickle my fancy:

1. Their cocktails are plentiful in variety - and actually quite good!

2. I, for one, LOVE sandwiches, and am not intimidated by a vast menu.  In fact, it only makes me want to come back again and again until I try them all.

3. THE LOBSTER ROLL!  Peep the picture I uploaded.  This might possibly be the best one I've had in Boston.  Huge, intact pieces of lobster, close to completely plain (v light on the mayo), on a perfectly toasted New England bun.  And in my eyes, a pretty good value.

I've never experienced poor service here, and they've always been good about accommodating special requests (the bf has a tendency to ask for his fries "extra crispy," and they obliged).  Only complaint is that it gets crowded, but not that big of a deal.

PS - The one thing that is weird is they are the only place I know that puts bacon on their caeser salad - even more ironic bc they are in the middle of super-Jewish Brookline.  huh?

Nothing is funnier than unhappiness, I grant you that. . . . Yes, yes, it's the most comical thing in the world.  I am wrong.  Nothing is funnier than a sports fan's unhappiness.  This is served in spades.

Eat your idols.

Nothing to be done.

I used to love this place because my roommate worked there so i'd get hooked up with crazy strong mixed drinks, my favorite being a chambord margarita served in a pint glass. now that i'm not getting hooked up, i still will go by once in a while, but this place has lost its appeal.  the food is good, mounds of fries served with a ridiculous number of sandwiches named for sports figures.  I typically go for the O.J. simpson, which is grilled chicken with buffalo sauce and bacon.  The ambiance there is lacking, with crowded booths and randomly placed tables, and its super loud.  Prices are decent.  I'd go by, but if there was a wait, id probably rather go somewhere else.

Food is decent. Very typical bar food. The service on the other hand deserves negative stars. The waitress was apparantly too cool to be serving and acted as if we were a bother to her. She came by twice and sent another sever the rest of the time who also was too good to be a server. Well maybe we'll give it another shot months down the road since it's nearby but for the time being I don't see myself going back...

It's a sports pub.  So IMHO it's supposed to be crowded, supposed to be a little loud and the food is going to be bar food.  I had a respectable bacon cheeseburger there tonight.  Service at the bar was fast.  The only thing I can complain about is that the bathroom is the size of an airplane bathroom.

This review is way over due. My boyfriend and I have been coming to this place at least once a month for almost two years and adore it. The bar staff is amazing (I'm looking at you Megan!) and the food is incredibly consistently good. Burgers are always cooked the way your order them and everything is always hot and fresh, and we are usually in there late night!  In addition to lots of beer on tap, it has a great martini selection--I've tried lots of them with my friends and they are all excellent.  As a bonus, the portions are huge and I always leave stuffed. We love the teriyaki wings (with bones), the curly fries, and the mud pie.

Other tips: Trivia Monday is lots of fun AND if you live in the area this is a great place to get take out as well.

WHY AREN'T NEGATIVE STARS AN OPTION?
Don't go here for lunch unless you have at least 90 minutes. Today our party sat down at 12:05, ordered by 12:15... and got our very large order (um, FOUR sandwiches!!!) at 1:10. NO JOKE. I asked for a to-go box before the food ever came since I was on my lunch hour. Sad thing is, I had friends from out of town meet me in CC for lunch, and we REALLY wanted to go to  Zaftig's but that place is usually so crazy busy. Clubhouse sucks. I'm embarrassed I brought them here. I packed up my grub, wished them a safe flight home, and ran back to the office. We may have had to wait for a table at Zaftig's, but the food is always worth the wait... WHICH IS NEVER AN HOUR!!! Needless to say, I had to wolf down 'Tom Brady' at my desk, and now feel totally sick. Not to mention all my paperwork is covered in Boursin cheese. D-Bags!!!!!!!

I went here a year or two ago for my birthday. The only reason being, it is close by my parents house, and I figured less yuppies would be here, cause a game was on.

I was wrong about the yuppies, right about the game. Carded no less than three times (seems silly on a week day, when a doorman is working) but understandable... in some lights.

The bartenders were nice, the waitresses left a little to be desired. The nachos were decent. My dad got almost all the girly drinks on the menu (including, but not limited to cosmo and chocolate martini) and I got what seemed to be kind of sloppy pints (obviously spashed by somebody clumsy, and had large heads)... I have yet to be back.

STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!This place has decent food-pricey for bar food but only decent american in area-- However if you go whether there is only 2 or 10 people at bar you have to wait for drinks while waitress' have thier flirt or conversations about thier life but TODAY I couldnt believe what hostess did-- Lindsay should be fired if she was an employee of mine she would be-- i manage 30 people and if i ever saw an employee treat potential customer the way she did me - she would no longer have a job- I went in there today and wanted lunch- bar was packed and i really wanted lunch not to drink- went into restaraunt part and was started to be lead to table when Lindsay then asked for how many I replied 1 - she then told me ooooh well for (1)one that will be about 20-30 min. even tho they had 3 tables available!!!!! I left and went down the street and came back by and guess what the same 3 tables were empty!!!!!! There is other discrimination besides ones color and this establishment needs to be aware of how they treat people-I was advisedby Lindsay I could go to bar that was too busy  there would have been no way to sit and eat.  As someone mentioned previously the only time you will get good service is when owner/manager  is in establishment--If it wasnt for location this place would never be able to make it......

Went here for breakfast/lunch last weekend.  My fiance had the nachos.  She got the BBQ chicken ones that are supposed to be a half order.  Well for a half order they were HUGE!  more than enough for 3 people.  I had the breakfast burrito.  It was quite large, but not a lot of flavor.  It was good tho.  I added extra salsa so that helped.  It is a smaller place with alot of TVs.  They had a variety of shows on (mostly sports).  Looks like a fun place to come in the evening for a beer and watch the game.  Will come back.  Would recommend.

Ugh. Horrible. Awful. Wretched.

The only reason I ever show up at this place is if I'm going to a midnight movie at Coolidge Corner Theatre and want a place to get a drink before the show. It's always cramped with guys with too much gel in their hair. The beers are poured pretty horribly. I've never tried the food, but I don't plan to. Also, there's a weird mix of too much testosterone, with the 500 TVs set to sports channels, and too little testosterone, with the bump-chick-bump-chick bad dance music blaring at 500 decibels.
