For a ski vacation this has everything you want, heat, comfortable bed, and fast access to the slopes.

the Good: free town bus picks up right outside and drops you at the gondola maybe 20 seconds later. The free breakfast is pretty good, waffles, cereal, juice etc. The water gets get hot very fast.

The annoying: the 'high speed internet' is terribly slow! The town bus doesn't run past 6 pm. The rooms don't have a safe.

Overall you get what you pay for and I am happy to come back.

    It's clean.

Sometimes it's better to not have Internet service at all than to have free Internet that is agonizing slow.  AGONIZINGLY!  Seriously, the Internet is a tease and I feel sick about how much time I spent waiting, hoping that it would get better.  It didn't.

But it's clean.  Hey, did you know that when you stay at hotels there is often traces of semen and fecal matter on the sheets from previous travelers?  That's pretty gross but this place seemed clean enough.

I was staying for work, not to ski.  So maybe I'm just in a bad mood about that.

The Comfort Inn of Avon is a nice little property. I'm just echoing the reviews of others to confirm that it's clean, well kept, comfortable, quiet and relatively affordable (for the area). It's a little hidden in a slightly compact and crowded area of "downtown" Avon but once you're there you appreciate the convenient location.

I stayed for a short fishing weekend with a friend and one of our options, Nottingham Lake, is a town treasure- pretty much right across the street. It's great for fishing, paddle boats, private parties or just a great place to walk the dog. (and it's well stocked)

There is a very nice breakfast area in a separate building that provides a good selection of quality food as a solid day starter. The hotel was full with families in town for a soccer event. Everyone was taking full advantage of the breakfast and they all seemed happy to have it. We don't ski but I'm fairly certain that this would be an excellent choice for accessibility and affordability when visiting for winter sports. I would not hesitate to stay at the Comfort Inn again and it was perfect for a couple guys away for the weekend.

Hey, it's a Comfort Inn.  The price is reasonable, and it's certainly within driving distance from Vail.  The free breakfast is pretty good (they even have a belgian waffle maker), and there's okay wifi.  The rooms are clean and bright, and there's even a hot tub.  Good enough for me.

For what it is not bad.  Apparently they have continental breakfast and they have a waffle maker.  I wouldn't know, I didn't make it back to Beaver.

Stayed here this past weekend (last minute ski trip). Very reasonable rate considering where it's located in Avon. Short bus ride or can walk to Avon Station where you can pick up Beaver Creek Express to village. Onsite parking (no fees), clean room, complimentary breakfast, nice choices. Was very pleased to stay here with husband and young son. Close to I-70. Friends from Denver stayed in room next door with their 2 children (connecting door was cool for kids to go back and forth between rooms).
