OMG. Awesome customer service. Did not blink an eye when I needed to change my reservation for 4 down to 3 (granted I was about a week or two in advance) and still applied a promotional rate. Sent me a new reservation email and everything -- and then when I got to the airport a half hour early, they got us on a shuttle right away and we didn't have to wait an extra hour for our scheduled shuttle!!!
They were quick, safe; took between 2-2.5 hrs from Denver International to Breckenridge. All the shuttles had wifi and the driver's were fun to chat with.
Superb service, used them twice now. -

It's hard to give 4 stars for a $70 ride to the airport that gets you into a van with 10 strangers when all you get in terms of tangible benefits is free wifi for the ride (assuming the Sprint cell service doesn't go out).
For convenience factor (when we had to get from Vail to Denver last minute to catch our train... thanks Greyhound) CME rose to the occasion, however, and since they have a constant rotation going through Vail were able to accommodate 2 people, 2 snowboards and 2 suitcases without much fuss. Great customer service there.
That being said, I haven't had any experiences with other shuttle companies and honestly would probably prefer to shop around a bit. -

Driver was nice and helpful and luckily we were the first stop after pickup at Eagle airport. We only wish that we had rented a car since we were skiing multiple resorts in Vail Valley. It would have been more convenient at the same cost ($50 per person times 2, totals $200 round trip). Plus cab ride to Beaver Creek and we ended up renting a car to go to Vail (do you really want to go on the public bus with all your ski gear? Also, inconvenient for apres skiing at night). The rental car was $50/day. Save yourself the hassle and just rent a car from the airport if skiing Vail Valley. The taxi driver and car service both told us that the resorts have an ownership stake in CME so they tend to push this service. Even ordering a private car is better since it's only your party in the car ($90) and you know for sure just one stop.

This has to be the absolute worse shuttle service I have ever encountered. Not only were the 45 minutes late picking us up from the hotel, the driver had no idea where she was going.
We made it to the Vail pass, and due to an unforeseen snow storm (which was obviously not their fault) We had to turn around and go back to our lodging to re-book our flights. The driver told us that we were able to reschedule our pick-up at any time, due to their round the clock pick up time. I confirmed this we her more than twice. Once we rescheduled our flights, we called CME and told them our flight time and they told us that that we would have to take the premier service and pay and extra $480 dollars to get their on time. No matter how much I tried to explain our situation, they simply said its "Just not our problem" -

Ugh, I really don't know how to begin this b/c there are some really good points about this service, yet there are some major drawbacks.....I'll give this place 3 (would like to give 3.5 at best) stars simply b/c I can't imagine having to drive a rental car 2 hours from Vail to Denver in snow and ice....
I'll start with the good. If you think about it, this place is mega convenient!! Like I said above, I would never be able to drive 2 hours on ice, windy roads in bad conditions. The pickup location in DIA is easy to find and the drivers were very nice and professional, always asking if the temp in the car was ok. They also offer to make a pit stop halfway thru the journey for restroom breaks, coffee, food. On our way back to DIA last time from Vail, the roads were awful: icy and snowy. Our driver got us to DIA safely, timely, and did a great job driving. I was very impressed.
Now onto the bad....ughhhhh, I feel bad saying this bc the drivers are very nice but man, the vans are MEGA uncomfortable. 9 people (not including driver adn front passenger) are CRAMMED into this van and it's very tight and uncomfortable, esp during 2-3 hour car rides. My entire body was tight/sore after both rides . It's almost tortorous....I wish we splurged for our own private van, it would've been worth the money. I feel like (if this is possible) they could have more vans running at once and less people per van. For the price you pay per person, the ride should be more comfortable!!!!!!! This place is NOT cheap. Also, to make matters worse (which was out of the company's control) I was stuck crammed next to some psycho named Madison who kept complaining that she wanted a knife to stab herself bc she's stuck between 2 people in a small van. Then she proceeded to cry while talking very loudly on her cell phone (while the rest of the van was silent) and then started laughing while talking about butt injections. Thankfully, some amazing saint of a woman turned around and asked her to shut her trap, adn she did. Then she proceeds to hold up the van at the rest stop while she charged her phone. Real piece of work, that one...........thankfully I didn't run into her in Vail and she wasn't on my van coming home.
Ugh, I'm sure we'll use this company again but I won't be looking forward to it if we're stuck in a crammed van -

Thank you, Daniel and CME for getting us from DIA to Beaver Creek safely...
My boyfriend made the arrangements, so I was literally just 'along for the ride' but I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized and efficient CME was, how friendly their staff was, and how smooth the entire process was. All four hours of the drive. Yes, I did say four hours! Because of the snow and the roads, etc... it did take almost four hours, but hey - they put safety first, so I can't complain.
The van was full but the others were friendly and we made the best of the situation. Nice to meet you John, Heather, Lynn, and a few others too. Thanks for putting up with my boyfriend's humor along the way. I liked the place we stopped - clean bathroom and plenty of snacks to choose from. You can't go wrong with that!
At $80 bucks a head, I thought it was a bit pricey, but so is everything related to the sport of skiing, right? I'll update my review after my trip back on Sunday, but as of now, I'd give 5 stars to CME for service and safety - 3 stars for price... and with that, I'm out - it's beautiful here!Listed in: Transporting Me from A to Z

The most cost-efficient, reliable way to get to Vail is to fly into Denver's DIA, and take Colorado Mountain Express from the airport up into the mountains. CME has an extremely professional and helpful staff, their drivers are courteous and safe, and the vans are comfortable.
Pick your bags up from your carousel, and make your way to the ground floor, near the fountain. CME's main desk is there, and their porters will take care of your bags from there as well. They'll load them on a cart, lead you to your indoor, heated, seated waiting area, and guide you to your shuttle van when it arrives.
The vans always make a pit-stop 1/2 way up the mountain to go to the bathroom and get drinks. They have always been helpful getting Little Q's car seat in and out of the van (and have car seats available if you don't want to fly with yours).
In the event that the road gets temporarily closed due to inclement weather, each van has a DVD player, and is loaded with DVDs as well.
We've taken CME four times now, and each and every time it has been a great experience. The only reason they don't rate five stars is the bench seats. Bench seats are a tough call for two to three hours, especially after just getting off of a plane.
But the beauty of not having to worry about driving up that road in snowy conditions is totally worth it. They'll drop you off at your hotel, and pick you directly up when it's time to go. It doesn't get easier, safer, or more reliable.
If that doesn't convince you, consider this: average cost of overnight parking in Vail is $25 (there is no street parking). Coupled with the cost of renting a car, and the fact that there are free shuttles in Vail to get you everywhere you need to be, you'd be either an idiot or an egomaniac to insist on taking a car to Vail. -

Definitely the easiest and most efficient way to get to Vail from DIA (having rented cars to get to Breckenridge and Aspen, I've tried the other option, and it's not that pretty). The smaller vans mean you have less waiting time for your accommodation drop off once in resort, and assuming you don't sit in the back row, it's a smooth ride (bar the I-70 potholes).
Compared to other airport transfers I've taken in other parts of the world, CME definitely rates as one of the best.
