I found Cookie Wag SF at the Little Skillet Halloween event last weekend. Yes, sorry it took me a while to write this review.

This mobile cookie vendor has been around for a while but it doesn't get that much hype. Logan works at MSF, she joined the street food trend following the wave that MCK started. Her sign says that deliveries can be arranged by emailing her. The slight variations in shape/form/thickness of her cookies are due to their handmade nature. I ordered one chocolate chip (for some reason all the chips had sunk to the bottom of the cookie) and one snickerdoodle, both tasted fine, a thumbs up!

The ice cream sandwich (assembled on the spot) was a different story, a thumbs down! The homemade chocolate ice cream tasted good, but it was melting, and the bottom of the cookies became soggy very quickly. So in my opinion, the combination just didn't work well, compared to other cookie + ice cream sandos I've tried. Although I guess little kids would love it, getting all messy with ice cream dripping all over their hands. Most adults don't find that enjoyable that much. Also, not a good value at $5.

Overall, A-okay. Next time I'll order just the cookies, or the ice cream alone in a cup.

On the menu that day:
- assorted cookies - $1.50 ea.
- homemade chocolate ice cream - $2
- ice cream sandwich (2 cookies + ice cream) - $5
- hot chocolate - $1
