I came here again on business. I stand by what I wrote before. I'll add the following:
Down the street about 1 block away:
- Starbucks right down the street, with PLENTY of seating There is an outdoor and indoor area with plenty of people surfing the web and playing "board games" while having coffee.
- Walgreens, basic necessities if you're missing something.
- Quizno's and Jamba Juice (I think most everybody knows these places).
- Within driving distance (2-3 block, Macys and Target (?)....it's close to the freeway and my memory is fading). Other food places that looked tempting if I had time to investigate.
Continental Breakfast was still there and I enjoyed it before leaving 30 min after opening - TV was on to watch news and traffic for the surrouding area. Cigar shop across the street and a little Burrito Truck stops out front of the motel at about 10PM. Good burrito (and I've been to a few places and trucks that have Burritos and Tacos). Internet Connection still good.
I will be staying here again.

Stayed here the last two times I was in town, and both visit had a good time. This is your average hotel, so don't expect anything fancy. However, to my surprise, last time I got a room with a plasma TV, so that was a plus. They also offer free WIFI and printer, which was convenient for me to print my boarding pass. Will stay here again.

In this simple neighborhood of Eagle Rock, L.A.
This is a great place to crash into for a homey experience, when you are away from home!
After Six plus hours of traveling from S.F. it is really nice to have couple friendly smiles and get you into your room in no time.
The set up of the bed is SO comfy and and it IS amazing!!
The room is spacious, and well arranged.
The bathroom is a little "economy" but the dressing area with the functional counter top is great.
Will definitely check into this cuddly place, when I visit Eagle Rock next time. It is a great get-away destination ......... if you happen to visit Eagle Rock.
