This place is right in my neighborhood, but I still don't know its exact name. It was cited in a newspaper article as Conwell Convenience, but the old, faded, hardly noticeable sign above its door says Bill's Food Shop. Huh?

This local convenience store is not where I'd go to do my food shopping (it's way too pricey) but it's just what it claims to be - convenient. Run out bread? Run across the street. Run out of paper towels? Run across the street. Run out of soap? Run across the street. Run out of porn? Yup, you guessed it. Run across the street. The porn rack is right next to the penny candy. How convenient!

The old couple who run it are super nice, and there's always a local in there chatting about this or that. Bring cash, though, cuz they don't take credit cards.
