I too am going through some life changes lately and I decided to have some photos done to celebrate my  new direction in life.

Karina took several beautiful photos for both work (for online industry headshots and such) and play. She was professional, easy to interact with, made me feel comfortable, and guided me throughout the process such that I ended up with several great photos. My friends love my photos and are asking where they too may sign up for her services.

Karina has taken some beautiful photographs of my little boy and I over the last few years.   They are so special and sweet.  At some point about a year ago, she showed me some of her boudoir shots, and asked me if I would be interested in doing some of my own.  First of all, I was surprised to see such a beautiful variety of women in her book.  Pregnant, and not.  
I hadn't really thought of doing something like that since I had a child.  My body has changed, and I've never really been as confidant with my post baby body.  My  interest was peaked though.  I thought maybe she could find the right angle to not accentuate my stretch marks, and love handles.  
I was nervous at first.  She was so complimentary, played just the right music, and I went with it.  I found myself  feeling sexy.  I really had no idea what to expect.  
Not only do I now have an unbelievable collection of sexy photographs of myself, but I have a new found appreciation for my body.  Karina found all of those flattering angles that I didn't even know existed.  My post baby body looked amazing!!!
Thank you Karina for helping me see how beautiful I really am.  I needed the reminder.  I am now excited to do it again.   Every woman should do this for themselves.

Many say that a picture's worth a thousand words, but what would one say about many pictures? Speechless is what you'll be after a photo session with talented photographer Karina Marie Diaz!

Lifestyle photographer Karina Marie Diaz is the most humble, passionate, and talented photographer I have ever met! I can still recall my first conversation with Karina in February, leading up to the day of my first photo shoot not too long ago. I had a million questions ranging from the photo session, clothing, hair, make up ... and much more. I was nervous and excited at the same time. And Karina was very kind, patient, and prompt in not only answering all my questions, but she also genuinely advised, and shared my excitement! Karina is the only photographer I know that would go above and beyond to accommodate her client's need. I know that for a fact because she has made a tremendous amount of effort in accommodating my needs for my photo shoot that no other photographer would ever make.

On the day of my very first photo shoot, I was genuinely greeted by Karina, and her two lovable kitties: Luna and Suki. I was very impressed with the natural light, and beautiful decor in Karina's studio (which she decorated, another one of her talents). I was definitely nervous, but Karina's bubbly personality, talent, eye for detail, advice, as well as passion was what uplifted, and guided me through my photo shoot. As the photo shoot was coming to an end, I could not believe how quickly time passed by. It was so amazing working with Karina, and I am eager to see the photographs!  

What's more, my first photo shoot was one of the most liberating, exciting, and fun I have ever had! Karina's passion, talent, kindness, and modesty, is what makes her such a wonderful photographer. Having Karina photograph me was so amazing, a dream come true to work with someone who is so humble, self-empowering and passionate in everything that she does. I am so grateful for everything that Karina has done for me! I recommend Karina to everyone, of all ages, and for any occasion. Karina offers many different sessions, ranging from family, weddings, or boudoir, and much more. Whichever session you choose, Karina will guide you along the way, leaving you with fabulous results! You will not be disappointed because the beautiful photographs that Karina captures of you will leave you speechless, confident, surprised ... and wanting to book another session!!! =)

As a mother of two small children, I have begun to doubt my sexiness as a woman and wife. After all, let's face it, after kids it's not like you're 18 anymore! So for a birthday present to my husband (and a little adventure for myself as well:-) ) I decided to have boudoir pictures taken (I had them done today!). I am so glad that I did. Karina showed me the pictures after she took them, and I was shocked that I actually looked beautiful and sexy. I kept asking her, "Who IS that?"

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Karina. From the second I entered her studio until the time I left I felt at ease. It was more like going to a friend's house for the afternoon instead of a "photo shoot". And at the same time, she remained professional throughout.

I know my husband will LOVE his birthday present and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year as well. Karina is awesome.

My last birthday marked a new decade and a new me, and I wanted to do something special to celebrate my womanhood and my outlook on life. Thanks to Karina, she has helped capture a moment in time that I'll always remember.

Every woman owes it to herself to be photographed by Karina. She has the amazing gift of being able to capture a woman's inner beauty and let it shine through in her photos. My photoshoot with Karina was one of the most special experiences I've ever had, and I would highly recommend it to every woman.

Karina has an incredible energy about her that is infectious and makes the photo session so much fun. I had only talked to her on the phone once before meeting her, but the moment I entered her fabulous studio, I felt like we had been great friends for a long time. She made me feel completely comfortable in my skin and I really felt that my true self was shining through. Her guidance throughout the shoot empowered me with a great sense of confidence that really showed in my photos (I've now mastered "smiling eyes" and creating maximum cleavage!). The end result was an amazing set of fierce photos (I received digital files less than 48 hours later)! Super sexy AND tasteful, they exceeded my expectations. I love them! 'Everyone has unique expressions and features that make you so distinctly you.  Most often it's hard for even your loved ones to describe although they try because they are preciously defining.

Lifestyle photography is Karina's gift.  She has this amazing ability to capture your expression, feelings and the moments when your emotion shines through.

My husband and I spend over three quarters of the year across the country from one another.  For his wedding gift I wanted something he would find both personal and sentimental for the time we spend a part.  Karina helped me create a collage of photos that showed the different facets of my feelings for him, from playful to sensually powerful, it's all in there.  He absolutely loves his new black book!

In one session she was able to guide and pull out of me exactly what I wanted to communicate.  A rare talent and a delight to work with, I would recommend her to anyone who doesn't want to be disappointed!'

I have never felt as comfortable being photographed as I did with Karina.  Her eye for detail, like straightening your outfit and getting your hair just right, was also a huge help and something I never experienced with male photographers.  She's a former model herself, so understands it from both ends.  She is wonderful at
coaching poses and expressions, keeping you smiling with her fun, quirky sense of humor.  And on a deeper level, Karina created a space of trust and self-acceptance that allowed me to truly celebrate my own unique sense of feminity and beauty.

I can't say enough about the work of this incredible woman, this most talented artist and photographer. It was at a charity event in which Karina was shooting that led me to meet this talented photographer. Perhaps it was my body language, who knows, but within minutes, she said to me "you don't like being in photos, do you?". Uh, how did she know that. Well, with that intuitive statement, and the unspoken confidence that radiated from this woman, I knew I had to sign up to get my photos taken. How thankful I am! Karina has a gift for bringing out the best in how we should feel about ourself. She seems to naturally find a way to have us celebrate our beauty and dare us to fall in love with who we are. For those of you who 'hate being in pictures, who don't like looking at themselves in photos, Karina is the woman who will change all of that. She will have you see a whole new you, and allow you to relate to yourself in a whole new way! When I saw my completed photos, I could not believe that the beautiful woman staring back at me, well, was me. Thanks Karina, for affording me the opportunity to now feel sexy behind the camera, to enjoy being photographed, and for making me see a side to myself that was hidden. Working with Karina is the best gift you can give yourself, hands down.
