Due to unforseen circumstances, we have had to use Coronado Mobile Storage twice in the last six months to store furniture and boxes, and each time it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them. (Well, as pleasurable as paying someone to store your stuff can be, you know?)
This place delivers a huge container to your home, you fill it and they pick it up and store it at their secure facility (which is in Chula Vista, despite the company name). You pay only for how much of the container you are using, but no one else's stuff is in there, and no one else has a key to your container. You buy your own lock, you keep the key. If you need to access your stuff, you call and let them know, they pull your container down and you get what you need.
They have a very clear pricing plan that is detailed on their Web site (http://www.coronadomob...) and no hidden fees at all. When you call to set up a time for a container to be delivered, they are kind, professional and completely flexible with your schedule. They offer to bring you a lock and they literally let you change drop off and pickup times on the same day with no hint of irritation.
We have now had three experiences with them (our last load of stuff is in storage now for a few months until my parents get back on their feet and get a bigger place of their own) and each time the drivers have been on time (or a few minutes early) and would not accept a tip, despite us running late and them having to wait as we finished loading the container.
Also, no automatic billing to your account or other shady storage place tactics you hear about -- they send you a bill and you have two weeks grace period each month before it is considered late. This place is fair, the employees are friendly and the owners care about their customers.
A+++ for a business that still values their customers. Should I ever be in another crappy life situation where I have to pay for storage, I will definitely be calling CMS yet again. -

Very rude person who answered the phone. Talked down to me as if I had no clue about anything, also when started to ask him questions he replied. "oh please" let me get back to work. Potential client or not for this business I would not refer people here based on the egotistical person who I spoke with. Everyone should be treated nicely no matter if they are a client of yours or not.
