I despise Comcast with every fiber of my being.  Ridiculously confusing billing, incompetent workers, inconsistent stories and policies, crappy quality and HORRIBLY overpriced products.  Comcast Blows.  With a capital B.

Super sucks. Our internet connection hasn't been working for months. I need it to work from home sometimes, let alone yelp in the evenings!

They came out to "fix" it, said something about our signal needing a boost cause of where we were located and they'd install that. They did that FIVE days later and then said it was fixed. It's not. Not only does it still not work, but our cable box is going all jumbly too. BAH

We're looking at AT&T's new service now.

My dad actually told them that and they gave him a big discount to stay. We told them that and they said they couldn't do anything=lie. They just don't seem to care about their customers at all.

Only positive is I like the turtle commercials.

No me gusta Comcast.  

I only have this service b/c trees block the southern exposure of my home, so no satellite tv for me.  It took a few months to get a billing issue resolve, after chatting with an online customer service rep 2x, and then going into the Comcast store in Sunnyvale 2x.  I turns out that first someone didn't use the right promotion code on my account, and then someone else didn't fix it right, so it took a couple of tries for the customer service reps. to figure out what was going wrong with my billing, and why I was being overcharged $10-20 bucks each month.

On top of that, I have no on demand, and they've been saying that its coming to my area for months.  Seriously, the on demand is the only positive feature to comcast's service.

Update 3/25:  We finally got our On Demand a week or two ago.  About  frikkin time!  And after 5 months of them saying "you'll get it soon."  A week before we got the upgrade the Internet ran really really slowly - I mean like dial up slowly and it was down half the time.  It would have been nice if they gave us a little heads up letting us know that some funny business might be going on with our connection.  

Still cursing the trees that surround my apartment that prevent me from switching to satellite and ditching crappy comcast for good.

For some reason Comcast (Mt. View) has been very good in my area.  I have internet /TV (standard cable no box) from them and have never had an issue with either.  When there is a problem they are usually right on it.  

A few months back CC accidentally disconnected me and went beyond what they needed to to fix it.  Also, they discounted my bill for the next six months!

I'm NOT affiliated with Comcast whats so ever but....  "Comcast been veady good tu me."

If you had to look up worst customer service you would find Comcast listed at the top. Besides them being sued, for good reasons of false advertisement, they are horrible with customers. I have my boyfriend at home missing his work time so he could catch them and keep in mind he's the one who called them out to fix our problem, and they call me to say they need to reschedule because someone needed to pick up. Turns out they never called him in the first place so I have no idea why they would bother calling me considering I didn't call them or give them my number for them to contact. Get  your numbers right, no wonder why their homepage got hacked! People are pissed about the horrible service they have and I can't blame anyone for being pissed. Besides that issue the internet we're paying for is the highest and it still runs slow! If I had a pet turtle it could move faster than the net speed we're paying for.

Suck it Comcast.

Your products are over-priced. You pull the bait and switch on people by pulling them in for the $99 triple play, make them sign a 2 year contract, then double the price after a year. Shame on you. Your billing sucks and i eventually just gave up on paying my bill online because you guys changed my password every month without telling me and paying my bill became a 2 hour ordeal on the phone with someone who had no idea how to fix the problem. Instead i will save my two hours and pay an extra 41 cents and mail you a check. Your service people are useless and have no idea what they are doing. The passive aggressive, overly cheerful ones are the worst. My box keeps getting messed up and erasing shows i've recorded but you guys won't replace it. My internet goes in and out. I hate that you guys are trying to take over the world. If there was a decent alternative (you're telling me i have to choose between you and AT&T? I'd rather kill myself), i would sooooo be there. Until then, you guys will get my check monthly. But trust me, im not happy about it.

