Emily helped us choose a color palette for our new home. We had struggled for a couple of months...bringing home sample after sample of paint colors and putting them all over the house. Just before the painters were about to start, I took a chance and wandered into Space on Greenwood Ave. I told Emily my problem and she came to our house later that day. She REALLY has a gift for color. We worked through her process and chose an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL palette of colors for every room in our home. I could have never selected these colors on my own....because they look SO different on the walls in the rooms. But Emily already knows how these colors "behave". For one room, I really was NOT SURE about the color we settled on. I was having second thoughts and was concerned we made a mistake. Emily was reassuring. So I took a leap of faith based on her obvious talent and gift. The painters did that room first. It looks GREAT! The colors exceeded all our expectations. I would highly recommed Emily.
I wouldn't, however, recommend the Benjamin Moore paint we chose, their low VOC Aura...it looks good but the SMELL IS TERRIBLE (strong ammonia smell) and it has not dissapated yet. The no VOC is so expensive. We will be using a different brand paint for the remainder of our project.

Meet the Business Owner: Emily Lauderback L.
I assist people in creating the environment they want through their architectural finishes and colors. I also do space planning and redesign.
With a background in communication and education, I consider myself to be more of a facilitator in the design process. I work very linearly, efficiently, and intuitively to help people create what feels like home to them--not me.
I am extremely efficient. I don't waste my clients' time, which also means I don't waste their money! I am very clear on my process to manage a design job, which I am certain is responsible for my success. This process not only ensures a beautiful end result, but it also ensures that the process goes smoothly from a budget perspective.
I got into doing this work through remodeling my first home and then building my second. I can't help but be VERY budget conscious and creative in my design suggestions.
