I owe my life to this woman. Seriously. I know I kid around on my reviews a lot, but this woman deserves to be highlighted with the brightest of stars for the work she has done to help women everywhere.
I was turned onto her by a co-worker about 6 or 7 years ago after every doctor I went to told me I was "just fine" even though I KNEW something was wrong with me. Finally desperate and broke(without insurance at the time) I went to her and pleaded my case and after getting my test results back, she confirmed what I had feared and what every stupid doctor I went to had overlooked: CANCER.
From there she gave me the biggest hug and in the middle of tears managed to crack me up and make it all better. 3 surgeries later, she got it all out and worked with me on the financial end, which she has done for many other women I know. End of the day, the whole ordeal cost me $500! Tests, surgeries and all! She is a true hero!
Like I said, I owe this woman my life and she has my eternal respect for that. She doesn't take insurance, because she is sick of the way the system runs and f*cks people out of getting the care they need and she used to be the Associate Clinical Chief of OB at Cedars Sinai so she's not coming to the bat with no experience, quite the contrary.
So if you need a good OBGYN, this is your gal. All 5 feet of her with her crazy hair and mischievious little giggle.

Connie is the best OBGYN in LA, hands down. My entire family has known her for over 25 years and she delivered my sister and I at Cedars Sinai. She is an incredible doc and a truly caring person. You don't meet very many honest docs, but Connie will tell you straight up about medications and treatments that will work best for you. She is extremely well respected in her medical field and I consider myself lucky to have her!
She is an amazing doctor. I had a problem that after 4 trys at fixing it, my other doc said it was still there but lets "wait and see what happens". I went to Connie and she said if you wait and see with this, it would be cancer. She fixed me in one visit and is the absolute smartest, best and most caring doc there is. I saw the review about the girl saying it is inconvenient for her to send the paper in to her insurance which is no big deal at all (takes 2 minutes - i save a copy of mine on my computer and just print it every time i go). If she helps you live when another doc would let you die, is sending in a paper really a big deal?
On my search for a new doc Dr Chein was the 2nd one I tried. I am sure she is a really great doctor but if someone in their review would have said that she is *OUT OF NETWORK*. I would not have wasted the time trying to get a hold of her.
Her offices are closed between 12:30 and 2:00 pm for lunch and so I kept trying to have to call back, I have a job also and it's difficult to just call whenever is convenient for them right.
Anyway, after about a day of trying to get in touch with them they say they are out of network which means that you have to pay for your services up front and they give you a paper that you submit to your insurance for reimbursement. That's inconvenient for me so I went to the next doc on my list. :)
The best doctor i have EVER been to! She is medicine is about - She TRULY cares about each patient. Connie delivered my twin girls with expertise and without any trips to the NICU - We are blessed to know her!
Hands down the best doctor ever! Its really rare to find a doctor who cares about their patients and understands their situations and needs. I would strongly recommend going to her, she has a warm personality and knows her shit.!A million thanx to her!!!
