Hotels are everywhere in Pigeon Forge and I get the impression all succeed due to the sheer number of visitors in the area. Let's face it, this town is so popular with tourists that any hotel will sell rooms. I see a lot of bad reviews for hotels around here and worry every time I choose a hotel I've never been to. The Comfort Inn at Dollywood Lane was a nice hotel and one I'd definitely stay at again. Free wireless internet, a  relatively new room (they call them suites but they're kinda-sorta suites), a large jacuzzi tub and a decent view exceeded my expectation. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were much higher quality than I've ever seen at a Comfort Inn. The indoor heated pool (and indoor jacuzzi) were nice, though a bit crowded during predictably busy times. Fortunately the pool and jacuzzi closed at midnight, far after the little ones left.

The free breakfast was actually pretty good. Despite being "continental", biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, waffles and more gave some hot variety to the selection and an employee constantly stocked the food stations. There weren't enough tables for all the guests and that's probably my only complaint. Well, the single elevator was busy and slow, too but that's easy for me to overlook.

The location of this hotel is good. Because there is a light at the hotel, it's easy to get in and out. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of everything so it's easy to go just about anywhere. Plus there are several restaurants within walking distance like Pizza Hut, Burger King, Denny's, Texas Roadhouse and McAllister Deli. Dixie Stampede is across the street almost but I wouldn't attempt walking across that road.

So far so good we just checked in and all the staff that we have met is super friendly.. The hotel is very clean and close to everything...  They give a full breakfast in the morning not the typical crappy ones with just muffins and cereal..  It is a non-smoking hotel but you are allowed to smoke outside...   Free Internet and a lot of other nice amenities...
