Went there for Tony the D's broad's birthday brunch.
When I showed up Tony the D was not happy with the table but eventually his anger subsided and was able to focus on eating.
I thought the presentaiton of the food was terrific....I got the Frittata and my wife got the huevos rancheros (which in spanish means Eggs Rancheros).  Not the best food I've had but I found the price to be reasonable and the presentation to be perfect.  They also comped us desert because they didn't want to piss off Tony the D.  I thought that was a nice touch.

I have immense gratitude for whoever thought to use Amy's Bread semolina/raisin/fennel bread for the vanilla marscapone toasted almond French Toast.  The Bloody Mary's are ridiculous if you like a twang of ginger in your hair of the dog.

My table had shaky legs, and for a brunch date that I'm sure cost $100+, we shouldn't have to shim the table with organic sugar packets.

The server offered a free dessert for having run out of celery for our Bloody Ms.  A gesture like that doesn't go unnoticed.

Back in NYC my parents were staying at a hotel right next door to CookShop.

The second time it was equally, superbly delicious.  This time I had the poached eggs, cheese grits and sausage.  It still wasn't that much food for the price, but soooo amazingly good.    The balance of flavors was perfectly harmonious and spot on.  It was one of the best sausages i've ever placed  in my mouth, ever.  (get your mind out of the gutter!!)

This time we dined in November so no outdoor patio.  The inside was bustling even at 3p.

I ate here a while back and had the world's best bloody mary.  Is anything else really important?

At brunch, there's definitely a scene - young groups convened at the bar and at the tables, atmosphere is fun but not too loud so that you can't hear your friends.  Service was sweet, the food - we all got the salmon and eggs - was fresh and delicious.  Extra points for knowing it's organic!

Brunch is my favorite meal.  Especially if it has froyo!
Of course went for the parafait: homemade frozen yogurt , granola and fruit.
I need to update later on after I've tried more and to go for dinner.

Brunch is my favorite at Cookshop.

I've tried almost EVERYTHING on their menu, as I live a couple of blocks away from the establishment.  My favorites are the huervos, the pulled pork sandwich, and the cookshop scramble.  Cookshop has also restored my faith in excellent bloody marys - so I always get one (or two) during my brunch.

Not sure if they have this on their dessert menu - as they're always changing something - but if they do, please try the Banana Sundae.  Whooooaaa mama - that is SO good.  So good, you might want to get them to invest in proper sundae spoons so you could scrape up every last bit in the fountain glass they serve it in.

I've tried their dinner menu - but wasn't impressed.  It was "good" - but not memorable at.all.

Basis of review: light, early Sunday dinner at the bar

I love the ambiance of this place. The lines are clean and modern, but the lighting is soft and warm, the perfect respite from a rainy fall day in NYC. The squid salad was tasty, if not necessarily anything to write home about, and their cider cocktail matched the season -- even over ice. But I think my favorite was actually the breadsticks: warm, crisp, salty and slightly buttery with an addicting herb aioli.

I'm so glad that I was able to make brunch reservations on Opentable b/c when I arrived, there were at least 15 people waiting to be seated.  Don't you just get that giddy, happy feeling when you walk up to the hostess table to check in and then are immediately taken to your seat, bypassing all the hungry chumps who didn't have the foresight to call ahead?  Sorry, is that petty?  Point is, make a reservation!

As big as Cookshop is, it was definitely packed.  The noise level was lively bordering on raucous, so I don't think this would be a great date night spot, but it's perfect for Sunday brunch with your pal(s).  My friend and I were having difficulty narrowing down our choices for entrees after we both agreed upon the ricotta beignets (4) with plum compote.  So we did the only reasonable thing and decided to split our orders - best of both worlds, hooray!

I got the Cookshop scramble (3 eggs w/crème fraiche, caramelized onions, apple smoked bacon), which came atop a homemade biscuit (warm, buttery, moist!) and a side salad.  The eggs were flavorful and fluffy, and the biscuit was a perfect companion to them.  My friend got the french toast, which was sprinkled with slivers of almonds, blackberries and powdered sugar - it hardly needed the maple syrup, but what's a little overkill amongst friends?  The slices were very thick and soaked up the syrup quite nicely.  The beignets were good, but definitely not as transcendent as the ones you get in New Orleans, and we both thought the compote was superfluous.

