Just to be clear I am not a country club type guy nor an active member of any such establishment. While I do find them fascinating and mysterious I do not think I would ever join one. But last season a work friend who is a member convinced me to spend a Friday hacking a way at the Concord Country Club. I have to admit we played a great round and had a blast! The course is well maintained and challenging. Very small pro shop but has a very helpful staff and stocks what you need. While I did nothing but play golf they did have some great looking tennis courts and what looked to be a new pool.
From what I could tell it looked like an old school golf only country club that has begun to add additional components. If you get invited I say give it a play. It is in a very scenic area of Concord.
Oh watch out for geese poop.