I was a Comcast customer for many years.  I enjoyed the digital cable and I got the DVR as soon as it was available.
The DVR sucked.  It never did what I told it to.
Then Comcast would always say they got our payment late when we sent it in weeks before.  They would try to charge us late fees and we weren't having that!
THEN I started getting collection calls from them.  For an address I lived at 5 years prior.  Seems that someone at that address had gotten mail for me and used that info to set up an account that they never paid for.  
Fine.  I get a police report, call the management of the apartments, and call Comcast to straighten it out.  Comcast continues to call and harrass me.
I call them and tell them that now this is their problem.  They started the account without proper ID or checking to see if I had another account already.  They had to deal with the people living there!! Finally they got it.
Then I started getting calls about returning the equiptment that I had never had in the first place!!! ARGGG!!!
I realize Comcast cannot control identity theft, but they could do a better job of checking and verifying that the person on the phone is who they say they are.  Check ID at instillation or something!
Anyways after over a year of nothing but problems, we switched to Direct TV.  Worse in other ways, but better in service and DVR and PRICE!

Hate is such a strong word - BUT I HATE COMCAST!!!!!!!!!!! I'm on my 7th box today from the time we got the promotional deal from comcast. Just saying their name I want to break or hit something. My freakin cable box turns off and on by itself - I call sorry ass comcast and  all they say like a freakin recorders is - oh lets send it a signal - NO why don't you send a freakin technician out here to see what the REAL problem is. I have movies on my DVR that I can no longer see - oh let's shoot out a signal - uugghh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came back to my house Sunday night to see the freakin box tweakin out again and I had 3 whole screens full of a 1 minute show that was only suppose to be a 30min show. I can no longer see anything on my DVR but it tells me I only have 80% available room left to record items - uuggghhh!!! Does anyone have any comments on on Tivo or the Dish. Oh oh - and heres another thing - after changing my box on the 5th and 6th time - because both boxes were doing the same thing - I noticed that they have a NEWER  box - for those of us using their old box. If the newer box acts crazy - they give you a brand new one. But for the older box (the silver one folks) its now obsolete. You will only get someone's else's used box - never a brand new one. And majority of the time the reps  have to send a request to the whorehouse for your replacement box because they do not stock them on-site. AND THE REP YOU TALK TO ON THE PHONE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW IF THE OFFICE THEY'RE SENDING YOU TOO HAS YOUR BOX THERE AT THE OFFICE AND THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU THE OFFICE NUMBER SO YOU CAN CALL AND ASK - YOU HAVE TO WASTE GAS GOING BACK AND FOURTH UNTIL THE BOX COMES WHICH CAN TAKE UP TO A WEEK. And to top this all off - after 3am on TNT channel 37 - my box makes the people start speaking Spanish. I do not have the SAP on and am well educated on SAP. It's your TV - it's your TV - bullfreakin shit! It's not my TV is this crazy f'kd up box you gave/give me. I know it is because when I record to my VCR off of channel 37 aka TNT everyone speaks English. So basically Comcast says screw you people with the silver older box - we're going to treat you like crap, yeah we know these boxes aren't new and they're just as crappy as the box you're returning to us - but we don't care - we want you to be soo unhappy that you'll want to upgrade to the newest - when you do this - we'll care a little bit more about you as a customer - after this - we have to get you where you get all these bs channels that you don't need but we'll get paid which is all that we care about. Don't you know AT&T own us! .
THIS POST IS FOR COMCAST AS A WHOLE - NO PARTICULAR OFFICE.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would.  First of all, they pulled a bait and switch on me.. then they disconnected most of my service, saying they gave me the wrong one for a year and now they will have to charge me twice as much for the same channels.  I said, fine.. Then they again do a bait and switch by saying I got a promotional deal and now the cost is yet again, twice as much.. So, I am fed up with it.. So, we're going to look at other options at this time and switch..  Oh, I forgot to mention that their customer service number is horrible as well their service techs.  I have had way too much issues with Comcast to want to consider them again..  So, if you want to have a bait and switch pulled on you and every 6 months or a year, your price double for your cable, go with Comcast.. If you want an ethical company that actually delivers value and customer service, I'd suggest you look somewhere else.

Friendly staff in a quiet office space. It was virutally empty on a weekday afternoon, I'm sure staff gets bored, at least they've got all the cable channels to watch.

I'm in and out in no time at all.

The Sunnyvale location use to be near Murphy by the Sunnyvale Town Center, they've relocated to off El Camino, it's on the same side as Midas, in the strip mall next door.