It turned out to be quite a lot of food, but we were both determined to finish every last morsel.  It helped that service was really good about leaving us alone and never rushing us. We spent a good hour and a half eating and catching up, which meant not feeling like totally overblown whales by the end of the meal.  I'll be back for more!

P.S.  There are two extra bathrooms around the corner.  People were being very helpful about pointing this out to each other, but keep it in mind anyway.

I went here for dinner Friday night.  My friend lives nearby and had gone for brunch several times and was a big fan.
The good: my drink was tasty--gin and jersey...it was great.
Perhaps dinner is just not their thing...I had the suckling pig and friend had the duck and both were bad.  No flavor out of duck and suckling pig? there is something wrong with that...other friend had salad and that was good.  So I guess they have decent brunch and they can make a salad but save your $30 bucks and don't bother with the dinner entrees.  terrible.  i will not be back

This is the second time my boyfriend and have had dinner here with my parents and I stand by my opinion that cookshop is really, really, really good- but short of great.  All of our entrees were perfectly cooked but the funnel cake dessert was pretty lame and our appetizer, a gogonzola pizza was just okay.  The service is always really attentive and sommelier gave us a great red wine that I loved.

I'll be back though- to see if they can perfect this almost-there restaurant.

Delicious breakfast only one block from the highline park, what more could you want?  Seriously i dont think you could plan a nicer way to spend an afternoon (unless of course you add a stroll through little italy, a visit to an art gallery show on new york storefronts, and end your day at a famous old italian pastry shop).

Add cookshop to the list  of NY ":clean plates" restaurants-- great food prepared from fresh organic ingredients.  The orange juice might have been the freshest I've ever had.  The little southern twist on some of the menu items was great (mmmm grits, and biscuits), but i preferred the scramble with salmon, chives, creme fraiche and a side green salad.  Everything looked amazing, tasted amazing, was amazing.

I love Cookshop.

First, I like the space. I can come here for brunch or dinner and I never feel like I'm sitting in the lap of the table next to me. It's a very comfortable, cozy space -- not pretentious at all.

Second, I like the service. Just the right amount! Proficient, and unobtrusive. I never feel like I get interrupted by a server, but they are usually within reach if we need something.

Third, the food is thoughtful, locally sourced, clean and offers something for everyone. I know I can come here with family or friends and be taken care of!

Fourth, value for money. All of these things mean that while I don't go out to eat as much as I used to, when I do go out, I want a great meal, and something I can't cook at home. I never, ever leave here regretting having spent the money -- I wish I could say that about more places these days!!

Lively atmophere, great brunch.

I had deviled eggs and the most amazing pancakes with caramelized bananas and cinnamon butter. I also got to try the turkey sandwich which had a nice sweetness to it from the berry jam. Very reasonable pricing. Great place to bring friends, a little loud for a date.

After waiting 45 mins at Tia Pol down the street only to be told that it would be an additional 25 min wait, my group of 4 and I decided to head down 10th Ave in search of something better, something to show tia pol, HA! And also, we were getting pretty hungry.

No surprise, after veto-ing the diner across the street, we were sold by the cookshop, pretty much the first restaurant we passed by. We were seated pretty much immediately, in a booth and within first 5 minutes of being handed the menus, a list of amazing entrees were listed and in-decisions soon followed. Everything sounded wonderful - the menu seemed innovative, definitely new american.

In the end, i settled for the suckling pig, which was an absolute delight to eat. The peaches were the perfect compliment to the dish, and the balance of flavors were fantastic. The greens on the plate also provided a tangy-ness, more acidic balance, which somehow made the plate lighter. My fellow diners ordered scallops, lamb (soft, almost fall off the bone with great flavor), and duck (delicious!).

The portions were huge, and by the time we've licked our plates clean, we had no room for dessert....but this simply means that i'll be returning to sample more of their deliciousness.

I just wish every restaurant was like Cookshop. Unfortunately, if they all were as fabulous then there would be no need for Yelp. So on the positive side of things my experience was a refreshing breath of perfect dining that I'd only experience if I was a woman of leisure living in Chelsea with my famous journalist husband and our golden retriever. But I digress.

