Hotel has been renovated which is a bonus. It sits back off of the road behind some gas stations. Parking is kind of a nightmare. It sits next to a Howard Johnson hotel. Easy access to downtown Chattanooga. The elevator floor always looks dirty because they chose a light color flooring. It is always wet too due to the pool being close by. For some reason our bathroom room 305 has a drain in the floor that is oddly placed. If you don't pay attention to it you will step into it going to the bathroom. Just an odd location for that. Our mirror in the bathroom had some weird black markings on the mirror itself. The bench you could sit on was wobbly. Hotel seems to be a popular stopping point for many travelers though

I am probably never going to recommend this hotel, the room was mediocre at best there was a (possibily barf) stain on the bed. The bath tub/shower had a crack in the plastic side, and the toilet was only about a foot above the ground and there were no trash cans in the bathroom and the sink had finger prints on it. The bed had weird pieces of yarn all over it. They did have cable TV though, however I feel that's almost just a normal thing now. The breakfast was pretty nasty, they were out of coffee, and probably worst of all, the woman in charge of the breakfast buffet was chatting with the concerge about certain medical issues very loudly, overall I would rather have stayed in a Courtyard by Marriott. The one silver lining is it is very close to some good chain and local restaurants.

We were not here 24 hours and had the unfortunate experience of meeting the front desk person named Sandra. We booked a room with capacity for 4 and indicated that we had 4 in our party at time the reservation was made. We get to the room, the one bed was made up with sheets and pillows. The pullout sofa bed was not made, that is not unusual, but what is unusual was the fact the room was not stocked with sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. I called the front desk to inquire where these sheets are located and was told they are not in the room, but are available on request. I explained that I am blind and am here with my two children and wife. I asked Sandra if she could bring them up. She became confrontational and said no because she is the only one working. She changed her tone slightly when I requested to speak with a manager. I did learn that Sandra is either a liar or she possesses a rather strange splitting ability because as my son was going down to get the sheets he passed another employee before getting to Sandra. My son said while he was down there it was evident that Sandra was not getting out of the chair for nothing and she tried to shift the problem to say that the complaint was about the room being handicap accessible. My son said, no he was complaining that the room was booked for 4 guests, but only had bedding for the one bed. Sandra do better. For over $200.00 a night there is no excuse for your behavior.

The room was nothing special. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, but no coffee. The room also had a desk and chair. This was said to be a handicap accessible room. A manual wheelchair might fit, but it would be an extremely tight fit. The closet was very spacious.

The bathroom was missing tile in the floor. Bathroom was decent size, but lacked counter space. Shower water pressure was good.
Indoor pool was ok. The pool room was cold, no towels, but certain areas of the heated pool was warmer than others. They have a place for towels, but still no towels.
The breakfast was ok. It offered cereals, mini waffles, sausage patties, etc. If it doesn't hit the spot Hardees is on one side of the hotel and McDonald's is on the other side. There is also a gas station right there too.

I hope Choice Hotels takes a hard look at this property. I always try to book with Comfort Inn & Suites, but this was so disappointing. Let me start by saying that the lady who prepares the breakfast was the best part of my stay. She was so nIce and prepared a very nice breakfast. The front desk staff was always pleasant and and professional. Beyond these two pro's my stay was one of the most troublesome I have encountered in many years.

My stay was for five nights. Housekeeping needs to be completely overhauled. Upon entering, my room had an odor that was not pleasant. I turned the air on to circulate the air. The chair at the desk was broken. The alarm clock was broken. The coffee pot broke on the fourth day. The drain plug in the sink broke on the third day. There was standing cloudy / murky water under the tray in the bathroom. There was mold spots on my ceiling. There was peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. The desk has been placed right next to ac/heater unit. The shelf under the sink in the bathroom where the towels were kept hadn't been dusted in some time. Ran out of Kleenex in the bathroom on day three but was never refilled.

When alarm clock was replaced I found another alarm clock thrown behind the nightstand. Still plugged in. I set it on the other bed. It was still there the day I left.

When I put the sink stopper on the bathroom counter after it wouldn't stay up, it was still there in all its nastiness the day I left.

I had to ask front desk for coffee replacement. Towels were thrown on shelf.

I won't stay here again. I cannot recommend.

      Holes in bathroom wall.

We had to stay here after the original place ended up being absolutely disgusting (days inn lookout mountain).
I would give this comfort inn a 2 at best. It's old & very hot. Our sheets had stains on them, the toilet had hardly any pressure, the shower didn't look clean, the carpets are old and funky, & the area is kind of sketchy. We paid over $400 for two nights when this is a $50 a night type hotel.

I probably won't ever stay in Chattanooga again and definitely not at this hotel

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! We left about 10 minutes after arriving in our room. There were stains on the bedspread and sheets that looked like blood. One comforter was so dingy it had turned yellow. We saw two dead roaches in the hallway.

This hotel is too pricey for what they offer & everything seems to be broken. I booked a King suite & the AC was not working nor the toilet, & neither was the fridge. A painting was missing from the wall & there were some weird stains on the bed. I had a non smoking room yet it stunk like smoke. Called the front desk to switch rooms to another King & a 2 bed was the only thing they had so I took it. When I got to the other room, the AC was broken in this one too. There was urine in the toilet left over from whomever so definitely not up to COVID-19 standards, also nobody was wearing a mask. I ended up booking a room at the Hampton Inn (which I recommend over this place) & checked out as fast as possible. Best decision I've made in a long time.

Spent $325 for 1 night at this hotel only to have to change rooms twice. The first time because the bathroom toilet had been left completely clogged, along with the urine that was all over the floor. The second room had period stains all over the sheets on one of the beds. When I went back downstairs to report this, the front desk clerk asked if it was a new stain or does it look like it had been washed and the sheet was just stained.....does it matter???! Throw the stained sheets out. For over $300 a night you can afford new sheets. No discount or partial refund was even offered for this hassle. The only reason I'm even giving it 2 stars was because the front desk clerk was extremely apologetic. Don't waste your money here, drive a few more minutes west and find a better quality hotel.

Not worth the money! The key cards did not work. Had to go down to the deck three times until they finally gave me a metal key. Called down for sheets for the hide-a-bed and they never came, so had to go down a forth time. Tv did not work. After fiddling with wires on back for 30 min it finally kind of worked. No towels in pool. Breakfast was a joke. Juice machine only shot out water. Packaged muffins were the only thing available. The staff was kind and that was the only redeeming thing about this stay. Do not recommend.
