Genius!
Fridays and Saturday nights are filled with laughter and variety. If you enjoy laughing... as most people I know do. You will most definitely enjoy this.
It's a commercial building off Howe & Arden (near Arigato! Good place for dinner right before! ) There are also a lot of dinner places around the Howe bout Arden area.
Buy your tickets online and save money, sign up for the mailing list and you learn about other savings and special events. There are comedy sportz 'teams' all across the US and sometimes teams come from out of town and they have competitions.
You're greeted by a friendly face as you walk in, there's tables, chairs & couches to hang out on before the show. A big curtain blocks off the stage and a TV & music from Mr. Voice are also there for the pre-entertainment.
The show is set up like a sport (hence comedy sportz) and there is a red and a blue team. You will find a mixture of people on each team every night and a different show every time you go. The ref helps the game continue on and the players compete for points... basically hilarity ensues. In a who's line is it anyway improv style the suggestions come from the audience which helps make it a different show every time.
It IS family friendly! I saw a toddler the last Friday night I went. Wouldn't be the first place I would bring a toddler and I didn't hear any complaints (crying) and my tween sister seemed to enjoy it when I brought her and a friend.
They offer classes if it looks like something you'd want to do for yourself and also private parties.
All around good time for a decent price and keeps you laughing.

Went to see improv here with my friend and it was a really fun thing to do on a hot and lazy Saturday night. Call ahead and get $2 off the ticket price. About the same price as a movie ticket and more fun to see a live show then a film that you are only somewhat interested in.
Very funny and the perfect length of time. Will definitely be taking my fiance here in the near future.
ComedySportz shows are always funny. They are are great value for the price because you can bring your whole family, and everyone will have a great time. It's also nice that every time you go, it's an entirely different show. I have been many times and will probably go back again soon.
