3 reviews for Colonial Pizza
Great pizza and friendly staff. If you're a local then you've come to know and love Constantine, the owner. He's hard to understand sometimes but always friendly and appreciates his customers.
The pizza falls between gourmet (Hot Tomatoes) and mass-produced (Domino's). It's your standard, medium-sized crust, regular-toppings pizza but so much better than the greasy, flavorless offerings of Pizza Hut/Domino's.
The pizza here is not so bad by Williamstown's standards, but the nut-job owner is. A little old bald ball of psycho, he'll charge you extra on your delivery order (without telling you, by the way) if you offer a cell phone as your contact number rather than a land-line. If you rub him the wrong way on the phone he'll let you know, though you might not quite understand that that's what he's doing with his silly little voice.
All this would almost be cute if it weren't for the fact that he once tried to get a Williams student arrested for refusing a late wrong order. So here's the story - crazy Mr. Colonial's arrived at the guy's dorm 3 hours after the order was placed with the wrong calzone. The guy refused to pay for the wrong order which had come hours late, so the Colonial's guy called the police. WTF you say? NW! YW! (that's yes way). Pretty lame, if you ask me.
So take my advice, don't support this pizza nazi. At least the soup nazi had a funny line that you could understand.
I love the pizza and they have expanded their specialty pizzas. Back in the day they had like four with normal toppings. Now you can get pesto, artichokes and even shrimp. They have a great dough and the flavor profile is built upon that.
