Hmm...my room wasn't spacious. Not that I cared, but if I wasn't alone...it would have been a really tight squeeze. REALLY TIGHT. Didn't care...so many good things for this budget friendly inn that I'll definitely be back.
But, the good things...
1.) Excellent service
2.) Small, easy, convenient
3.) Comfy pillows
4.) Room had a private balcony (not a good view - but I didn't mind), that I left the door open until 11pm to enjoy the breeze. How good is it to stay at a inn/motel/hotel and get fresh air? Super good.
5.) Clean room
6.) Small table to eat at
7.) Nice array of channels
8.) LOCATION! So much to walk to for eating, small shopping trips...etc.
The bad...(besides the tiny room)
1.) The "full breakfast" had the chewiest eggs ever. I didn't know that eggs came in the shape of a hockey puck and had the texture of styrofoam. But then again, I wasn't expecting any food...so this negative isn't even a negative to me. I just wouldn't count on this for your breakfast unless a bagel is enough. I think they may have had waffle irons there. Hey...if I had time, a waffle would have been perfect. So, maybe not such a negative at all!

I've actually stayed here many times. Many of the rooms are very tiny, some are nice, and the location is good. I stay in the Choice Hotel chain a lot. The reason I gave this place one star is because it is the worst hotel in the chain that i have ever stayed at for PADDING THE BILL. Examine your bill carefully. It will be padded with extra charges that they sneak in - safe charge, bottled water charge, and a couple of others they have invented. If you tell the desk clerk he will remove them with no comment, but of course most people never even notice them and just sign the bill.
I've only just checked in, but so far, I'm really impressed by this hotel. It's better than many more budget-oriented hotels in Orange County. The room is spacious and comes with a fold-out couch. They have cribs on hand for families that need them. And the room sports a coffee maker and microwave.
Near the lobby, they offer free hot breakfast each morning you stay, and there's a small pool. Cable TV with HBO -- and free wifi! All you need is a username and password from the front desk. The staff is friendly, and the room really clean. I have high expectations for the rest of my stay, and I've only just unpacked.
