Review from Daniel M.
Because I'm a classy bitch I likes my wine.
Because I'm a klassy bitch my favorite wine is called Roadkill.
Few people know that Colorado has an active wine region (it's not all snow-capped mountain), but tucked away on the Western Slope you'll find some of the best wines available. The region itself is still fairly young, growing since 1978 and gaining designation as a viticultural area in 1991 but they've come a long way.
Colorado Cellars makes a wide array of fruit wines (hello pomegranate!), wine foods, desserts, oils, and of course the more typical wines.
All you need to know is this: Roadkill red.
This is a sweet red wine, not dessert-y sweet, but sweet none-the-less. Since I am nowhere near the state of Colorado any more my bottles of wine are imported and therefore stashed to be savored during special occasions (mainly days that end in Y).
If that's not your thing you can find a ton of other bevvies to suit your taste, there's even white zinfandel :'(
Whether you're classy or klassy there's something for you here (and if you're lucky at your local liquor store too!).
