A WONDERFUL INN!

Stop by, even if just to have tea and chat with the lovely Andrea, the woman who owns the joint.

She is a great mother and business woman, as well as powerful organizer and activist in the community. She fights for the rights of medical marijuana patients, and I had the opportunity to sit with her on the Measure Y board which made marijuana the lowest law enforcement priority in Santa Cruz (modeled after Oakland's Measure Z).

Check them out, it is quite a novelty these days to see a pot-friendly hotel!

I recently spent a night at the Compassion Flower Inn on a weekend trip to Santa Cruz.  I love bed and breakfasts, and this is among the best I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.  The owners are extremely welcoming, and you feel as though you are family the minute that you arrive.   The whole place has a very progressive vibe, and is welcoming to those who are medical cannabis patients.  

The breakfast was absolutely amazing.  Not only can the owners run a beautiful inn, but they cook up a wonderful breakfast too.  They are also very accomodating of vegans.

This is a small bed and breakfast, and you can tell that the owners have really made a big effort, as the rooms are adorable and comfortably appointed.   It is in an older building and has been   extremely well maintained.

As for location, Compassion Flower Inn is close to both downtown Santa Cruz and the beach and Boardwalk.  We left the car parked at the Inn and walked everywhere.

I highly recommend the Compassion Flower Inn for your next stay in Santa Cruz.

Compassion Flower Inn is the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever been to. It's located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz and is very well kept. Andrea and Maria Tischler are awesome! If your into Bed and Breakfasts then you gotta check in to the Compassion Flower Inn and say what up to Damian if you see him there!