Strolling in out of the blaring heat for Friday lunch, we were seated kindly under a vent and water quickly appeared under our noses. The waitress was sweet, friendly, informative and gave us the lunch specials with the price tag appended. Though the deviled eggs looks divine, my appetite didn't leave room for anything besides the pulled pork sandwich (see my photo). Sandwich was tasty - not the best PP I've had but surely easy to gobble down. The pickle on top made my meal - I seriously squealed. My friend's duck comfit salad (from the special menu) looked equally divine and since her plate was left clean - I think she liked it! Our Bloody Mary's were absolutely perfect - definitely the best I've had in NYC so far.

We were so revved up after this all-star meal that we decided to swing by Appellation next door on our way back to the apartment since as ladies of leisure, the best way to enjoy a roof deck overlooking the Highline is with a bottle of champagne!

Poster below is totally right on the word "hearty" to describe this place. Came here for dinner and brunch. It's very good American country food with a twist.

For brunch, the staff was very friendly and food came relatively fast. I had the Semolina Raisin French Toast. The vanilla mascarpone cream is a creative addition to the french toast and the almonds give a great texture. I'm not a big Raisin fan but i think it adds just the right amount of acidity so its not overwhelmingly sweet. My date had the Skillet eggs, nothing special except the Grilled Berkshire bacon side was worth mentioning!

As for dinner, it's not really for anyone who prefers a light meal.. It's hard to pick starters when you want to save room for those exceptional entrees. A friend and I managed to share Veal meatballs and the Grilled Squid. The squid was tender, but nothing too special about it. Also, it was def. not meant for sharing. The meatballs were perfectly tender and flavorful, they added abit too much rosemary but I liked it in mine, being a rosemary lover. I like how the menu is divided up into grilled section, sauteed and roast.. I had the sea scallops. They were AMAZING!! I was amongst the few eating seafood, most people had the suckling pig on their plate. Cookshop is a great neighborhood restaurant in Chelsea, one of the few that really lives up to its menu. Being a fan of Five Points, Im not surprised why Cookshop serves great food! Definitely worth going back to!

Cookshop is a wonderful brunch choice in the city--it really gets everything right.

The space is big and airy and sunny, not to mention the fantastic location right next to High Line Park.  My friend got there first and they wouldn't seat her until I got there which is pretty standard for Sunday brunch.  She put her name down and in the time it took me to get there, the place got mobbed.  When i finally showed up, the hostess sat us right away even though by then there was a 45 minute wait.  (note, up until 1pm there was no wait).  I thought that was really great of them--they genuinely seemed like they wanted to keep track of us.  I loved the brunch options.  We started off with deviled egg appetizers which were good but a little paprika heavy for my taste.  The cappuccino was decent.  I ordered the scramble with onions, chives, creme fraiche and added bacon.  It comes on a fluffy biscuit and was really delicious.  The creme fraiche is already mixed in which is definitely not what I expected so I got a side of creme fraiche to put on it.  Much better.  The portions are really generous and the menu features a lot of comfort food (yet creative).  The waitresses and hostesses (every single one of them) were so friendly, it was very impressive.  Everyone went out of their way for us and it was so refreshing.  Usually during Sunday brunch rush, people can be pretty cranky.  Not so at Cookshop.    We finished our scrumptious brunch with a walk on the High Line.  What a perfect New York day....

I have to try Five Points because I'm a fan of Hundred Acres and a fan of Cookshop, and by the law of association, I am sure I will be a fan of Five Points. But I digress...

With an hour's notice we made an 8:00 dinner reservation and headed over to Cookshop. We checked ye olde Yelp for some recs on what to order. Clams? Check. Scallops? Check. Roasted duck too please.

My friend doesn't even like clams. Although, I have to ask him if he likes afro clams (suggestive analogy courtesy of G.M.). He likes them now.

Ended the meal with the banana sundae. At this time, we tried to figure out if we were sitting next to the cast of Glee. Not sure, but they did look happy.

Cookshop was really delightful for dinner.

Decor is beautiful with an airy, "West Elm California" touch to it....natural woods, earthy tones.....

Food is really delicious and resonably priced!  It's not ultra fancy but it's all very good.

The white wine steamed littlleneck clams were delicious and I wish the app had come with more.

The pizza, although very simple sounding & not really ultra visually special was really good!  The doughy crust was just crisp enough and the fresh toppings kicked it up to make this a tasty pizza.

Fried Green tomatos were delish but I wish they came with a spicier, less mayo, more salsa-like dipping sauce.

Deviled eggs lacked the kick that Lure Fishbar has.  (Stil my fav).

Didn't have it but the Hudson Valley Rabbit Rilletes looked and smelled yummy.

My bf got the swordfish entree which was equally memorable.

Heard the brunch is great as well.

Place was jamming on a Wed night, can only imagine a Thurs or Weekend night, reservations are recommended.

Came here for brunch on Sunday and wasn't impressed. We sat outside and ordered a Bloody Mary (spicy and yum), a breakfast mojito (very refreshing), the frozen yogurt parfait with granola and blackberries (my 4 yo son loved it and I thought it was pretty good... cinnamon-y), the white cheddar grits (way, way too salty) and the Huevos Rancheros (HUGE disappointment after having read all the raving reviews). I suppose I was so disappointed because I've had the real deal made by a Mexican friend and it doesn't even compare.

My brother has come here for dinner and even ordered take-out the night before telling me how good the food was (apparently he fed my kids pizza and the lamb trio which they devoured)... so maybe I'll give dinner a try.

Hearty menu that is seasonal with a nice bar out front.  Not all dishes here are equal in my opinion.  As a hearty meal eater, their game options are usually my favorite.  I don't think you could go wrong if you stayed within what Cookshop is good for.

A perennial favorite has to be their suckling pig, ask the waitress as sometimes the menu only has a portion of the suckling pig available.  I have had better, but in Manhatten it is pretty good.  I wouldn't say this is the best restaurant to eat at, but you can get good quality American cuisine from good cooks.

Since the menu's change often I would ask the wait staff for their recommendations as all their dishes aren't exactly equal.

Consistently get a good meal at Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and even at Brunch.  It is a very rustic type of food with fresh, seasonal ingredients which works well together.

Tonight for dinner the GF and I had:
Appy: Clams with white wine, shallots and house made sausage.  The bread on the table was the perfect mop for the left over sauce.

Mains: Split the Duck with cherry and rhubarb compote and tuscan kale.  Along with the Day Boat Scallops (A bit on the small side for Sea Scallops) with mashed peas, morels and fresh peas.

We enjoyed all the dishes, the Clams were definitely the star of the show.  The duck was cooked perfectly and the scallops seared to the right temperature.

The service was friendly and attentive when necessary.  Although slightly hiccuped when it came to resetting the table for the main dishes.

Definitely give it a try if you are in the neighborhood (Especially, if you just came down off the high line).

came here for brunch on sunday.
everything was good. the juice was freshly made (which i can rarely find in most of the restaurant.)
we started off with yogurt sorbet with granola. it is really different from what i expected but it was good.
the beef brisk and fried chicken were amazingly good but the french toast was disappointing.
i really like their grapefruit sorbet and my friend really enjoyed their root beer sorbet.
def good place for brunch and i would come back to try other dishes.

I ducked into the Cookshop randomly one afternoon to wait out a sudden downpour, figuring I might as well get something to eat.

Overall, it was thoroughly unmemorable.  Well, no, I take that back.  It was pretty cold inside.  I'm sure being somewhat wet from the rain didn't help.  However, my entree was quite cold and congealed about 10 minutes after I was served.  That, was quite memorable.

The staff was friendly and efficient.  However, the waitress didn't appear to be very knowledgeable about the menu or wine list.  I tried two white wines, both were not very good, somehow managing to be both overly acidic and bland.

I ordered risotto with some sort of pine nettle pesto, which was not bad, but not particularly great either.  It was very rich and creamy, and became quite tiring and heavy after awhile.  As I mentioned before, the coldness of the restaurant did not help, and it was very unsatisfying eating cold congealed risotto, which no doubt added to the feelings of heavy thickness.

The banana nut sundae, however, was quite good, and that was one dish that actually benefited from the a/c settings inside the restaurant.  (And yes, in case you were wondering, I am one of those people that love to eat ice cream even in the depths of winter).

Overall, I somewhat regretted this meal, when I think of all the other delicious places in New York I could have ducked into to escape the rain.

went here with the bro for our weekly hermano/hermana bonding session. after exploring the highline for the first time (i know, i know), i saw a shi shi-looking restaurant with some happy-looking diners from the stairwell, pointed and informed the bro that i wanted to go there. low and behold, it was cookshop.

we decided to eat outside since the weather was absolutely gorg. too bad it got kinda chilly 10 minutes later and i - staying true to my breezy cali aesthetic was donned in a sundress/vest combo - was NOT wearing a bra.* nonetheless, i strategically crossed my arms, determined to make it through the whole meal outside.

hermano ordered a feast of appies, including the deviled eggs (he said they were magical ... i disagreed), chicken drumettes (i don't do bones, but this gizz was good) and fried hominy (eh, i coulda done without because they were reminiscent of corn nuts). moreover, the bread basket was never empty thanks to a very attentive waitstaff.

or so we thought...

hermano y yo thinks our waiter forgot to put our dinner orders into the system because there was a REALLLYYY long stretch of time after appies. then, we KNEW he forgot because we got comped two humungo glasses of wine ... ergo, he was quickly forgiven.

as for the rest of the meal, i very much enjoyed my grilled swordfish - the hints of olive and garlic potatoes were a lovely touch - and my candy bar drumstick due to its layers of devil's food cake, praline, peanut nougat and a crisp chocolate shell. oooh weee! i just got boner ... it was that damn good.

of course, there was a celebrity citing - just as we got our first round of bread, we noticed lucy liu walking in with a tall, nondescript yet beautiful (HAWT DOG!) white man. home girl was shorter than i expected, jacked (someone does bikram yoga!) and positively glowing.** i may have needed to use the bathroom (right) and happened to see them deep in discussion in a booth among the commoners. lucy liu ... she's just like US!

man, i wish all my dins out were this eventful.

* - HELLLO, HEADLIGHTS. yes, i was VERY happy to see you.
** - i bet it's la mer. no drugstore goods for miss liu!

Excellent food and service!  Scallops were some of the best I've had in the city.  Fresh, plump, and seared just right.

If you like hominy get their Fried Hominy.  Crisp to perfection and addicting.

I've been a couple of times and each time I've experienced a great meal.  Really good spot to bring a date or a friend who's as much a foodie as you.

This is a winner and I recommend anybody who's looking for a nice evening to check it out.

4 stars for the desserts.

Sorbets were exceptional. Anise Hyssop? Rhubarb? Basil? $6 and you get 3 scoops of these exceptional artisanal sorbets. How great is that? Forget about those yogurt places! Panna Cotta was silky and delicate, "Candy Bars" were decadent and intense.

I would totally go back and just to have their desserts.

Great breakfast place!
I was there on Saturday and then went back with some friends on Sunday too.
From food we had the Cookshop Scramble and the Huevos Rancheros. Both were delicious. I especially liked the Huevos Rancheros. They came served in a clay pot, oven baked to perfection. The Cookshop scramble was great too, served on a delicious home made biscuit.
From drinks I would highly recommend the Bloody Maries and the Morning Mojitos.

I was really excited to finally have time to visit this place last week.  There were so many good reviews of them on Yelp and I just thought the food would be amazing.  However, the experience was extremely disappointing.

This is one of those happening places where atmosphere is definitely more important than food.  We got there early on a Friday night.  There were tons of tables, but the waitress has decided to seat us at the worst table in the restaurant.  I hate it when restaurants do that.

Our server was not bad.  Friendly and helpful.

The food was forgettable.  For appetizers, we had their quail (special of the night) and squid.  Both were so-so and needed more of a punch.  For entrees, we had the porchetta and risotto.  It's really hard not to like risotto since it's comfort food but I just didn't get it.  The herbs which taste a bit minty taste a bit off with the risotto.  The porchetta was okay.  Forgettable as well.  I guess the biggest disappointment was how slow the food came out.  If the food is taking so long, it better be damn good.

Don't think I'll go back again.

I came here for brunch on a beautiful sunny Sunday and was able to sit outside.  Cookshop links to OpenTable right on their website, so no worries about waiting an hour for a table!

We started with the ricotta beignets with rhubarb compote.  Having just come back from New Orleans (first stop: Cafe DuMonde), these were nothing in comparison.  However, the ricotta lent a nice creamy texture to the insides.  The rhubarb compote was a bit sour for my tastes; I think it needed some strawberry or apple to balance it out.

My fried chicken entree was beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, but seriously lacking in seasoning.  I asked the waitress for some salt, and she handed me a small bowl of rock salt.  Sure, it looked pretty, but all it did was fall onto my chicken, and then right onto my plate.  The salad with buttermilk dressing on the side was tastey, but there was too much of the dressing and it was a little soggy.

My drink was refreshing and delicious: hibiscous lemonade with vodka.  It was pink, slightly tart, and slightly sweet- perfect for a hot day.

Service was polite and efficient, and parking was easy.

Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. The food and drinks were good and all in all it has always been a pleasant experience. The first time I went one of my friends was uber late and they still tried hard to seat us. It took them a little longer than they expected so they comp'd our drinks at the bar. FTW! I've only had dinner here but everyone seems to be raving about the brunch so I'll have to go try that out. This is more of  a place for people who like game. I would say it's Cookshop's 'thang'.

We went to Cookshop for Brunch on Saturday.  The drink list is great!  I had a breakfast mojito, and it was just what I wanted...fruity, citrusy, with a nice bite at the finish.  The atomosphere at Cookshop is wonderful.  I loved the fresh flowers and clean lines of the restaurant itself.  For starters, I had the yogurt and cucumber soup and my husband had a rabbit and toast point dish.  I loved my soup, and I stole some of the toast points from my husbands' dish for dipping.  He liked his dish, but didnt rave about it.  I had the frittata for my main dish, and he had a swordfish burger.  My frittata was a bit bland, but I prefer that over being too salty.  Doug liked his swordfish burger, but his fries were divine!  I would go back for the fries alone.  Decent wait staff, nice place to go.  I would go back.

We went here for lunch.  The waiter, Tom, was very helpful in suggesting different white wines.  The menu had lots of tasty items on it.  I decided to reach out of my usual range and selected the Duck Confit salad.  I'm not a salad guy by any means, but this was GOOD.  My fiancee had the swordfish, which was very well prepared.

Definitely a tasty place!

This is my fav spot. If you want great food that is uncomplicated and fresh, then here is the place for you!!
Now that I go so often, I know the staff by name. All sweet and friendly-- they have the right mix of an upscale restaurant that is comfortable, fun, can be romantic or for groups. Versatile. Works for any crowd!

This review was supposed to be for brunch, but we didn't know there was no brunch offered on weekdays so the joke was on us.  Ended up settling for lunch instead.

OK, so here we are with very limited options for a meal.  When you come expecting breakfast items, and you're hit with heavy lunch menu items, it's just disappointing.  But this is not their fault, so I digress on that point.

I ordered the Maine Scallop Taquitos.  The sauce complemented the scallops well, but there wasn't enough of it.  And when you have such a texturally crunchy taquito, all other flavors become masked.  Seriously, that taquito was way too thick of a shell to be covering scallops.  Scallops are not known for their intense flavors.

Besides the fact that the dish was less than stellar, a few hrs later, I started to develop stomach cramps, and felt really queasy.  It was an explosion of gas.  I feel so bad for anyone who walked even remotely close to me.  And this is probably TMI for my yelpers.  hahaha  But yes, my last meal had been the scallops from this place, and my stomach is known to be extra sensitive to dirty/undercooked foods.

Cookshop- you're just full of it.

This. place. rocks.
This is everything a real restaurant should be.
Not pretentious, great drinks, and insanely good, fresh food.
The drinks are innovative (hello Bourbon Apple Cider? And Grapefruit Honey Sour?)
The food is delish. Who says no to a truffle mushroom risotto or out of this world sea scallops?
They have a full menu catering to all three (or six if you're diet-saavy) of your daily meals.
This place takes simple ingredients and bangs out some creative, yet tasty fares.
The prices are a bit high but well worth it.
Caution: May cause smiles and full stomachs.

I stopped in after leaving behind the severely overpriced drinks and other madness at M2 Ultra Lounge (seriously, with the Ultra Lounge? C'mon guys...)

And I remembered, I love that Cookshop is my neighborhood watering hole. I exchanged a familiar hello with the barkeep, ordered up a Greyhound and let relaxation set in under the dim lights.

Should you be searching for me at the end of the night, there's a good chance I'll be at the bar at Cookshop.

Very cute space and roomy place in Chelsea. I'm glad they take reservations online. The brunch was just so-so for me, but maybe because I was brave and ordered out of my brunch comfort zone (two poached eggs with cheddar grits and housemade pork sausage). It was too runny and cheesy for my usual diet.  My friend liked her salad though!

I think coming here for dinner would be a better option, as their brunch menu is not nearly as extensive as I would expect it to be. Can't I just have an omelette or egg's benedict?
